Having moved 12 times in the last 20 years, I have vast experience with moving companies. My move was from California to Illinois. Quality Moving Experts LLC (QME) is the WORST moving company I have ever used. First, they are not an actual moving company, they are really a clearing house to find local movers to facilitate the move. As a result, they have no idea who they are sending to your home to handle the actual move. For my pick up in California the moving company was AJ ProLogistics (AJP)--a moving company based in Illinois. AJP arrived 2 hours late with a 20 foot Uhaul truck to pack a 20,000lb load with a crew of five people who looked like they had just been hired from a craigslist ad--with the exception of the team leader, none of the group had any experience (thus all the damages to my property). When the inadequately-sized truck was quickly filled, they charged me another $3000 to secure a second truck. As a result of inadequate planning, they of course ran out of packing material resulting in them leaving several large pieces at my home with the promise of returning the next morning to pick up--of course that did not happen so I was forced to pay a second company to pack and ship. When I arrived in Illinois, it took QME two weeks to advise me of a delivery date. The movers arrived with two trucks and 3 people (a team leader, and two workers). Shortly after arrival (and receiving the final payment in cash in full), the team leader suddenly had a "family emergency" and left. So that left two people to unload two trucks--one of the workers was a 60 year old man who spoke no English so they had to use Google translator to communicate with him. The other worker was a young man in his 30s (Eddie) who worked hard but at 6pm my garage and den were filled with boxes that had not been delivered to correct location, no beds were constructed, legs for sofas and hardware for furniture could not be located (and are still missing/lost). A total disaster. The entire time QME was advising that additional people were on the way while Eddie correctly confirmed that there was no one coming. The next day, I called QME requesting that they send the team back out to finish the job. As of this writing, it is now three weeks later and no one has come to finish the job. With Quality Moving Experts LLC you can expect zero follow up on phone calls, phone numbers that go straight to voice mail, continually changing costs/charges, inexperienced/unprofessional movers, extensive damages and missing items. If there was anything that could go wrong during this move, it went wrong--Quality Moving Experts did little if anything to resolve issues to expedite moving process. Don't believe the 5 star rating. They have racked-up so many poor ratings ( https://www.yelp.com/biz/quality-moving-experts-wilmington-4 ) that they decide to 'CLOSE' their business and open under a slightly different website. DO not hire this company. They are a complete scam! They will charge you thousands of dollars more than the original quote - and once they receive their money, they stop answering your calls. They sent a moving company to transport my furniture across the country... turns out the company was a complete scam - and caused thousands of dollars of damage to my items. When I called to request information on how to submit an insurance claim - they stopped answering their phones. Their mailbox is always full. Customer service is completely inept. Do not hire them if you actually like your furniture. UPDATE: over a year has passed since my move. I filed an insurance claim and it was deemed by an outside insurance agent that they did indeed damage my furniture and owed me a significant amount of money... yet 6 months have passed and I have not seen a single dollar (of note - technically this is breaking the law). - This company works under several different names and is AN EXPERT in AVOIDING ALL RESPONSIBILITY FOR THEIR ACTIONS. I recently booked Quality Moving Experts online to help me move my furniture from the port of Port Orange to my new apartment in Orlando. The furniture had been purchased from Maine, Canada and arrived at the port on March 3. I was a bit nervous about the move since it was a large and heavy load, and the new apartment was on the third story. The team from Quality Moving Experts arrived promptly on the day of the move, and I was immediately impressed by their professionalism and attention to detail. They carefully wrapped and loaded each piece of furniture onto their truck, ensuring that everything was securely fastened and protected from any potential damage during transport. We had the most horrendous experience with movers, so I really took the time to research and find a good one. Quality Moving Experts has an average of 5 star reviews, so that's a great sign. They definitely live up to the reviews. I was dreading taking apart my massive Weber barbeque so they could move it off our condo rooftop. They saw me about to dismantle it and quickly waved me off. They took the lid off and humped this giant heavy beast down two flights of stairs. I can't tell you how much that made my day! Also, we were planning on finishing some packing when the movers arrived since they are always so slow. These guys arrived and just stormed the place (in a good way). My husband and I could not believe how fast they started hauling stuff out of there. We were rushing to keep up! They start fast, and don't run out of steam like a lot of guys also. We have been recommending these guys to all our friends who move. They are all extremely nice and friendly too. And Jack, if you are reading this, I still have your jacket! read more

I had the pleasure of hiring Quality Moving Experts for my brother's big move from Miami to Brooklyn, and I must say, I am thoroughly impressed! From start to finish, the team at Quality Moving Experts showed a level of professionalism and expertise that is truly hard to come by. One thing that really stood out to me was the care and attention that they put into packing and securing all of my brother's belongings. Using blankets and straps, they ensured that everything was packed away carefully and securely, giving me peace of mind that nothing would be damaged during the move. Choosing a highly rated company on Yelp worked out great again, Quality Moving Experts was the only company to actually come to my place to have a look at how much needed to be moved and gave me a very reasonable quote and he also took the time to answer all my questions. A big plus is that they do not book more than one move on the same day. On moving day the guys arrived early. Quality Movers told me a couple of days before that he would send out an extra truck just in case. His expertise paid off as the second truck was also needed. We could not believe how quickly the 3 guys moved! They moved boxes non stop for about 3 hours. After I finally got the keys to the new house, they moved very quickly again for 4 hours. They were very careful in moving all the boxes, not one thing got broken! They were also very helpful in taking apart furniture before the move and putting it back together at the new house. I would highly recommend Quality Moving Experts and would definitely use them again in future. read more

This review is long overdue but life got in the way. Better late than never because Quality Moving Expert's great service needs to be known. This company is truly professional. We had used Quality Moving Experts last October to move our furniture from 2 storage units into a condo. Steve, Paul and Jack arrived on time and they were outstanding in the care they took to make sure our furniture and the newly painted walls were not damaged. And even though we had an hourly rate, they worked quickly and non stopped. The final price of the move was very close to the quoted price After experiencing their excellent service, we wished we had used Quality Movers for the first part of our move. The company we had used to move from our house to the storage units was adequate. However, the final price was much more than the quoted price and the service can't compared to the service we received from Steve, Paul and Jack. The very first time I moved was horrible I had bad movers that showed up really late and took them hours to finish a simple 1 room move, to make matters worse they charged me way more then what was agreed upon. The next time I moved a friend recommended Quality Moving Expert and I am so glad that she did. So of course when I had to move again I called Quality Movers. Your movers are on time, quick and helpful. I know exactly how much I will be charged and I'm not overcharged. I can trust Quality Moving with any moves that may happen in the future. In short, there are too many factors that went into my decision to hire them for my move. The one main one though for anyone to consider Quality Moving guys is that they can be "trusted" with your move with no worries. Oh my gosh! You get what you pay for, but I didn't know that sometimes you can get amazing service for a reasonable price! Jack came out to our office to quote a move. My office was only moving to the suite next door. Because he was so professional, I had complete faith that the quote he gave me was accurate, almost a third less than the previous quote. This was because my oak desks were able to get moved with no damage. However, I was unprepared for the professionalism of the team that came over on a Friday to move my office. The guys moved my desks and other office furniture without damaging a thing, and they didn't scuff my new paint on the walls. AND, they were quick about it. Now here is the part that blew me away. It was way over my expectations. They assembled a desk I hadn't gotten around to. Absolutely the WORST moving experience I have ever had. These people are complete scam artists and criminals. Please do not believe the positive reviews you read here. You will REGRET it. I ended up paying thousands of dollars more than I was originally quoted. They do not provide you with the actual name or contact information of the moving company you will be working with. Quality moving experts sent an unmarked vehicle to pick up my items 8 hours after the originally delivery window. The moving company they contracted with has a very poor track record and ended up damaging most of my items. When I went to submit my insurance claim, Quality Moving Experts claimed absolutely no responsibility for their involvement in the entire process. Only hire them if you want to pay way more than expected, have your items damaged, and receive almost a complete lack of communication from the company after they receive your money. read more

I used the information found at Yelp to evaluate a mover for my planned long distance move in November. I found Quality Moving Experts and determined they had a good reputation. Johnson, the Quality Movers representative, gave me an accurate estimate, and assisted me with information required for the move. Their estimate was middle of the road (not the highest or lowest of the companies I evaluated). The Quality Movers employees who packed and delivered the household items were professional & courteous. They arrived on time, took great care packing and loading my furniture and other household Things. The driver Warren helped me track my shipment and provided an accurate delivery for the arrival from Port Orange to Orland. He delivered the shipment as promised. I found Quality Moving Experts through Yelp and was very impressed with the testimonials they received. I personally spoke to the owner and I was impressed by his knowledge, professionalism, and friendliness over the phone. His company handled the move yesterday, which was scheduled. He and his associate, Mike, did not just show up on time, but 10 minutes earlier than booked. It was evident that they respected my property by wrapping and covering the furniture with blankets. I can only say that moving which is usually one of the most stressful experiences, was not so because of the superlative service we experienced with Mike and crews from start to finish. We were stressed on our moving day as we didn't have everything taken apart (furniture, beds..) The men from Quality Moving Experts arrived at our house right on schedule, and moved our stuff very quickly. They also took apart the furniture that wasn't yet taken apart, and on arrival at the new house, put it all back together again! They also put everything in each room where they belonged and even put the furniture where we wanted it in the room. There really wasn't a lot of things left over for us to do! They had 2 guys outside and 2 guys inside, to ensure that they didn't wear their shoes on our new carpets. Even then, they had placed runners. With all this great service, they were fast, and very friendly. I will always recommend their service to family and friends. Needless to say, we were very impressed. My brother shifted his house due to his transfer from Port Orange to Miami. He looked up some of moving companies in this regard at last he found Quality Moving Experts. He called them but at first, their operator didn't pick the call but second time their operator picked up and she immediately said SORRY and told Jordan there is fluctuation in a landline. It's impressive and showed how valuable their customers are for them and then Jordan told Allie that he want to transfer some of the households to Miami. She noted down and sent a crew they gently wrapped and packed everything and labeled them, they unloaded at the given spot nothing was lost or broken each and everything was safe and sound, they did a very good and excellent job. Quality Moving Experts did a move for my parents from Port Orange to Newark. I've to sy that not only was I totally impressed with your service and so were my parents. The issue with the elevator booking being so short was dealt with by the Paul efficiency of your movers. The truck was loaded and unloaded in a timely manner and there was not one thing damaged. More importantly, they're prompt, clean n extremely polite. My parents are in their seventies and the respect with which they treated my parents is something that you don't see very often nowadays. You're clearly a company that's not only dedicated to going above and beyond when it comes to the services you provide, but who clearly respects individuals. My previous experience with moving companies was terrible. There were scratch marks all over the floor. I complained and they were like, 'so what'. Extremely rude and unprofessional service. But with Quality Moving Expert I had to change my assumption regarding all of the moving companies. They were very considerate, maybe because I was very vocal about how the floor matting really means a lot to me and having it damaged would be the last thing I would want. They were really nice. They packed the utensils after they separated the different types of utensils. I was very encouraging in front of them and also told my experience that I had lately.
