    I rented a unit on October 10, 2025, and on October 20, about 20 minutes before closing, I…read moremistakenly closed my account. The very next morning (October 21), just two hours after they opened, I called to undo it. The unit hadn't been rented, and I still had 21 days left that I had already paid for. When I spoke with the manager, Ms. Cynthia, she told me the closure was final because I had signed the vacate form. I explained that it had been less than 24 hours and asked if any exception could be made given the circumstances, but she firmly declined and said there was nothing she could do. Her tone was curt and dismissive. While I understand the importance of company policies, the lack of flexibility or empathy for a genuine mistake was disappointing. Good customer service often means finding reasonable solutions--especially when the customer acted quickly to correct an error and no harm was done to the business. I hope Gardena Self Storage management reconsiders how they handle such situations and empowers their staff to respond with more understanding and professionalism. Everyone makes mistakes, and I tried to fix mine right away. I wasn't asking for special treatment--just a little understanding and fairness. The lack of compassion and willingness to help was extremely disappointing. I left the conversation feeling dismissed and undervalued, and it's an experience I won't forget. The unit was clean and the grounds were well maintained. The access hours are very limited and they are not big on providing excellent customer service.
