We just never have enough space, and lord knows this old house was built during a time when closet space wasn't a priority. The perks of Mini Price...a professional team. More than just "climate control " which at our previous space, meant, your 4 walls and a roof overhead to keep out rain, sun, snow. Mini Price actually has Air Conditioning, which makes it much more comfortable when needing to run in for something or to store something away. It feels very secure. My only gripe, would be, they advertise a price on their website, but that price is the "this is where they get you" per our salesperson. You can expect a pretty low price for the first 2 months and then the price goes way up. Apparently this place caters to short term clients, and it is a bargain if you just need a month or two. That being said, the price still isn't bad once you factor in that it is new, clean, AC, secure, a team of professionals on site to assist if needed, and ease of use. Though we did not take advantage of it, they even have moving trucks for move-in use, only fee is mileage. When we went to check this place out, the units with the size space we were seeking were fully occupied, so we ended up with a larger space for not much more than we were paying at the previous place. For that, the value is pretty good. Overall, so far so good. I would definitely recommend Mini Price for your self storage needs.

Joseph also sent 4 guys, and that's including himself. All 4 (Joseph, Jordan, Tyler, and Connor) were polite, respectful, and careful with all of my things. They made sure to cover my front door frame with padding so it wouldn't get damaged. They also took apart my dining room table, and beds & put them back together at the new house. Furniture, big pictures, and anything else I asked of them were wrapped securely. The team moved me in only 6 hours. As a reference point: The first house is 2200 sq ft; the house they moved me to is 2600 sq ft. Both houses are two stories with a basement, 3 bedrooms, & 2 1/2 bathrooms. They moved extremely slowly, spent a significant amount of time standing around, and appeared completely disinterested in working. Before any work even began, one employee asked to use the bathroom, another had my husband sign paperwork, and then the entire crew went outside and informed us they needed to call a manager because they "might not be able to do the move." This was especially frustrating because we had clearly stated MULTIPLE TIMES before moving day that they were only moving furniture and packed boxes. Despite this, they repeatedly complained about "loose items" throughout the process, even after being told over and over that we were handling those items ourselves and only needed the furniture and boxes moved. We were told a manager would arrive in 15 minutes. Instead, we waited around 30 minutes while nothing got done. When the manager finally arrived, he moved just as slowly as the rest of the crew and immediately started focusing on the same "loose items" issue that had already been addressed numerous times. The situation became even more frustrating when the manager implied work would begin shortly, only for the story to suddenly change again to them being unable to do the move at all after he called another manager. What followed was more arguing about loose items rather than any effort to complete the job they were hired to perform. I have never seen or heard of a moving company refuse to move furniture and packed boxes when that is literally the service they were contracted to provide. The entire experience was unprofessional, disorganized, and a complete waste of our time. To make matters worse, we are still waiting on the refund that the owner stated we would receive. I would not recommend this company to anyone looking for reliable movers. *Edited to add - One of your guys claimed there was a litter box odor. Interestingly enough there are no animals. All we could smell when your crew entered the door was rank cigarettes which I'm sure most people don't want that smell being transferred to their belongings as second hand smoke is a health risk that literally can cause cancer. We watched the crew stand around and chain smoke while awaiting the manager so I'm sure the next persons belongings smelled lovely after that. Loose items were actively being taken care of as we told your crew several times that we were handing and we did. Your company failed to do its part and move the BOXES and FURNITURE that were EASILY accessible throughout the apartment. Looks like there's another review that had the same issues. Quit trying to blame each customer that had a negative experience with your company. The day before the job, he texts me saying he needs raise the price and proceeds to "tech-splain" how it's a specialized job requiring specialized tools (I built it myself originally with a drill using a couple of bits). I was told I would have four men. I had only two men. They did not have the man power to move my furniture. My dinet table was rolled on its side. The table put a large gouge in my hard wood floor. I was told they don't pay to get that fixed. I am still finding pieces that are damaged. I never complain so this is new to me. They contracted the move out to another company and failed to even tell me. My furniture was dropped, rolled and dresser drawers dropped in the yard. I can't even touch the surface of how bad. Please stay far away from this company. I used them years ago. I was told they are under new management now. I wish I did more checking. What a disappointment.

As I recall, initially the number I called for BRM went to someone else who told me they were getting my info to the right person. Darryck contacted me shortly after and needed to inform me when he could do the job based on another larger move customer the same week we needed. By the end of the next day he had locked me in to the next Wednesday, which was perfect for us. After talking to Darryck more and asking why he doesn't have any online presence on Google and Yelp for that matter, I found out that he has recently purchased the business from a former employer and is having a hard time getting these online listing services to allow him to set up the business under new ownership with the same business name. Also, the Facebook representation had no posts since June 2022, so at first, I was dubious. Well, Darryck is apparently focusing on providing good work more than online presence. He was great on communications. Answers his phone, texts and emails in reasonable time for a man physically doing the work. He was the only mover who sent me a quote on letterhead as a .pdf. He and his partner worked as if THEY were paying for my move. They really hustled, in a good way, I wasnt concerned about the cargo due to them working so fast. He charged their time from the moment they arrived and began working to the last box landing at the other end. Very reasonable and came in at a fraction of his estimate for his final bill. Note: We were very prepared with very little to disassemble and almost everything boxed, staged and ready to go. It was a small move and they knocked it out like it was nothing. The better YOU prepare, the less expensive your move will be. These guys work HARD by the hour. Anything you can do to make their job easier, simply saves you money. The less you leave them to do, the less your cost is going to be.
