This place is clean and safe. They had carts to help move items and (twice) came to help when I couldn't get my lock to work. I'd definitely recommend this place if you need to store items. Mike in front was also really nice and helpful. The lady also came once and helped with the lock, and I can't remember her name but she was really nice also. They also sent confirmation every month when the payment went through so I was never worried about missing. read more

I was extremely happy with the service and the facility at the Extra Space Storage location on Racetrack Avenue. After comparing prices and options at four different storage facilities in Henderson, we settled upon this particular location for several reasons... the first three being price, price and price. The person who helped us, Owen is also the manager of the location and is a retired police officer. Owen was very friendly, extremely informative, and helped us get the perfect unit for our short term needs (6 months). Great customer service! Always answers the phone and it was an easy move and out process.

Not impressed at all. Moved to town and needed a space to store things while I looked for a house. This place is near my family's house where I am staying. Was able to get a space to accommodate my stuff on the ground floor. Unfortunately there is no temperature control so the unit is hot! After 3 months I got a letter letting me know they are increasing the rent by $26 more a month "our rates are reviewed and adjusted depending on market condition changes." What the heck does that even mean? So starting in August, I'll be paying over $300 for a rental space. Ridiculous! Hoping I find a house soon so I can get out of there 8/1/19- the business owner responded and asked me to call him on an 888 number... as the contract is in my brothers name, he's been trying to call for 2 days, but it just rings with no answer or voicemail 6/17/20: didn't think it could get any worse than the prior review, but it has. DO NOT USE THIS FACILITY!! They do not care about the customer. It's all about $$ to them. Here we are in the midst of a pandemic crisis for COVID-19 and they have decided to raise their rent once again. When we spoke to Patty at the corporate office her comments were "we did a market analysis and we adjusted to market conditions." I brought up the whole pandemic to her and she basically said they didn't care about the Covid crisis that this was all market-based. They have now increased the rent two times in 13 months. That is absolutely ridiculous. She said we could call the local shop and talk to them, but don't the local shops follow the corporate rules? So what good would it do me to call to be told that I'd have to talk to corporate anyway." This company holds you by the balls because they know you need a place to put your stuff in for storage. They don't care about people all they want is money. It's a shame that they think that they can take money during a pandemic from people who have lost jobs and have no money to pay for extras. They have an ongoing rat problem and ruined my furniture that was barely stored there for over a month. I'm not happy with this experience

This review is for the location at 733 s racetrack Road in Henderson Nevada. We rented a storage unit here while the house was being built the price went up twice which is kind of ridiculous?? But that's not the problem at all the site manager is very unhelpful very non-customer service she seems very put off by people? when you ask her something she's incredibly put off constantly. She reminds me of somebody that absolutely hates their job but it seems like upper management doesn't realize how bad she treats her customers. I was in there about a week ago and when I opened up my storage a giant rat ran over my feet as I was opening the door!!! I'd complain six times to the site manager that I am seeing droppings in my storage which they did nothing about I complained and complained and complained I even contacted the district manager and he was extremely put off by me being so worried about my furniture inside the storage. Enough was enough I need to get out of that storage when we arrived with the moving truck to take our furniture out they were dead rats dead rat feces everywhere they had pissed all over our furniture and shit!!!' There were dead carcasses of rats rotting in my storage unit!!!! I got the site manager to come out showed her the dead rats and all she could say was I'm cleaning it up!!! I told her that we had complained and complained and complained about the rats but she didn't care she just rolled her eyes I asked her why didn't they do anything about it her reply was well we've changed pesticide companies many times and we didn't have pesticide for a long time wow!!! Then I told her that when you walk into the facility down the hallway it smells like rotting food and she tells me yeah we had two people that moved in and brought food and it went bad and we had to wait for them to take it out of storage??? I asked her why would you rent to somebody that's storing food she her reply was it's dry food isn't that what rats and mice feed on??? She was very bothered by the fact that she had to do anything for us it was very put off even my brother when he went back up to the office to retrieve his drivers license because he had to give that to rent the cart he said you know he goes I understand it's your job and you know you show no remorse and she said I don't have to and walked away. Here are some pictures of our storage. This is an incredibly filthy dirty storage facility that would not take care of your property and they do not care about your property. We have far more pictures and we plan to go to the news media with this and the health department. Mark gave us the best customer service possible and we are so happy we chose this company. He was thorough and explained every tiny detail of our storage rental. He showed us the best access point to take our belongings into the building, explained the locks, and showed us the unit first which helped us realize we needed more space. He made sure to give us the best possible deal and even calculated the discount so that we would know the cost upfront. Our first month is free and we aren't obligated to stay longer than a month, so we ended up paying just the insurance and admin fee for this month. I'm so happy with how we were treated today. Mark went above and beyond for us. I'm really glad he made this experience a great one. read more

I've had Extra Space Storage for just under a year now. They provide great service! I am not one to normally make a review but I think that this place deserves a shout out. I called them about two days ago saying I would like to let them know I was going to move and be grabbing my stuff out of the storage unit. I gave myself a little extra time because I didn't know when I would be getting all of it out. They prorated the days left that I would have but I actually finished grabbing everything today. I didn't make a call to them about the prorated service and I figured ehh what's $55 for giving myself extra time when I didn't need it. Then I got a call today, not too long after I finished clearing out my unit and they refunded me the $55 since I didn't need the extra days. I wasn't expecting that but it was greatly appreciated. The worst facility I've ever used for storage. They do not have temperature control so the temperature is 90 and above. They also have a lot of mice running through the storage and they keep raising their prices. Then they don't want to do anything for you they just want their money. read more

I rented a unit here for three months. Three days before I was scheduled to move out, they charged my card for a fourth month. I called immediately to tell them that I was moving out at the end of the month. Jennifer in the office told me that the only way I could get a refund for their error was to get all of my stuff out THAT DAY! I still had three days that I had already paid for. Owen was so awesome and incredibly helpful with the entire process. I had prepaid for the unit online and instead of just showing/directing me to my unit, Owen took the time to walk me through the facility and showed me the ropes. He even offered my poor, overheating pup some cold water which he desperately needed. This was my first experience renting a storage unit and I am super pleased with the prices, the property, the location and the customer service! Worst storage place in the valley! Auto pay never works so the payment wasn't taken out of my account, have received phone calls from them sales, emails from them but no communication that the payment wasn't taken and then locked out of my own unit that day, customer service dodged phone calls, bunch of cowards. Then when auto pay does work your rates are triple what they should be. Closed my unit and moved everything down the street, DO NOT RENT FROM EXTRA SPACE!! read more
