It is easy to rent here and the facility is clean. Only rent here if you are looking for a short term solution. Less than 6 months. At 5 months the monthly rate doubles then increases by about $40.00 a month every 9 months. There is no cap and the increases never stop coming. Just called and they confirmed that's their bussiness model. Our space started at $116.20 a month in 2023. It's now $328.20 soon to be $350.00. Manager Bri was very helpful! We had no idea what size a unit we would need. She asked about what we were storing and about the sizes of furniture. She showed us 3 different sized units and explained how things may or may not fit. I've never had to rent a storage before so I appreciate the time she spent with us. We got a great price as well. Absolutely horrible customer service. It's not even aggravating, it's just disappointing. Exhausting trying to even communicate with the pen-doodled golf cart sweeper who avoids anything but sweeping and disappearing especially when she knows you're trying to reach out to someone and it's hide-n-seek.....shoulda hide from that basement your uncle tattooed you in I've even seen other customers here screaming and arguing at the front gate multiple times and staff runs from confrontation. "Cynthia" I believe, the tweaker thin girl with glasses and horrendous "tattoos" that look like middle choker sharpie was nothing but rude on multiple incidents. The very first time I smiled and said hello he gave me the dirtiest look and almost hit me with her golf cart as she sped off looking disgusted. The second time, isn't he nicest politest tone, I simply asked her if I could ask her a serious question about the security issues they've been having, she straight up said "I'd rather you just call tomorrow" and she left two hours early. The hospitality, attitude, and communication the same horrible quality as her obviously regrettable "tattoos" At the end of the day, miserable addicts need a place to work too so Extra Space could be the job for you!! read more

Unfortunately it is first come first serve and I waited to long but he calles another location while I quickly drove over and told them I was on my way. Melissa was very friendly and super helpful. We are having a large party at our house in a month and we have lots of stuff that needs to be moved out in order to make room for all the people. After checking with several storage places around town who could not offer us any storage units we found Extra Storage in Hesperia. Anthony was very gracious and showed us around so we could see the storage unit. He was enjoyable and fun to talk to. He made the contract signing effortless. This location is a newer location and it is really clean and nice. The sales people inside are cordial and polite. Hubby and I liked it so much that we actually recommended this place to one of our boys who needed to move furniture. I would happily recommend this storage place to anyone. read more

MELISSA.. she has the worst customer service skills! She mumbles everything she says. Asked why my rate was increased during the pandemic when times are the hardest for a lot of people, and I've only had the storage for 4 months! She responds with "it's gonna Increase regardless. And it might increase again in a few months, 6 months, maybe next year!" And when I asked her nicely if there was any way she could adjust it back to the normal rate. She responds with, I can put in a request, but it has to be approved. And as I waited for her to put the request in, she refused to do it until we got off the phone! Are you kidding me? Definitely hates her job because I've only experience GREAT customer service up until now! MELISSA is the worst person and should not be the manager! This Extra Space Storage is the best storage facility. We have had our things in this storage for almost two years and we have been very pleased with the facility and employees. We just emptied out our storage unit today and we will use this facility if we ever need to again. Our unit was huge and our boat and many other things were kept nice inside of it. Unfortunately rate increases forced me to move out of Public Storage so I decided to come back to Extra Space Storage.
