I came to Extra Space Storage to get a tour of the facility. Ms. Snertha, the assistant store manager, was cordial and nice enough to take the time to show me a few storage units and answer any questions I had. Located along Dixie Highway, Extra Space Storage offers four floors of various-sized climate control storage units with first floor/elevator access. The facility is very clean. It provides a safe environment for customers and their belongings with an on-site manager, individual alarm codes for entry, and 24-hour video surveillance. There's also 24/7 access to the units, moving carts for heavy/bulky items, a convenient loading dock; as well as various locks, sized boxes, and packing supplies available for purchase. Rates vary according to the size of the unit. There's an administration fee added and insurance based on item value. Once I decide which size unit I need for my things, I will make a reservation. read more

Honestly I'd give this place 0 stars if I could. This place is ridiculously over priced. Been here for a year and they've raised the prices twice. Started at $280, three months later raises the price to 320, six months now I'm up to 390. They tell you they review they're rates but if you don't lock in the rate for a year IT WILL go up. The reviews are what intrigued me most as I just relocated back from CA and didn't have a clue where to start. Christina called me within minutes of booking my reservation online to make sure all my questions were answered. I had gone to another storage unit nearby and the woman working had no clue where the unit was and we walked around half the floor before finally stumbling on it. I live literally a minute away from this storage unit. So, I see this storage unit every single day. Can't miss it. I've always wondered if it was any good or not. Now that I am moving, I see that it is great! This place definitely lives up to their great views! When I walked in & Christina introduced herself. I was immediately assured! I reserved an appointment for 12pm. But, I was already out & got there at 11:40. Within less than 20 minutes, I saw my unit, filled out paperwork, all of my questions were answered, & my unit was paid for. I was so shocked to walk out of the storage with access code & everything before my 12 o'clock appointment. I will definitely recommend & use this storage again & hope that Christina & the other guy with the gold Mustang is there to help me again. I have been paying for storage for a 5x5x8 with Extraspacestorage since August 2017. I went to pay the bill online and I noticed that there was an increase of $6.00. I was not notified beforehand of the increase. I contacted Extraspace and was told that since no contract is required that the rate is increased randomly. I spoke to the Helpful manager at the site I rent with and he adjusted the rate for this month but essentially told me the same rationale, no contract means increase at any time. Just recently, I went back to extra space storage on Dixie hwy in Hollywod Florida. It had been a couple years since I'd used the facility and remember it was a much better experience than what I experienced at a, U hall facility since then..I was traveling and they're wasn't a extra space where I was unfortunately.. When I went to the facility the manager Christina was nothing short of incredible, she found me an excellent spot to store my scooter and accommodated me in every way..Then the assistant Joe was just as great... In all my years of fighting for just the normal expected service from places like Tmoblie, who it seems is always painful to deal with, etc., its especially great when people like Christina and Joe prove that there are good people out there that do the right thing, that do care, that don't try to hustle you, that actually take a genuine interest in the customer..They are the best. The facility itself is very nice and so are the people who work there. But the rent increases are crazy! They raise it twice a year and the last increase was over 9%. I pay with auto-pay and have never been late but that doesn't seem to matter. You'd think they'd want to keep a good customer, but I'm moving to the new place down the street for nearly $100 less per month. read more

This particular storage facility deserves the highest rating, mainly, because of the caring, friendly, professional staff. Both the manager, Christina, and Joe are exceptional. They provide topnotch customer service and make the whole storage procedure much less stressful. I have been a customer at this ExtraSpace Storage facility for over a year. Both Christina and Joe have been very accommodating to me when I have moved in and out of units and sincerely care that the customer is satisfied. The facility itself provides easy access. Entrance is only a few steps away from anywhere in the parking.lot.. The hallways are well-lit with storage units in easy reach via well- placed doorways and elevators.
