There would be an additional $500 deposit held on my card. Informed the staff that I have rented from U-Haul in Florida before never had an issue. I asked if they could show me this in writing somewhere and was told because they are a 'authorized' U-Haul rental and the place I rented from before was a corporate location then there are different rules. This is not something that's made clear while booking a rental online. Poor customer service, lack of communication and empathy.

Kind people but very inconvenient. You rent the truck from this location, but pick it up about a…read moremile and a half away. You drop off the truck at the same location, but if you get any add-ons (dolly, pads, etc.) You have to return them at the store. You can't leave them in the truck. The store closes by 4:45-5 p.m. if you don't return the add-ons by that time, you have to drop them off by 6:30 a.m. or they charge you for it. There are plenty of U-haul stores around. Save yourself the time and go somewhere else.

You go through lots of aggravation to get to a car, that car has maintenance issues, you get another car that the breaks work bad on. This place is the worst place. I'm telling you right now. Pay extra money and don't do this to yourself. The lady at the front desk was a very nasty miserable person. She should probably retire. The guy next to her was even nastier. The only thing this place can do to improve is get new people to work there and then get better cars. Oh and when you pay money to rent a midsize car, they will give you a smaller car but not adjust the price and lie to you in your face and tell you that the car they gave you is midsize. I don't care where I am and how much I have to pay. I will NEVER rent from Budget again.
