They'll let you know the pick up times for UPS, USPS (think priority flat rate boxes), etc. so if you record the times in your contacts you can be sure to get your boxes out timely. So not just convenient if you are in the Aiea Waimalu shopping center area on Moanalua Road, but great, helpful, and friendly service.

He was transparent and realistic about what expectations my family and I should have. He went above and beyond to take care of my family as if they were his own relatives. On moving day, Ty and Brandon were unbelievably efficient, hardworking, thorough and kind. My grandma doesn't speak much English but the language barrier proved no problem in the face of Ty and Brandon's kindness. Ty and Brandon were undoubtedly impressive. Professional from start to finish. Crazy strong and fast. They were efficient yet careful. No damage to any of our belongings. Ty and Brandon worked quickly in order to help my family save costs--even doing extra things to help like move a whole fridge to make my life easier. What was estimated to take 3.5-5 hours took the pair of them 2.5 hours. This is with one tall flight of stairs at the old apartment and FOUR flights of winding stairs at the new. Unreal. After 17 years, I moved from Pūpūkea on the North Shore down to Honolulu. Not only was I moving myself but I moved my art business too. My moving team Jordan, James and Jakob (I nicknamed them the triple threat ) were absolutely fabulous. I wish I could give them negative stars…read more I moved from Honolulu to San Diego with this company, and the experience was terrible. My Samsung 55" TV and computer monitor arrived completely shattered. Ten smaller boxes of my china collection were missing, and the pieces that did arrive were broken. These were high-value items, and I was never compensated because the movers failed to put stickers on the boxes -- which honestly felt negligent at best, and intentional at worst. On top of that, around 15 boxes either never arrived or showed up heavily damaged. I communicated with both Hawaiian Movers and the local company, and neither showed any sympathy or sense of responsibility. Their response was cold and dismissive: just "go talk to the insurance company." This happened about two years ago, and I am only writing this review now because I was recently going through my china collection while preparing for an event, and it brought everything back. It still makes me angry and sad. Please be extremely careful if you use this company. Make sure the movers put stickers on every single item and box. In my case, they did not label many of my items, and that became the reason I could not get compensated. Worst of the worst. Do not use them.
