Communication felt minimal, and there was no immediate transparency around surveillance review or what steps were being taken. For a facility of this size, I expected stronger security protocols and a more urgent, supportive response when a customer experiences a major loss. Instead, the process felt reactive and unclear at a time when accountability and reassurance mattered most. If you are considering storing valuable or sentimental items here, I strongly encourage you to ask detailed questions about security procedures, monitoring, and incident response so you fully understand the high risk. This was a devastating loss, and the lack of accountability from the StoreLOCAL was unacceptable. Their insurance is essentially worthless, and their customer service provided no help at all. Save yourself the heartache and frustration and the major loss of money and goods--never use StoreLOCAL.

Changing lightbulbs is really that hard??) and ok, they email you out of courtesy, but it seems like I'm getting a, "we will be inaccessible on such and such day(s)," email every time I turn around, that is, when I'm NOT getting a, "We're raising your rent...again" email. The icing on the cake is, the people who work here are rude, sarcastic, patronizing and don't lift a finger to help. I am mildly--but clinically, with the papers to prove it-- learning disabled, and when I requested that someone SHOW me how to get to the other elevator (because the main one was broken AGAIN) she laughed and said, "It's REALLY not that hard" without moving an inch. Packing my shit up and finding a new space asap. The rates are MUCH better at Safeway and Safkeep anyway, y'all! Ditch this overpriced shithole.
