Sometimes, as we all have experienced, a problem with a business can showcase their ability to address it and their commitment to their customers - that is what happened here. I rented a space and they gave me the last storage all the way in the back . A few months into renting this storage they let us know that they had broken into it and we had to come see what they had taken. The people that broke in made a hole big enough for them to fit and mind you they broke concrete! to get in. I was in disbelief when I open the unit and noticed they took all of my stuff and my sons as well. I WAS SHOCKED and heartbroken I couldn't believe the employees had no idea what was going on. They took every single box even my family pictures among a lot of other valuables they wiped us clean. They only left the bed frames and my mattress because that didn't fit through the hole they had made and some kitchenware they couldn't get to. For what I seen these people probably stayed in there for a few days. I found a cat's skull and its lower jaw it was gross among other disgusting things. There was also a bucket with human feces in it. After we confronted the employees they laughed it off and one of them told me "this happens way more than you would think" as if it was supposed to make me feel better.In other words on their end it was completely normal to them and no big deal. I would NEVER recommend these storage units to anyone. This place needs to be renovated. They are not enough cameras to cover all areas properly, doors are uneven and slide latches to lock the doors are rusted. Please do your research before renting a storage unit.

WARNING: AVOID AT ALL COSTS! Choose another storage facility…read more Please learn from my mistake and do not be sucked in by promises of cheap storage for the first 3 months. They will bait and switch you and they have horrible customer service. No one was there when I arrived at 1:30pm. I called the phone number, no one answers. I am standing there with 3 movers who are ready to unload, but we can't get past the gate. Eventually someone picks up the phone and rudely says they left to assist other customers (this was a lie, the employee with the poorly drawn on eyebrows was in the back of the office in an employee only area). I say no problem and step inside to fill out paperwork. Right off the bat, this woman had an attitude. She claims I don't have a reservation. I say yes I do, and show her the email. I ask if I can have the driver pull the truck in while we fill out paper work. She smugly says no. Bait and switch #1: she tells me I will have to pay a higher rate for insurance than I was told when I made the reservation. Bait and switch #2: she also tells me I will need to pay 3 months up front (this is fine but it would've been nice if I was informed when I made the reservation and discussed with them over the phone). At this point, I am uncomfortable, annoyed, and getting the impression that she has no interest in helping me. She say that I have an attitude and that I can find storage elsewhere. I understand they have the right to refuse service, but I don't have time to find a new storage facility (moving is stressful enough), so I try to apologize. Asked her what I can do to make this right. She still says no. I tell her to have a wonderful day and inform the moving crew. The movers plead with her because they want to get the job done. No luck, she tells them the same thing: we are not welcome here. We had to call around to other storage facilities and got very lucky to find a cheaper unit at a higher quality facility that doesn't require 3 months payment up front. It all worked out and I'm so glad I didn't give them any of my money. These are terrible people and they don't deserve to be in business.

I didn't get everything I asked for in my original claim, but I got some compensation to offset the many permanent damages to our belongings. The art of negotiating is to create a win-win situation. Not feeling like I won because we lost so much due to the infestations. I am glad I found them and I was lucky to get on a special promotion. My rent is about 1/3 less than it would have been elsewhere. The facility is clean and easy to get to and I'm on the ground floor. That is a plus instead of having to put your code in for every door you open, and the elevator too. I recommend this site!!!

I finally moved my things out from this storage and when I did there were live rats and droppings all over my items some things had to be thrown away.
