We had insurance through the storage place and when we tried to file they denied it that it doesn't cover floods when our contract said it did. Such bs. They just want your money and don t care about the customer. And when it flooded they sent a freaking email to everyone and that when we had to clean everything out we couldn't use their dumpsters cause they "didn't have enough room for everyone to throw their stuff out there". As reference, I have moved multiple times, including from overseas, with little to no damage AT ALL. The following damages were sustained in this move: * broken and damaged finials on multiple curtain rods * my sons brand new bed was so poorly handled, the screws were ripped from the frame...and were completely gone * they lost the bolts that hold my refrigerator handles (they offered to order them, but all things considered I handled it myself) * the dryer was disconnected improperly so the connecting hose for the gas was damaged (also brand new) * multiple frames were damaged because they simply stacked them WITHOUT protection between each one Each crew was tipped very well in addition to the heavy cost of what I thought was a professional company. It is clear that the crew actually performing the work is NOT well trained or professional. I do not recommend this company for anything related to packing or moving. You are better off either hiring a real moving company or taking care of it yourself.
