The upper level unit wasn't a problem thanks to the ladder, just takes some teamwork. It was ideal for us UMiami students to put our dorm room items in storage here, and we were able to bring the van we rented pretty close to the unit which was really convenient. It was so much easier than we expected and we will be coming back to store our things in Kendall xtra every summer!

The best part, my rates have not changed since I started. This company could easily try and hold my items at ransom and try to increase my fees every year (like other storage facilities do), but they value loyal customers and in turn, I'm happy to still be with them. Rates are variable, depending on the area, and in this area, this venue has the best rates. The facility has A/C and parking right in front of the large shop door. This facility does not have keyed entry pad or late hours, but given the price of the units, it's a small trade off. I only visit a few times a year, so not having the extra fringe benefits is worth the savings. I would highly recommend this facility.

Headed southbound on US1 to run some errands near The Falls, I could not help but notice this…read morebrand new 6-story building brightly illuminated in the evening. Hmmm ... what is this? Its name: "US STORAGE CENTERS." I made a mental note to give them a call the next day to inquire about their rates. When I called, the manager answered the phone. His name is Calvin. He was very helpful and he invited me to come check out the facility in person. Although it was two weeks later when I finally showed up in person, Calvin remembered my name. (Impressive memory!) He showed me a 10' x 10' unit (and offered me a special deal.) Calvin is extremely professional, cordial, courteous, and efficient ... a true pleasure to deal with! The facility itself is immaculate, well-lit, and climate-controlled (air-conditioned.) Elevators and moving carts are available. Security codes are required to enter the building and also to operate the elevators. Restrooms and drinking fountains are at your disposal. One of the best features of all is the large covered parking area/ loading/unloading zone. This means that neither you nor your belongings will get wet even when it's raining cats and dogs!

When you inquire in the office about getting them fixed, they tiredly point to the phone number on the door and tell you to call corporate. The price increases every year and it isn't a small increase. Paying several hundred dollars every month, you would think that they would have working building services. Additionally, The office staff could not be less helpful. Most days you can see the manager in the office with his feet on desk, clearly visible from the front window. Once the office is closed, the bathrooms are locked, so if you're in there in the evening, you'll be out of luck. They tell you to go next door to Walgreens!!! We moved one mile down the road, got the same size unit for half price (not a promotional price) and every time we go, the manager is walking around the property, either walking the property with his housekeeping cart or talking with customers. Much better customer service!!!
