I should've did my research on this company because this place is a scam! They bait you with low rates so that you could move all of your stuff in. Then 3 months later they'll raise the price of your rent to what ever price they want. I tried calling their office to see if the price could be negotiated but they were not willing to work with me. So now I have to move again. Supposedly, this company tends to raise their prices to what ever they want whenever they want. I've heard someone say they started out paying $30 per month only to end up paying over $150 per month in less than a year! I think this company preys on the fact that moving is a stressful thing to do, so they expect people to deal with price increases rather than move. Not me! Luckily I only have a few things to move but I can't imagine how people with a lot more stuff to move are coping right now. read more

Actually i booked mine online bec. their smallest storage was available and i took it instantly! i transferred my stuff from SuperStorage to this place, i mean dont get me wrong, superstorage was ok but my place easily gets dirty and you have to constantly cleaning your storage. Anyway, the manager was super nice, i mean my space was a long walk so she took me with her little cart there. showed me around the hoops, and thankfully she showed me about the app so you can just tap your phone and the gate opens. i also have a friend in perris blvd. and she wasnt aware about the app, she always has to look up on her notes and tap the code numbers. (how inconvenient) i rented the very smallest space, which i think its 5x10? something like that, and it has more room than my previous space. its not climate controlled but its secured and has more protection, its inside a small structure. always have auto-pay, so you dont have to get pestered by not paying on time. but one thing of a let-down is they do increase their prices various times, so just watch out for that. but they do email you ahead of time. read more

In less than 2 years, the rental amount increased by almost double. When I first rented in 10/20, I was paying approximately $150. In less than a year it increased over $100. I disputed the increase due to being a senior but also the increase was exorbitant. After speaking to the manager it was lowered by approximately $30. Again, the rental was raised in May/June of 2022 to $279.30 and that's when I decided to move out in August 2022. As I was moving out, I noticed that many of my bins had urine stains and rat droppings through the unit. HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE PLACE!!! When I disputed the exorbitant rental fee, I was told the contract said they could raise at any time. read more

This place changed my view of storage units. I used to have such a horrible association with them - depressing, dark, overpriced, etc. but Extra Space actually has a sunny vibe. First of all, for my storage unit, I only pay $33 dollars (including taxes) a month. You can pay online, which is super easy, and they even give you friendly email reminders a few days before the payment is due. So the price is super fair and it's efficient to make payments. Second of all, the storage units themselves are really clean and easy to navigate - they are all on the ground floor and the layout is logical. Somehow they don't feel depressing, even though they are storage units. My one qualm is that this particular center in Moreno Valley can be a bit poorly managed. The manager isn't always available and a few times they didn't give me correct information. But on the flip side, they are usually really nice and accommodating when I have interacted with them. Seriously, I would recommend this place to anyone, and Extra Space in general, because they are clean, friendly, amazingly well priced, and have a happy, welcoming vibe. read more

I would recommend this storage to anyone! The manager, Dan, helped me choose the right size of storage for all the stuff in my apartment! With AAA discount, first month was half off and I got a free $10 lock for the unit. The gates require password to get in and out and the facility is camera protected so it feels very safe (unlike what I initially thought of storage units!). When I moved my stuff to the storage after a long day of packing, I hadn't locked the storage unit properly (so it was basically left unlocked) and Dan (the manager) was caring enough to notify me the following day when he found out the door was unlocked during his walk through of the storage facility. My favorite thing was that I could easily drive my car and the uhaul to my storage unit and unload. The unit itself was clean, I didn't find any insect (what I expected) in my boxes after unpacking them. read more

Shout out to Daniel for helping set me up the lease! The staff is the most friendliest and sincere staff out of many businesses in the area. If I didn't know any better, I would think I was checking into a hotel rather than storing my stuff. They are that awesome! What even made me more welcome was the fact that they remember your name. You're not just another customer to them, you're like a neighbor who happens to use their garage for storage. Not only the best customer service in the business, but in the area. Remember that if you're thinking of storing somewhere else. It's a feature that definitely won me over. - Gate hours are from 6am-10pm everyday, with the office has varying hours. - No indoor units, but there is another extra storage pretty near that does. - Units are surprisingly clean, as well as the exterior of the entire facility, including the office. - If you do decide to lease a unit, don't forget to purchase a lock. In my opinion, disc locks offer the best protection. However, this is all right after moving everything inside the unit. Very disappointed! We have been here just over a year, never late, however, our rent has been increased 3 times. The most recent was 3 weeks ago during this pandemic where people are struggling including us, my husband has been out of work since March 31st. When I called the office I was told "well we actually decided to not pass on the increase in Jan due to COVID-19". COVID-19 was not a thing in Jan. Basically I was told sorry but not sorry, your rent is raised. Every other company we have called has helped except this company. read more

My brother and his wife let me use some of their storage space for some of my boxes since I just moved back home. I did a trip with my brother to the storage unit and was very surprised by the cleanliness and security of these storage units. There's a security gate in the front and you have to have a pass code to get both in and out. And you have your keys to your unit (s). There is plenty of space to drive thru and find your unit and load/unload whatever you need and another car can drive past so you aren't blocking the whole isle. Some storage units are like single spaced driveways so only one car can drive thru at a time or they are too small for two cars. So I liked that feature. Seems like a nice extra storage area for whatever stuff you want to put away from sight. And from what my brother and sister in law said, it is one of the cheapest storage places around. read more

I have had a storage unit at this location for more than two years now and I've recently noticed improvements in this facility at a time when I would least expected it. Covid has turned my life upside down but it's great to see that the upkeep of the grounds is even better than it was prior to covid. In addition I recently noticed improvements in the level of professionalism and communication amongst the staff. I recently fell a couple weeks behind on my payment and had the pleasure of speaking with facility's manager Tina who didn't berate or belittle me but allowed me to make a payment while being very empathetic of my situation. Whatever you do please save yourself from a headache and avoid this place. I of course trusted this place with my personal belongings and had my unit got broken into. There is no sign of force entry but there is only plywood separating my unit from others. The man in the front desk said there was nothing they were able to do but I know this had to be an inside job since I am the only one who has a key to the unit. read more

Really good prices! Some of the cheapest we could find! The staff are extremely helpful and go above and beyond. Today my husband locked his car keys in our storage unit and once the office was opened they cut through our current lock and gave us a new lock. Super efficient. I have comfort in the security cameras. Clean units. Just a overall smell of coyote urine. But if you can look past that it's a great storage unit and you really get the most space for your buck. read more

I think this location is very unsafe for customers because of the ground not being not level, a person can get hurt really bad, I witnessed a good friend of mine breaking her foot and was in horrible pain from the fall and they have no warning signs posted for the customers pertection letting them know that the ground is not leveled and you could fall, so I'm sorry I can not give this storage a A1 rating. read more

**Warning** worst management experience ever. They locked me out of my own storage unit the same day I leased it. So when I returned to store my items with a fully loaded uhaul, I wasn't able to access my unit. I called the "emergency number" to have management open my unit and they were no where to be found. I rented a unit here for a short period of only one month, this past July until August. The manager here is very friendly and helpful. However so on the day that we were moving our things out I slipped and fell on uneven ground and broke my foot. I immediately reported it to the temporary manager that was there and then went to the hospital. Shortly thereafter I spoke to the same person whom I reported the accident to and she didn't care at all about my injuries. I asked if an incident report was completed and if I could file a claim with their risk management and again she said that there was nothing else for her to do nor file and that the report is just for their in-house review only. She said that someone from risk management might call but she doesn't know if they will or not. This whole process has been extremely stressful. I'm not able to walk still, I have medical expenses and time missed from work. These people don't care about you at all and this place is extremely dangerous. Please be extremely careful when walking around and moving your items in or out of this facility. Horrible horrible place and I do not recommend this place at all. read more
