Storage space for rent this is a picture of the units that are available there. They're stacked up to three stories with a huge elevator and provided carts for putting boxes on in large materials very secure and easy to get in with the code and feel safe they provide you with a walk that is secure. The entire unit is very clean and really a nice atmosphere. The staff is nice and generally I really recommend this place for storing either materials during a move for any valuables. Access is very easy loading and unloading generally is not a problem. Units are extremely clean and the small ones are pretty pretty large. I thought I had found an ideal storage location for my stuff. The customer service was good and the facility was clean and well maintained. Then I found out about their unethical business practices. I rented online and I took advantage of the "web special" rate. I had no idea that it was a temporary rate until I got a postcard notifying me that they were nearly doubling my monthly rate. I never saw any indication that it was a temporary rate. I certainly didn't see the new amount. Had I been notified that it was nearly twice as much, I would have rented elsewhere. I'm sure they'll say it was indicated in the fine print on some page in the agreement. A customer should never be surprised by the terms of the agreement. They are clearly trying to hide their bait and switch tactics. Very disappointing. read more

It's a great location . But they doubled my rent fee . Which is insane . I been having a storage there for more than 2 years and I was a little disappointed paying $280 a month on the 3rd floor . It's always nice and clean just the price on it . I'll be taking my stuff out soon read more

We've been using their Sherman Oaks location for the past 10 years and I can assure you that the management take great care of their facilities. Unfortunately,the Troost location is surrounded by homeless people, but sadly every single corner of Los Angeles is occupied by them nowadays! I originally got the unit on a really good deal, and the hours for being in the space stayed open till 10:00pm, which was great because I work in film and sometimes I need to get Into my set stuff late at night when I get off set. About two months after I moved in, they changed the hours to be 8:00pm shut off which means I can only go when I'm not on set, which sucks. Then they started raising the rent, twice. I had some issues with my autopay, the card got stolen ( not the issue of this business) so I called with the new card Info right before I left the country for a month. I came back to a Lien notice because the associate hadn't charged the new card when I gave it to her and then I didn't have cell or email access cause I was in Indonesia in the jungle. When I called to get it sorted they still tried to charge me for the lien fees. It got sorted but then when I went to use my storage unit, there was still the extra lock on the door to keep me from getting into it. I had to call and get someone from the front office to come unlock it. Unfortunately, it was just a series of bad events that all happened to me so I chose to move out. The facilities themselves are fairly standard. The bathrooms are up near the front office so make sure you go before you get to your unit. Elevators are in good working order. There's never enough rolling carts for moving stuff but that's normal anywhere you go. Parking spaces are hard to come by during the weekend and afternoons so be prepared. read more

Hidden in their agreement is that they can (and do) raise your rent at any time. 2. After ONE MONTH at the advertised rate that I signed up for ($167/mo) they raised it by 50%!!! 3. Without notice!!! 4. Only when I called them on this did they agree to a PARTIAL refund, and would not guarantee future increases would not happen. They will always use the same language: "From time to time customers may be subject to a rent increase due to the competitive blah blah blah." There's no "time to time" about it. They will IMMEDIATELY AND SUBSTANTIALLY GOUGE YOU after you sign up. This *IS* their business model. read more

When I received the actual Rental Agreement, it not only did not acknowledge that my price was fixed for one year, but it said they could change my price with 30-day's notice. I contacted headquarters. I contacted the local management. No one was willing to give me anything in writing that would support our agreement for a 12-month fixed price. Well. When I first got my month to month rental lease. Not one word was said about the price of my unit fluctuating with a market value. I was under the impression my 181 dollar price was locked in for my month to month. No where in writing nor verbally was I told or informed that my unit price would increase by nearly 35%. From 181 to 243 ALLLLLLL THAT with out 1 single notice mailed to me or a phone call maid. Not even an email about the price hike. When I messaged customer support and inquired about why the price went up. They told me they had mailed me a notice stating that they planned on hiking the price but I never received any notice. There customer service rep told me that they looked up if they sent one to me and that they on fact did. UNFORTUNATELY it never made it to me. Blame the USPS not me. Also we do have an online message center but nothing was sent to me their either. Bad customer service if you ask me. Other than that the facility is great just surrounded by garbage on the outside. The people there helping are nice and they just made a mistake. Which lead to this bad review. I have no choice now but to pay the elevated price. Believe me though I'm looking around. Just be careful and get EVERYTHING IN WRITING. ALSO check in with them to see how or when they feel like they're going to price hike ya. read more

I rented a unit in August of 2021. the unit and facility was nice and clean as this is a newer building. Came back once in oct to put more things in the unit, nothing unusual or sketchy. I came back in Jan 2022 to a facility that reeks of urine, people hanging out inside and outside of the facility. And to top it all off I come to my unit with a new lock on it, odd. I call the front desk n sign a waiver for them to break the lock. They open it and I see that all of my things are missing. They're only offer was to move units and give me a new lock but what does that matter if your things aren't secure. Moving units literally makes no difference. save yourself a headache, keep your belongings safe and do not store them here. the place is declining fast read more

We literally were told this place was safe and always taken care of. 1st day we showed up it was clean and quite. A week after we started moving we noticed sketchy people just parked and waiting and would never put in their codes in the panel but walk in behind people who do put their codes in... and noticed people would just be walking around the storage isles looking sketchy. On July 4th 2021 my wife showed up and noticed our storage open and everything dis shoveled and items missing.. we called the cops and the nice lady working there that day and she check every storage on The same floor and found half of our stuff in a random locker which had other peoples stolen items .. the the lady working that day ask if we wanted to move storage lockers and we said yes until she said it would be more expensive and when asked how much it was $100+ more and they called it a convenience fee even after we just got robbed... so we just moved out and cancelled out contract. When we called them to let them know that we officially moved out they gave no sympathy or said any apologies and could care less.. I DONT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AT ALL.. read more
