I have to move in a couple weeks. I need boxes in which to put stuff so I can have my stuff at my new place. I can't get these boxes by going by supermarkets, I need real boxes that have never been used. It's not me, it's my stuff - none of my things like to be anywhere where food, livestock or various sundries have been first. I have ordered from U-line in the past, but their shipping is outrageous, almost as much as the whole order. I did a little Google search and found suppliesformoving.com. At the time of the order, I had no idea they were in Brooklyn. The site is clean and all the information is readily accessible. One can guarantee that this website did not cost a lot of money, but it works. One of the best things about this company is that they have pre-prepared packages of boxes, tape, etc. divided by room and/or rooms which makes it a little easier. They have boxes for junk, boxes for tvs, boxes for lamps - are you following me here? They have supplies for moving - tape, blankets, plastic wrap, paper. So I go online and make my order (FREE shipping by the way on everything!) and expect it to come in a couple days according to the site. After the confirmation of sale is where it gets good. 30 minutes pass and I get a call from the company saying they can deliver today, the same day, in the late afternoon. OK. One hour later I get another call that they can deliver right now. Yes please. Approximately three hours after I ordered many, many boxes, they arrived in perfect shape. Having no idea this company was in Brooklyn, I guess I should consider myself lucky. The customer service was fantastic and the boxes have been working just fine. These guys are a SCAM. We paid for boxes and other moving material. None arrived the money was deducted from our account. when we inquired they very rudely told us that the transaction had been declined and that they were not responsible and hung up the phone. we then emailed them our bank statement with proof of payment. They once again said they were not responsible and hung up the phone despite the fact that we were dealing with the situation calmly. We lost our money and had no boxes on the day of our move. Yesterday I decided to look for boxes. After checking all the stores near me I realized that it would'n be easy. Home Depot and Lowe's are 25 minutes away that means I will have to take a cab and negotiate with my girlfriend to help me. I don't think she would be happy... So, I went online and I found suppliesformoving.com. I was surprised that prices are actually cheaper than anywhere, plus free Next Day Delivery. Wow!!! Ordering was easy and shipping was quick. Prices seemed good in comparison to alternatives until I received the boxes and found that their boxes are smaller than the equivalent at other stores. For example, a large box from SuppliesforMoving is the same size as a medium box from Home Depot. And their small is an inch bigger than the small boxes at Home Depot. If I had known this I would have ordered differently and perhaps not from their website. It is my fault for not noticing, but still frustrating. As someone who has moved quite a bit, but doesn't think about the actual size of the boxes beyond what they are labeled, this was annoying. I now have way more "small" boxes than I want and not enough large ones. read more

Ordering was easy but that is about the only good thing about these people. Boxes were beat up, some had gouges in them, some corners with mashed. The small, medium large and extra large do not have the certification seal on them and I have doubts about them being the ECT32 that they claim. I got the frame and mirror boxes and all I got was the large outer box, right on the box t states this is to be a 2 piece set. When calling customer service the man said there is really only 1 box, when I mentioned what it says on the box, his reply was did you see the picture on the web site. When I inquired about the weight limits on the uncertified boxes, his reply was only ECT32, He had no clue, a couple of other questions received the same results. He was rude on top of it all. Do not trust this moving box company. I received the boxes and they are very low quality, they buckled when I tried to put anything heavy in them. I called to very nicely ask to return them and the owner yelled at me and said I could call the President of the United States but he would not let me return them. Boxes at UHaul or Home Depot are higher quality and would leave you dry. read more

Horrible customer service. Alex, answered the phone and was completely rude from the start. He didn't even acknowledge that is was a business, just answered and said "yea what you want". Alex doesn't speak English very well so when you ask him to repeat something there is an instant attitude. After asking a simple question as to the date of delivery, Alex proceeded to say "Do you want the order or not?" When I asked him if this is how he treated all his customers his response was" yea they still give me they money" I fell like in this day and age there should be better customer service especially when paying large amounts of money for something. My go-to vendor for all moving supplies. Have ordered from them a number of times - always super-fast delivery. Great customer service, if you need to contact them. But you probably won't need to because they get it right the first time. The prices are very competitive and the supplies packages by room take the burden of "what do I need to pack this bedroom/kitchen/bathroom, etc." off the customer. Keep up the good work! read more
