I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy. I got bait and switched when I spoke to Mellissa on the phone and when I came in the next morning(with Andrea) it was $10 more monthly(over $60 when you look at it) which with someone with a fixed income and limited money. This place I left disappointed. I highly recommend going and calling Dollar Self Storage. Best service ever and was $20 cheaper. You won't regret it only 5 mins away. (Talk to Irene say I sent you!) There's a response from the customer service below but I am not wasting my time calling it won't change anything. They have the information. This place is the worst. Over $10,000 of DJ equipment fishing equipment and they even stole my son's toys was stolen out of my unit and only got back about $1,000 and then then a year later they were painting and the only thing I have worth a value which was my bed had a bunch of overspray on it I first started paying $72 then I went up to 185 the people who worked there are absolutely rude and try keeping my stuff hostage giving me the hardest time to get my stuff back take your stuff somewhere else with all the money this place makes they can't afford a security guard that's absolutely insane I forgot the guys mean who's just an absolute jerk read more

I've had my stuff there over 1 year and half well my unit got broken into my full down hill mountain bike stolen , 3 sets of Princess house , 2 boxes of China they ram saked my unit they have plenty of time to go through almost every box ! I notified manager she said they have NO CAMERAS ON INSIDE !!! WTF REALLY. Had to wait 2 hours for sheriff to come and fill out a police report. Just moved out from this location on Pico Rivera and it was good. Was at this location for 8 months and I finally got my new apartment which means I can now leave and move in. This storage place is in an iffy area so I was already kind of skeptic. The price was right though. The lady I signed papers with (magali?) told me there wouldn't be a price increase for a year and "usually" the price only goes up a couple of dollars. I stored my stuff there for 2 years (because I'm military and move a lot) in those two years I was there the price changed 3 times. I was paying 94$ a month when I was first there and I just moved out recently. I was paying 145$ when I left. I had a 10x10, and I thought that jump on price was ridiculous. Just know ahead of time they have specific times when they adjust prices. It's not exactly a year after you move in. The workers there are pretty nice, they try to help as much as they can. I think they had a change in staff recently; they're nice. Nothing was ever broken into (my stuff) I felt safe going there at night, and liked the improvements they were doing to the locks. read more

What an awesome place to have for storage. Not only was it cheaper then all the other storage places in the area it also has an awesome friendly manager that went over everything in detail. He got me the best deal. Also after I got my storage and left, the manager called me up and said "I got good news for you we now have a different spot available down stairs where you originally wanted I can help you get if you want" WOW that was awsome!!!!
