To give context, I had a recent cross-country moving experience with an entirely different moving company that left me pretty traumatized from their level of deceit. This was NOT the case with Gentle Giant. They gave me accurate quotes. I was also able to readjust my list of items to be moved, and was reminded it was based on hours. The movers wrapped, prepped, and loaded my furniture swiftly and carefully, and went above and beyond at my new rental when I needed unexpected extra assistance. These people are no better, and maybe even worse…read more They want you to let them know how much you have to move which if they looked, they would know? They accept that amount, then tell you your items were way over and leave half your stuff behind and it's going to cost you twice the amount. I used them a year ago, and still am angry about this practice. Call BBB and complain if you have the same issue. In this lawless era, it's time the consumer was protected again, even if it's only in getting the word out.

They broke glass, put holes in her Fisher speakers, piled things so high that we couldn't reach them, and topped it off with the queen size mattress and box spring! They were horrible! She paid almost two thousand for this. Also some of her belongings never made it in there! They "forgot " them on the truck? Just a suggestion. They seemed like opportunists to me.
