I recently wrote an honest review after the place sent me an email with a request for me to write a…read morereview for them. I am very honest and fair and never just write a review that is 5 stars or 1 star because I am emotionally charged or anything. My hope is someone will see my review and have an honest view of what to expect. 2 days after my review of this facility the manager woman I have never seen before handed me an envelope with a smile on her face and said my lease is being terminated and I have till the first to get out. She said I had multiple violations accessing the property after closing where my gate code was used. I told her that was impossible because I am very vigilant about abiding by all the rules and I promised her there is nobody who can show a single piece of evidence backing that claim. I asked to speak to the manager and she said she was the manager; so I asked to speak to someone above her and she said that I was not allowed to speak to anyone above her but she would let them know I would like to speak to them, but not to get my hopes up because these decisions are almost never reversed. I said this feels very much like I'm being discriminated against and that I'm disabled and the unit is very important to me. I repeated that I never broke the rule and nobody ever mentioned me violating a rule to allow me to make sure I never did it again and she said I was seen in the parking lot past 10pm and that is considered a violation. Me making a phone call after leaving my storage before I drove to my next destination is the claim after she realized I never accessed the gate with my code after hours and that was a bogus claim. I cannot believe I am being kicked out because I didn't give them a 5 stars review. This is the most childish behavior and to smile in someone's face when you know you are making a decision that is going to make a persons life extremely difficult is so messed up. How someone can enjoy that moment is disturbing. I used to be a Forman working up on the light rail and even when I had to fire someone who definitely deserved it, I felt terrible delivering that news because I was causing unknown hardship for him. This woman looked like it's her favorite thing to do. Save your money and energy and go to a nicer place with a better staff. These people were the worst, and their units were horrible too. I suggest going to pearl street self storage if it's convenient for you. Thank people are very nice and the units are the best I've ever seen. I can't write enough to describe how horrible secure space is. Don't go through what I went through and go somewhere else

Pricing was up front and I would be provided a quote upon the team arrival. This all happened as I was initially informed. I set up the junk haul for a week out, and was contacted the day prior and 30 minutes prior to their arrival. Three guys showed up; Tyler who provided the quote prior to any work being done (if I did not like the quote, the work would not be done..as I was instructed by customer service). The team was tyler, calvin and colin. Three very nice guys. They worked quietly and were very respectful of my property and home. They ensured careful exit out of the home and worked tirelessly to move all junk out of the home. They were very careful leaving the home, ensuring the doorway was not bumped or scraped. Tyler performed the art of ensuring all items were on the truck. He estimated that I would use up 3/4 to 1 truck... it ended up being 1 full truck. I watched the guys dismantle items carefully and thoughfully and ensure that the truck was 100% fully loaded...NO GAPS or lost space on the truck they loaded. They even had to artfully CLOSE the door to the truck to ensure all items were held in place ! I would recommend this company that serviced my area to anyone in this area..I cant speak for performance at other locations as per the reviews I read on yelp...but this Puyallup/South Hill crew was very impressive and professional ! In fact, I contacted them again for a quote for packing and loading services... they sent a representative out within a couple of hours..that was Tori. I walked her through the house and remaining items that would require packing and loading into a POD at a later time...she gave me a quote with a cost range. I was impressed with the team that came to my home...the fact that they give a quote before the work is done...and you still have the option to refuse the service--thats a win win!
