For starters, StorQuest customer service at all levels is excellent. Whether the representatives on the phone and/or in person in the location office, service is friendly, helpful, and professional. There are other reviews online that say when referring to the onsite manager, "Jen is the best!" I can assure you, she is. That also is a big reason why this StorQuest location should be your first choice. For example, since we had a large truck full of belongings from an out of state move, we booked a 10 x 25 climate-controlled unit. Thanks to great customer service, we were able to get a unit very close to an exit door where we were able to load and unload without too much of a walk. Jen even explained which way to park the truck to not have to unload in front of the direct hot sun. During the storage period, we did automatic billing and were able to time it as to move out at the end of a billing cycle. Jen was very helpful in explaining how best to end our month-to-month contract. Overall, this storage location has what you need: newer facilities, great customer service, and a friendly and professional onsite manager. Book it.

The initial price was a modest amount each month but within 60 to 90 days quickly became $169.00 monthly. I had registered a credit card with Storquest which was auto-billed on the first of each month. In December 2025 I informed the Storquest office manager (Ray) that we would be vacating the unit by December 31st. We actually had everything out by Dec. 30th and I swept the floor and left the roll-up door open to show we had everything out. But come January 1, my credit card was billed another $169.00. I talked with Ray at the office and he said he could not authorize a refund of the billed amount as this had to be done by his supervisor. He said everything would be taken care of within 10 business days. I waited but no refund was credited to my card, so after further communications with Ray (who instructed me to follow up with my bank, displaying a classic "not my problem" attitude), I had no choice but to dispute the charge with Mastercard. By this time it was almost February and it was getting to be quite stressful. I'm a retired disabled veteran living on fixed income and maybe I'm wrong but $169.00 is a lot of money to me, anyway. Finally the money showed up on my card on March 20 with no explanation as to why it took almost three months to correct the erroneous billing. There are so many storage facilities in Phoenix and my advice is to find a different one than Storquest.

Secondly they rented out our unit because we bought a second unit. We have 16 days left of the month to utilize our unit, but Lorenzo assumed we transferred and closed our unit. We did not cancel our first unit because they do not give you a refund of a unit. So we wanted to utilize that unit, however we went to get a lock and he sold it already and we didn't even have access inside the building. Today my husband confronted him about it and he said he sold the indoor unit because we didn't have a lock but he literally watched us and sold it right then and there. So we contacted smart stop via phone because apparently their managers have hidden information , we have to wait for the DM to call or email us within 2-3 days. We call the 800 number and Monica tried to sell us another unit for a whole month and add 16 days free. So basically SmartStop has our money for that unit for the month and now someone else is paying for a month for that same unit. They also send you a postcard size note in the mail almost quarterly telling you your price is going up. We started that unit at $60 and this month we paid $250for our indoor unit 10x10 only and we purchased an outdoor unit last week for $120 10x20. This company is the worst scam ever . Do not use them. I am paying the price and I am getting a lawyer

If you can relate, we all know moving is stressful and often unpredictable on how much space and storage you have left . I ran into some last changes and called the office, spoke with Scott who was so helpful, accommodating and most of all understanding. I have rented storage space in the past and it was difficult to reach someone. Not at smart stop storage! They truly care about your business and concerns.
