This company has no morals and no integrity. I was hit by one of their moving trucks. The driver pulled over admitted fault gave me all his insurance and registration information and instructed me to call his manager and it would be taken care of. When it came time for me to get my truck fixed I got the runaround, nobody returned my phone calls and when I finally called corporate and got someone talk to me they lied and said the driver was not admitting fault. If you have a SMALL MOVE they are probably ok. I had a 2000 sq ft home with lots of furniture missing and not much in the way of packrat in the home. They have one size truck, and it did not fit. When I complained about the extra trip (I was paying hourly) the female manager was very cool and really didn't care about my complaint. She gave me 30 minutes off for my trouble....oh joy...$50, I can now retire. The problem is this. Don't sell me too low and say that this move will take 4-6 hours when it will and did take 9 hours. Also I'm not a master of truck logic. If this is going to be tight to fit in your truck, tell me! The reason this company does not?? They want to get you committed and then the movers take as long as they like to get you from point A to B, all at $105 per hour. Tick tock. Chaching. The guys that moved me were nice, but there's no way I'm using this company again. Bait and switch. Sell me on $700 and bill me for $1000 at the end because I have no choice. read more

Working with this company was disappointing and actually a nightmare to say the very least. This may end up in court and Chanel 3 news. My fiance passed away and I needed to move this past March of 2020. I had used 2 Men and a Truck in Minnesota a few times and found the service to be exceptional not the case here in AZ. There were 2 parts to my move as my new home was not ready. In March I moved out of my home in Peoria and all of my belongings went into a storage locker in Sun City Grande. It was determined in March that the same crew would do my 2nd move. I felt relieved and trusted there service because of there name and being a franchise. 5 weeks later I'm ready to move in my new home May 2020. Because of the Covid-19 virus and only 1 mover wearing a mask and the other not. I decided not to be in there way to over look the move. I trusted the company so 3 to 4 hours later they arrive at my new home. During the time and on on my dime one of the workers is in the truck texting and he admitted my book case was damaged and said he could take it. I first said yes then said no. I purchased it at the container store and it is under a year old. My stomach started turning. As there unloading my 50 inch 2011 Samsung TV is MISSING and 2 Bookshelves are missing. I went to the truck and asked both movers several times to recheck no lady it's not here was the response.The movers went to put together my Casper bed frame which is a year old and pieces to my frame parts are missing. I have 2 dented tables. I have a leather recliner and there is a tear. Screws are missing to a table that was disassembled. I walked up to the truck in my street asking numerous times where are my book cases and TV!!. There sits the employee texting. I said I don't mind that your texting but not on my time. Then they didn't have the tools to put my furniture back together so another truck showed up and there they are chatting. This move was 8 hours. I verbally told one of the movers my concerns and did sign the invoice. In hind sight I should have not and gone thru all of my belongings. Because of Covid-19 I wanted the move to be fast and not have contact with the movers. I feel I signed the invoice under duress. I called with-in 96 hours to the office and I emailed corporate and the owners of the franchise. Never heard back from the owners of the franchise. Corporate can't do anything because it's a franchise. The manager said my furniture is still functional. Who is he to determine that? In regards to my TV and bookshelves his response was did I leave it in the house I moved out of. My bed frame how can they have lost parts? The manager told me to call the police and make a police report. I called Peoria police and the officer said this isn't the first time he has heard this and no they don't make police reports so I will have to go to civil court. I paid close to 2 grand for transitioning and tipped each worker generously thinking my belongings that I've worked so hard for would be safe and taken care of. I cannot recommend this company. The outcome is yet to be determined. I'm going to guess they could care less. Update to the readers:I did receive a new bed frame and a check for $75.00 which will cover the cost of a table cloth to cover up my dented table. I figure I'm out a grand between lost /stolen items and damaged furniture. That is my review on this company and my experience. read more

Contracted with Two Men and a Truck to move my Mom on 9/28. Although the move went well, we noticed later that day that the crew left oil spots on the carpet of the old house. It took several calls over the next 10 days to get someone to call me back and schedule a tech to come to the house to look at the spots. After attempting unsuccessfully to clean these spots on 10/11, Nicole told me she would talk to her manager about compensation. During final walk thru on 10/12, the new owners were not happy with these spots and demanded a $2000 credit to our sales agreement in order to purchase new carpet. Since they were taking possession on 10/15, there was no chance to steam clean the carpet before the old was removed. As of today, 10/15, I have not heard back from anyone from Two Men. read more

We purchased a large piece of furniture on the other side of town on Craigslist. We called several local companies to see who could pick it up and bring it to our home. Two Men and a Truck were very competitive with their price and clear with how it worked. Had great communication and the updates with links were nice. The company literally doesn't care one of their movers put an open, dripping bleach bottle in a box full of makeup, toiletries, toothbrush, Etc this is after showing up at my house reeking of cigarette smoke to the point where I couldn't be anywhere near him because I get triggered very easily by cigarette smoke. oh, and apparently you only have 72 hours or so to even let them know about any damages. Had used 2 Men and a Truck previously and loved them, however, two years ago when we moved into our current apartment it was a different story. The only reason I am doing this review now is I am looking for a mover and would NEVER use them again. We showed them the quickest way to.move us in, a stairway next to.our apartment but instead they chose to use the elevator at the FAR end of the hallway, having to wait for slow seniors coming in and out of the building adding at least two hours onto the move. Being Seniors on a fixed income, this is a fortune. They lost the cord to our lazy boy couch which we have not been able to use since. We called, no satisfaction from the office. No wonder they only have two of five stars. Oh, yeah, we are missing a box. read more

I recently had a two phase move where they picked up my household items and brought them to storage. Then, moved the items from storage to my new home 2 and a half months later. You packed my 75 inch Samsung TV and moved it twice. Upon delivery to my final destination the picture was broke. Denied a claim that the damage was done by moving. Looks like they went out of your way to not accept responsibility even though you packed it and were the last to touch the TV. They even said this $4500 TV is not made to last more than 3 years. I want a call from someone in the corporation to address this unacceptable answer. I have reached out to the executive team to inform them of this piss poor experience. Common theme, they quote you a price and go over at least an hour and one half. Clips for our garage shelves were lost but promised over and over again they would be replaced, not. Asked at least five times where an item was. We were told each time, it's in the truck, never saw it again. Many calls made to this company and never returned. We will look into your complaint but never get a call back. I saw a clip in my mailbox but didn't know what it was. This is after we were promised someone would be back with new clips and finish the job, not. Nightmare, don't use them. The guys were awesome, too. They were efficient, safe, and made sure my stuff went where I wanted it to go in my new place. I've used two men and a truck before and the crew I had at that time was great. The crew I got this time for my move we're inexperienced and smelled like marijuana. I called the office and they informed me no other crew was available. After the inexperienced crew was taking a long time (6 hours) to load and barely start unloading I received a call from the office informing me they would be sending a more experienced crew and thank goodness they did. This move was a bad experience and I will not be using this company to move again. Plus my stainless steel refrigerator got dented and not sure how dealing with that experience will be. read more

I thought this was a good company but it wasn't. All my items were all damaged, they all got scratched up and were very closed minded movers. We had asked politely to wear shoe covers but they denied it even thought we had cleaned for hours. They damaged the walls and left dirty marks on the walls also. For a steep price you would think the items would be safely transported but for $150 an hour per person I got my damaged wall and items for a total of $800 plus (they weren't that many items just large items.) They also got mad at us for their damage which would be seriously looked into because take the responsibility they're grown men. First off... they showed up 2 hours late. The minute they walked into the garage they started complaining about a refrigerator in there. Then inside the house they complained about things not being wrapped. They say all wood has to be covered, which most of our furniture was wrapped, a few things weren't so they sent over a release for us to sign which would absolve them from ANY responsibility should anything get damaged. supposedly they have insurance, but if you sign a release they can treat your things any way they want and there's nothing you can do about it. Plus they quote one thing in the phone but when they get here it's twice the time you were quoted. NEVER USE THIESE PEOPLE!!! We fired them before they moved anything. Beware! Refusal to accept responsibility! My experience: On Saturday 5/9 we hired Two Men and a Truck to move us into our new home. The movers were nice and friendly and did their best, however one of them busted the valves to the washing machine upstairs. They shut off the water to the home, but only informed me that problem was solved and I needed a cap. An hour later when we went to leave to the new home, I saw water dripping continuously from the ceiling in the garage and had to call emergency plumbing repair. The movers had already left. I called Two Men and a Truck more than 5 times and they did not answer the phone. Finally, Edwin answered and stated, "they don't cover plumbing damage" Their mover admitted he cranked too hard and busted the valve. The mover never asked for assistance from us. He made the negligent decision to keep cranking on the valve. Mind you we have had a soft water loop since the day the home was built 7 years ago. After the plumber arrived, he took video of the damage, pictures, and provided invoices proving negligence on the mover's part and that all plumbing in the home was in great working condition up to this incident. After the plumber secured the leak, we had the plumber return Monday for the valve replacement to save money. We still have to pay for the drywaller who comes this Friday. Total cost of moving: $1,065 Total cost of damage to our home caused by Two Men and a Truck: $630. Edwiin,Two Men and Truck manager, refused to take responsibility and even charged us for the hour that the movers sat waiting for me to arrive to the new home because I had to meet the plumber to fix the damage caused to our home. This is our firsttime hiring movers and I wish I would have read a post like this to avoid this nightmare! I strongly suggest to NOT USE THIS COMPANY! read more

Great experience with our move yesterday with 2 trucks and 4 loaders from this location; Izeke, Charles, Todd, and James. They worked as a team, had a great attitude, were on time, and took great care with our possessions and home. They emptied 4 large storage compartments that filled a 4500 sq ft home and completed the job in about 7 hours. Such a better experience than what we had putting things in storage with Bekins. There was a lot of complaining and turmoil from Bekins between the loaders and sales for Bekins that came out on the job. A lot more went wrong with Bekins but review is not about them. Two Men and a Truck Peoria did a great job for us. If you have a large move I believe 4 men and 2 trucks is more than twice as efficient as a single crew. There was constant flow on our move with one organizing the truck while one delivers the possessions. Outside of the truck the same teamwork was happening simultaneously. read more

I can't say enough about this great company and crew! We had the dream move and the dream team!! Two Men and a Truck from Peoria, AZ was the ONLY company to promise us a flat rate for shipping and not a possibility that we might be up charged for extra items, extra time, extra anything, other than packing materials which was completely fair. We also had a one day delay from move out to move in, and there was no extra charge for using the truck for that extra day. Nicole came to the house and gave our quote, and patiently and with certainty, answered my many, many questions/clarifications, etc. both in person and by phone, prior to choosing this company for our move. My mom is an elderly lady who was moving out of her large family home in Arizona into a much smaller room in assisted living in a different state. Our crew of Izeke, Ronnie, and Brody were absolutely fantastic!!! Very patient with my elderly mother and me, the overworked/stressed daughter in charge of everything. This was a very complicated move going to four different locations in the new city and considerations for shipping extra boxes to various people from storage at a later date. Somehow the crew kept track of everything including all the names of all the various people that all the various things were getting shipped to!! Throughout the move out which took about 12 hours they kept asking if there was anything more that mom wanted to take, anything else that they could do--so patient, so wonderful! At the end of the evening when I was presented with paperwork which clarified everything was just as I had been promised, I knew that I had picked the right company!! On the move in, Izeke and Ronnie were also with us--great to have the same people at both ends--other companies would have hired local workers who did not know us for the move-in. We built relationships and became "family." Needless to say, we tipped them well, and they deserved it!! Moving is always stressful and we've all heard or had terrible stories about difficult moves and moving companies. He didn't adjust his brace and continue unloading anything. He sat in the back of the truck until the unloading was complete. If he was already having issues than an employee who was capable of completing what was ultimately a very small moving job should have been sent in his place. The entire process was disorganized and time management seemed completely non existent . Time was wasted in initial set up because they attempted to back the truck into a driveway that was clearly too steep to accommodate the truck dimensions. The loading process didn't even begin until a minimum of twenty minutes had passed. Whether or not this is the norm of how the company operates it is regardless entirely unacceptable. read more

We sold our house and closed escrow on our new house with 2 weeks in between. This company was great! They moved our furniture and belongings into a storage unit, then 2 weeks later came back and moved our belongings from the storage facility to the new home! We had4 guys and 2 trucks. They did an awesome job. They had great attitudes and worked very hard. Our second move was during a heat advisory of about 117 degrees. The movers were stellar. I can say they are unqualified because I moved what I paid them almost 500$ to do with the help of a friend. Very disappointed. Moving from one location to another, one chair disappeared. I don't think they "stole" it, who would want a used lazy boy rocker? The chair can't just have disappeared! They were moving my Grandmother from an upscale, apartment-style independent living, gated retirement community, so they had to park the truck on the side and bring items down a service elevator. I think during one of their several "smoke breaks" they just set it to the side and then forgot to put it in the truck and drove off! Who knows what happened to it? All I know is that they took over an hour and a half to drive the 20 minutes to the next location (of course we are paying by the hour) and then had the nerve to ask for my cash "appreciation" before they left. I felt very uncomfortable as they were standing in my entry way. I had no cash on me, but wrote them a $100 check. This was in addition to the $800 + move on the credit card. I've called and called the office and given them the opportunity to do something to fix it, but they've just given me b.s. I don't expect a brand new chair, but now I have only one of a two piece occasional chair set! I may not be able to get my $100 "appreciation" tip back, but we will be disputing the moving charge with the credit card company. read more

Management/ownership doesn't care about customers. Drivers/movers were on time and did a good job. However, there was conflicting information between between what was verbally quoted (during reservation call and confirmation call day before) and what is in fine print. When asked following the service, management was argumentative and rude and would only refer to what was in fine print at bottom of confirmation email. read more
