I had mover Gerardo Galicia and manager Oscar Gonzalez come out to help me unload and wow, they did an amazing job!! I was concerned about a heavy dresser going upstairs but the men did it with ease! They got the job done so quickly and I love how they only charge in 15 minute increments after the first initial hour! Most companies have a 3 hour minimum! Impressive customer service. I scheduled a local move with 2 Men and a Truck and they were Johnny-on-the-spot with their replies to my every text message. Warm and polite. And they were able to accommodate a last-minute move. They were unable, however, to accommodate a few complications about my move so I had to cancel. However, I was impressed by their candor. They won't try to sell you if you're not the right fit. I'd say 2 Men is ideal (and affordable) for a standard local move. Wish mine wasn't a challenging one but it is. I will have to spend a lot more $ to hire a sophisticated service provider. But I give a thumbs up to these guys! read more

I hired these scam artists on a Saturday 8-10. The took a $100 deposit. Movers arrived late, after 10, and I was not home when they finally arrived. They kept my deposit. Hire a vagrant for $40 and don't give these punks the satisfaction. I will hire a few Hell's Angels to move my stuff. At least they have respect and basic human decency. read more

They moved me almost a month ago. They still have not gotten back to me on all of the damage. One expensive coffee table was completely destroyed. They don't answer the phone. I called to book my movers and I was told the the morning of the day I needed was available. I booked it and paid the deposit. I then received a call an hour later that it wasn't available but they had other days available. My moving date was not flexible so I cancelled. The next day I had the deposit charge on my credit card. I called to have them reverse the charge and was told it was cancelled so it would be removed. 4 days later the charge was still there so I called again. I was then told it was never cancelled. DO NOT USE Over the past 10 years I've done international and cross county moves. I hired these jokers for a 36 mile IN-State move, what a mistake! The estimate (2 bedroom home, 100 medium and small boxes) I was given was $1100: 5.5 hours @ $180/hr. No stairs to climb on either end. I paid $360 as a deposit. What they don't tell you about on the phone is the "travel charge" - in my case $270 - "to get to your location" and the $100 breakage insurance, which I declined. Since this was a short move, I took most of the breakable and odd-size items myself, ahead of time, leaving 65 boxes (not 100). The three men arrived nearly an hour late. They reviewed the contract which is when I learned about the travel charge and insurance. They took their time wrapping up SOME of the furniture. 2 hours later, everything was on the truck. I drove the 30 min to the new place. An hour later, they showed up, put the furniture in rooms, dumped all boxes (many heavy) in the garage (although they were all labeled), asked for a tip and left. 3 hours of actual work. 30 minutes of driving from old to new place. I was charged an additional $730 and left with damage and boxes to move into the house myself. They gouged my dining room tabletop (apparently they didn't wrap it), damaged the corners of my bookcase (not wrapped), and poked a hole in my BBQ cover (no wrap). This was more damage than all my previous long-distance moves combined. Trying to get ahold of anyone to discuss my concerns was a joke. I left multiple messages, and only after filing a fraud report with BBB and the AG office did some "manager" call me back. "It's all in the contract." was his response. Never again! read more

The experience I had with the moving team was stellar. These guys were very courteous and respectful. They wanted to make sure we had a great experience. They asked what needed to be moved, wrap things so it would get broken, and was very expedient. When packed they had me walk through the house to make sure that they had everything to be moved. Once at the new house they put everything where we wanted it put. Before they left they asked if we wanted anything moved to a different location or exactly where we wanted it. I gave the movers several pieces that totaled over 1,000.00 plus I paid whatever their ungodly rate because they were so slow . DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE! Oscar (the manager) removed my tag from my unit THE NIGHT BEFORE WHEN I WAS NOT PRESENT to "check for any damage" which is 100% against what they are supposed to do. The whole reason for a tag is so the customer has confidence their unit was not rummaged through in their absence because *gasp* the unit is supposed to be tagged when it arrives at the destination it is to be unloaded at. Incompetence and/or dishonesty at its finest. Luckily I had the foresight not to put anything valuable at the back of my unit in the event somebody did exactly this otherwise it would be gone. I only had one time slot that would work for using Two Men & A Truck and they worked with me to make it happen. Orlando & Jeff showed up on time and did a great job of listening to my very specific instructions related to the 3 buildings we needed to pack up. They even used my schematic and marked EVERY SINGLE BOX the way I asked! When we got to the storage unit these guys put my four categories of boxes in the four corners of the unit so I can easily get in there and go straight to the right area to search for "the thing" whatever "the thing" happens to be. That was nice! Finally - and most importantly - they did not milk the clock. Andrew D. and Alfred S could not have been better, they took great care of our stuff. They would run back (when empty) to the unit and the truck. I could not find any damage to our goods or the condo. Everything ran smooth and where able to do the move in less time then the estimate. I hired two men and a truck to move two of my Priest from one house in surprise Arizona to another house in Sun City West Arizona this is about a 15 minute drive. I was quoted $400 to $600 with a start time from 10am to 12pm. The truck showed up at just after 3 o'clock and I was told they were late because their previous move Went over on time. I needed this move to happen that day so it's too late to call anyone else. The movers finished at 11:30 that night the manager call me on Tuesday and offered me a half hour credit for being six hours late and said that's the best he could do I give two men and a truck one star because I can't go lower. The final bill was just over $900 And they did not get everything. read more

Parents used these guys in the past and recommended them to us. When I called for a quote I decided I would not be using them. First off the guy on the phone was rude and complained that i wanted to move friday morning, he stated its going to be hot that day so i should aim for sat. instead and earlier(I wanted 8:30a.m.). I mean its Arizona, its hot every day! When he finally gave me the quote I was shocked. They wanted $750 to move a 10x10 storage and 1 bedroom. He claimed it would take them 6 hrs to do... When we originally moved all our stuff in the storage shed and into the in-laws spare room we did it ourselves in 3.5! Also don't let their good facebook ratings fool you. I left a review on there as well and it was deleted by them within a few hrs. Do yourself a favor and get someone else to move you. read more

The Two employees sent to move furniture Weren't too bad they only managed to ruin one chaise lounge. Unfortunately the packing was a disaster everything from damaged property found after unboxing to leaving many articles behind in cabinets for me to find later on that day and much much more. I called company to express my frustration and was told I would receive a call back regarding my concerns, As expected I never received a call from anyone or email. I used these guys last Oct with no problem. So I decided to use them again in April of this year. They move went just fine, they were efficient and on time. Everything went great til we got to the new house and the driver (who could barely speak english) said "You help me I'll help you -$350" The move rate I was quoted was $240 for 2hrs. This guy was apparently trying to get a big tip out of me. So they moved me in and when I called their supervisor, he acted as if he didn't care. Don't ever use these guys-they rip you off. Very disappointed in that they sent only 2 men and told us it would take 3 hours to pack us up. Ended up 6 hours and they would not get more men on the job to get it done in a reasonable time. Then they didn't document a compressor and generator and when finally researched it they said they didn't put it on the manifest therefore it wasn't taken from our home to the new home. Don't know how misplaced those kind of items. However, they unloaded the truck in AZ for storage before moving and then again in IN before loading and bringing to the new home 3 weeks later. Men that did the work said they should have been given more time and the foreman seemed upset with it all and showed it by complaining about the time numerous times to us. Then they increased the price by $2000, but didn't agree to that so it only went to $1300, still move was way over our budgeted amount, they didn't care. Horrible experience!!!!! I've used two men and a truck before so I never thought I would have such problems with them. Not only was one of the movers on his phone multiple times while on the clock of me paying him, he then claimed he "twisted" his knee and couldn't continue moving my furniture. Thsndukly my dad and husband was there to help the second mover finish the job, which at $110 an hour is ridiculous! Do not use this company! Unprofessional, poor attitude, poor work ethic, bad business practices! The guys would have us sign off on a piece of furniture citing a small scratch on it and proceed to gouge it several times during their handling of it. They also dented our stainless steel refrigerator several times squeezing it through an area too small for it to fit. When I pointed out that it was dented the guy said "Yeah, what do you want to do about it?". I asked him to file a damage report and he gave me a whole bunch of attitude. After he called his boss he came back in and said actually, we didn't do that. The supervisor came out to tell me the mover was accusing me of insurance fraud and though he admitted the damage matches up exactly to the height of the countertop they pushed it into they sent me an email a week later saying it was most likely caused by my own floor cleaning procedure some time in the past. What?! They also took 10 hours to move just the furniture in a two bedroom house! Ridiculous. These two guys were inept. What scam artists! read more

Interesting. I guess everyone has different experiences with this company. In my case I just needed to do a quick move as I had a deadline to move out and I was running out of time. I just needed all the big furniture moved using someone else's muscles and backbones. A friend suggested I rent a truck and spend a weekend doing it with his help - but when I did the math, it seemed worth it to pay a little more and leave the heavy lifting to someone else. The chiropractor bills alone would probably cost more than the service these guys provide. These guys give you a range of about an hour for when they'll show up. Luckily for me they showed up near the end of that range because I was still staging all the furniture near the entrance to help accelerate the whole process. The bulk of the time was taken up by the actual drive across town. Everything else was very quick and smooth. The two folks that did my move were VERY professional and quite obviously very experienced as they suggested things I didn't even consider to make the move go smoothly. The best part about it was that it was so quick and smooth I was able to go to work just an hour later than usual rather than having to take the whole day off just to do this. read more

As soon as they arrive to Orlando told me I had to sign a release and Casey damaged our building. I have never had to sign that in the past. My father hired these movers to come to his apartment, literally 15 mins from their Phoenix location. They were hired to move a tv stand, computer, desk and two coffe tables from the living room to the bed room. The whole process took 10 minutes. Arrival time 3pm leaving 3:10pm. He was charged $220. $110 for a trip charge and $110 for their "services". To me this is absolutely taking advantage of a disabled old man by over charging for ten minutes of work. I do not know if they have a flat rates for everything BUT for a 15 minute drive to do 10 minutes of moving in the same one besroom apartment is an absolute rip off. I dont know how anyone could morally charge that amount of money for such little effort and work. I think your company should serioualy rethink your ethical values on what you charge. An honest days pay for an honeat days work is clearly not the mentality of this company. You should be ashamed of yourselves for taking advantage of your customers. read more
