Which can be a problem on some level because you are limited to accessing your storage by their set business hours. So evening hours to access storage is off limits, as is early weekend mornings. ( other storage facilities allow access during off hours via an access code) That's why I gave it a 4 Star. Other than that, the building is very clean, air tight, organized, pleasant, safe and a top notch place to store your stuff. One other down side is that it's pricey, but you pay more for what you get as they say!

We got the first month free and then put the monthly charge on our credit card. The price for this was the best compared to others we called about. We got a code for the gate and could come and go fairly easy. They do lock it for the night for security reasons. This location is right next to North End Treats and the pool store. There is another location closer to the mall but we didn't go there to compare since we were so pleased at this place. I would highly recommend this spot. We also go a POD which was great since it came to the house and was taken away. However, you can't go in and out to get things like you can with the storage unit. Both have pros and cons.

To make matters worse, I was quoted a higher price for the same size unit than what was advertised on the website, and I was told that no written or formal confirmation of the total price was available. Because of the poor customer service and lack of transparency, I decided not to move forward. I went back and forth trying to figure it out. The home page has pictures of ACTUAL STORAGE UNITS. I finally called. And guess what. THEY DO NOT HAVE STORAGE UNITS. This is very misleading. And some of the reviews are for units. What gives? I am more than annoyed. 20 minutes I will never get back.

Beacon St in Brighton) only had one. I didn't even know this was an option until I clicked on "locate nearby" and Watertown Self Storage popped up. Not only did they have what I needed (and picked up 30 minutes later) but to avoid the craziness at the N. Beacon St location is a relief. Watertown Self Storage is clean, organized and new; U-Haul is old, dirty and a hot mess. The 9 foot cargo van is also available for pick up here (and can be picked up during off hours!!!) and I have a tentative reservation for that later this month as well. They didn't have any discounts to offer, but the value of the spaces I rented was well worth it. I had also rented U-Haul trucks when they used to have them. They don't have them anymore, but my experience with their trucks was seamless and easy. I was able to get all my stuff moved in and the truck returned in one day. This Storage Facility is the best one I have ever been the customer of.

The building was secure and there were cameras everywhere. Driving around it and parking were easy, and the units are relatively easy to find. The GM, Laura, gave me a tour and helped me pick the right size unit for me (a smaller one). Laura also made sure I had no trouble getting in the building with my personal security code. Signing the agreement was quick and easy and Laura was patient and knowledgeable, answering all my questions. I'll update this again after my lease term is up, but I don't anticipate any problems based on what I saw.
