It is really the only store conveniently located for the nearby residents. It is near my place of employment, but I have only stopped in a few times. Staff is always friendly. The store has been clean the few times that I've been in. There can be some shady looking characters loitering around. Homeless seem to gravitate towards it too. El Cajon PD seems to make their presence known though. It is always busy when I drive by on my way to work in the morning. They probably have good coffee! No gas at this location.

Well after an old nasty cracked out hag SCREAMED at me for getting condiments, I learned. Why was I--a customer--getting condiments?? Because they were not out there where they were supposed to be and I couldn't ask for them because there were children screaming, dogs barking, employees standing around gabbing and not doing their jobs annnd I--A FORMER 7-ELEVEN EMPLOYEE--knew how to do it FOR you.. so I did. So this crazy person at the register comes SCREAMING ACROSS THE STORE AT ME TO NOT OPEN THINGS AND STAY OUT OF HER CABINETS. SHE THEN INFORMS US THAT THE CONDIMENTS ARE UP FRONT AND I COULD ASK. HOW was I supposed to know that? There were no signs STATING what she said, no, bc that would be LOGICAL, INTELLIGENT. I CALMLY tell her I didn't appreciate her screaming at me and she says she "didn't" scream at me and she "COULD scream at me if I wanted." I told her she should put up a sign stating where the condiments are bc how was I supposed to know where they were? She starts screaming at me some more and I stopped listening; all I know is that she was calling ME a b**** in FRONT OF CHILDREN AND OTHER CUSTOMERS as I walked out the door. The place is disgusting. It's filthy. The people who run it are pigs. If I'd ever run the store I worked at the way this thing runs this store, I'd have been fired ON the spot. I can't even imagine treating customers the way I was treated today. Trust me, I'm on a lower societal rung than you, don't treat ME this way bc you're too lazy to put out condiments or at least DIRECT US WHERE TO GET THEM WITHOUT VERBAL ABUSE and are too much of a coward to call out the Karen with the dog in the store or the other Karen with shrieking kids standing in the middle of everything. The employee named Nathan (who claimed to be the owner) locked the pump for no reason. When my husband went inside to ask for help, he told him to leave and refused to sell us gas. When we tried another pump outside, he followed my husband out, yelling aggressively and using foul language. My car was on empty, and we were simply trying to fill up. This was extremely rude and unprofessional behavior. The way he treated us was completely unacceptable. Definitely will not be returning to this location.
