I came here on a Friday around 11:45 a.m. I made a reservation through OpenTable, but there was…read moreplenty of seating available, so I don't think walk-ins would be an issue. Valet parking is complimentary, and there isn't any self-parking. When I checked in with the hostess, she gave me the option of sitting in the front outdoor patio or the back patio. I chose the back, and I'm so glad I did because the view is absolutely beautiful. I also had my dog with me, and they were incredibly dog friendly. They brought her a dog bed and a surprisingly extensive dog menu with some really great options. We ordered: *Lobster Tacos : Three generously filled tacos served with salsa and guacamole. They were absolutely delicious and loaded with lobster, topped with fresh avocado. *Rancho Burger: Easily one of the best burgers I've had. It was cooked perfectly, and we added Swiss cheese. They even cut it in half for my friend and me to share. The fries were fantastic too, crispy and somewhere between steak fries and thin-cut fries. *Shepherd's Pie (Dog Menu) : The menu listed it with beef, but they accidentally brought out the chicken version. Since my dog is allergic to chicken, they immediately apologized, took it back, and made a fresh beef version. The customer service was excellent, and my dog absolutely devoured it. The portion was generous, and it looked fresh enough for a human to eat. The service was phenomenal from start to finish. Our food arrived in less than 20 minutes, the views were stunning, and the menu had so many tempting options that I'll definitely be back to try more. Overall, this was a fabulous lunch, and I highly recommend it.

Their food quality is also very good. Of the several times we've been, we've struggled with food temperature not being warm enough about half the time. Servers are kind, but can be inconsistent. Again I would say half of our visits we've felt forgotten. My biggest irritation was during our latest visit, in which families with children were seated next to us not once, but twice. This was disturbing because on the booth side of the table where my mom and I sat, we felt the movement of squirmy children from the table next to us. Highly recommend more attention to table selection by the host staff. Given the classiness of this place, I find it silly that I'd have to go out of my way to ask for hot food and to be seated only around adults. We will be taking The Pony Room out of our rotation for a while.

They also have plenty of seating here, including outdoor patio, at the bar and a couple of different dining room areas in the main restaurant. I wanted a traditional carnitas plate which is not on the menu. However, if you ask the server, they will order a carnitas burrito deconstructed which is actually exactly what I consider a carnitas plate. A nice portion of tender lean pork, guacamole, rice and beans, salsa fresca and some sauteed onions. Very tasty and filling. I also decided to start with the queso fundido appetizer which was good but all in all it was too much food!

The food absolutely held up. I ordered a decently sized steak and it was genuinely delicious. Well cooked, flavorful, and satisfying. The menu leans into classic, Italian-leaning comfort food, and it does that lane well. The owner was present during our visit and was very kind and welcoming, which deserves real kudos. The staff was also attentive and on top of things throughout the meal. Service was not an issue at all. Where this stops short of five stars for me is the indoor dining experience. Even with a reservation, the seating felt very tight. Close enough that I could hear every single detail of the conversation happening at the table next to us. No judgment on them, but I did not need to be spiritually invited into their dinner party. Because it was a cool evening, outdoor seating wasn't really an option, which made the cramped indoor space more noticeable. This might be something to keep in mind during colder months. I could see this place being much more enjoyable when the patio is in play. That said, I did enjoy myself, and I'm not disappointed. I just think the combination of price point, cozy-but-tight seating, and comfort-food-forward menu didn't quite push it into five-star territory for me. And to be fair, I'm generally stingy with five stars. Four stars feels right. Beautiful space, kind ownership, attentive staff, and good food. Just go in with calibrated expectations and a tolerance for close quarters.

It was a perfect mix of quiet in the main room and sports on the patio and bar. We could talk and eat while having the ability to watch one of many screens. Our server was named Dennis. He was absolute perfection. We had to ask his name so we could remember him for our next visit. Each drink and dish he suggested was a home run! I tried a "MINIMAL CONSEQUENCES" drink. It was a non alcoholic delight!! JUICY WATERMELON SPRITZ fresh pressed lemon, smashed watermelon, sparkling coconut water - yummy!!! I will get it again for sure!!! The tomato soup is SO Delicious!!! We were told it was good and it was beyond that. It was called listed as "better the next day", it would be perfection on any day, even cold! CRISPY CHICKEN KATSU sandwich was SO YUMMY!!! The japanese milk bread was beyond fresh! It had spicy miso aioli, napa slaw, hoisin with French fries. We split the soup and sandwich and it was still filling! Since it was my father's birthday we were treated to a mud pie.... I will not forget that pie any time soon. We will return and I am already telling friends. I don't really like the sausage since it was too salty in my opinion, but this tteok is actually kinda insane since it is just crispy enough on the outside and qq on the inside. The caramelized spicy/sweet sauce pairs quite well with the rice cake. This was maybe $5. Wings and Drums - 5/5 - I got the Yangnyeom and Spicy wings. I like how their wing/s drum's quality is consistent and they have this crispy skin and spicy sweet sauce with different level of spice (I think koreans like to add sweetness to most of their foods). I think Boncho is probably my top 3 fav kfc (korean fried chicken) spot. Overall Thoughts: Best Thing I ate: Everything here is pretty solid but the big drums is textually my favorite. Something to Improve: Make the sausage less salty there is plenty of flavor from the sauce alone but keep up the quality!

The outside patio was completely full and the bar had a number of people watching the World Cup. We were seated at a table inside and ordered the following: - Crispy cauliflower: this was the absolute winner for me. It was perfectly roasted. The romesco sauce and capers added a nice salty and umami profile. - Bruschetta board: we got the Brie/apple/fig, boquerones, warm artichoke spread, and prosciutto/fig/marscapone. I liked them all, but the artichoke spread was the standout. - Chef's charcuterie: standard, but nothing mind blowing. Service was excellent: as soon as we were seated by a giant open window, I felt a bit chilly. Even before I said anything, they asked us if we wanted it closed; very considerate. Food came out quickly, and the servers refilled our drinks often. It's a nice place for a little snack break. I still prefer Nick's across the way for an actual meal.
