It's really nice and fun if you're planning a birthday party. Because of the age of the kids they didn't use airsoft, but they were able to use Nerf guns which was still very fun for the boys. Today went there for an event for Veterans and first responders and great turnout. Great people who worked there and run the place. Booked an event for my daughters 8th birthday and everyone had a blast! Highly recommended for a fun time. You will have the whole arena from 10-12 for your private event. They offer a room for food and entertaining right off the side which was a very spacious. The kids had a blast with the nerf guns, which they supply or you can bring your own in. They offer lots breaks in between the games so you are freshly hydrated and have time for food and cake. The arena is so large that there was endless hiding spaces for a fun hunt. Adults are allowe led to participate and help the younger kiddos. The staff was extremely helpful and supportive through the whole process and was there to answer and questions. Really good store and knowledgeable about repairing. Love the store. The play field is ok. They don't start games at the designated started time. If a session starts at 5 don't expect the first game to start till 5:30/45. It takes too long for games to get going. Not enough refs actively engaging and enforcing the rules. The refs tend to hide during play. Some of the refs have attitudes and favorites and aren't very nice to the ones they don't like. Been multiple times and just can't get past that. There are other good playing fields in the area they have competition now. I hope they better themselves because this could be a great field with a good playing experience and environment. read more

I have been playing airsoft for about the past 6 or 7 years, the first five or so were in the woods near my house or friends houses. I only recently got back into it and i have played at one of their competitors fields. Let me tell you what a 180 that was, the other field was a 18'x18' room where you just sit behind cover and get shot at for 10 minutes at a time. You walk into extreme and any of the wonderful staff members will quickly greet you and will come help you with whatever you need. They have a wide array of different styles of airsoft guns at varying price points so there is quite the selection. The rates for rentals are fairly reasonable plus you can get a few slices of pizza and a drink for only 5 dollars which is great. If you come self equipped its even cheaper and there is a fairly large staging area for you to put all of your stuff down and get your kit set up. The field, is surprisingly large in size and has a wide variety of mock buildings at varying heights. So you can get into a decent position overlooking key chokepoints. Some of the buildings have light switches in them that actually work which you can use to your advantage. There are a lot of angles to hold and dark corners to hide in if that's more your playstyle. The refs often switch up the game modes every match or 2 so it never gets dull. There are quite a few regulars that are always friendly and happy to help you out; whether its answering any questions you may have or giving you some tips and tricks to improve. Overall if i could give Extreme 6 stars I would, all of the staff are super friendly and helpful. I have never had a bad experience there. read more

This place is extremely awesome! People who play as well as the refs are extremely helpful and a lot of knowledgeable people work here! They recommended things that I actually needed as well as helped me with any problems for the first day going there. The way they are working with COVID is a little different with keeping people close but for a small staging phase it makes sense. This place is definitely the #1 place for indoor in the Rhode Island area and never would go anywhere else if I could for the moment! Use this place at your own risk though a lot of people go for headshots but it ain't bad if you have a full mask. read more

Walking in it was great. A lot of product and real clean with many things to look at. The intro and rules video were great. Missing a few safety things such as the use of flashlights with possible epileptic people. After the rules briefing witch was very clear, is when it all went south. First time playing at this facility but with many years of military training as well as paintball/airsoft experience, I was appalled by the utter disrespect for the rules. This particular day there was a group of mid 20s kids on a team in which they obviously play together. There was also a couple of 12 year old birthday parties. This team which I call "spray and pray" because they have no tactics, continued to use feathering and full auto on the opposing team , mostly kids, with myself and a few other adults. Even warned ,it continued and this was because the group was friends with the refs. To the point where the kids were almost in tears getting hit so much before they could even shout "hit"! They also ignored the blind fire rule while spraying the walls as they ran around the corners. At one point I cleared a room myself only to see one of my team allowing one of the other team to flank us. Then I realized they were the same guys on the "team" but got split up with a couple on ours. Frustrated, I did my part to eliminate all the "sprayers" I could effectively pissing them off to the point where they wouldnt even call hits. The only ones to control this behavior are the refs, but they didn't. If this is how it is on our first outing there we wont be back! As for the course, it was good but a bit dark. read more

The place has terrible staff that treat you terribly, I would not recommend, do not waste your time at this place.The arena is nice but the staff ruin it. Due to the staff there I have a helmet with huge dent in it. I have been to several other arenas and are much better than this place. Great Place. Great Fun. We had my son's 10th birthday party here last year and the fun experience was talked about for a year. Words can't express how anticipated his 11th birthday party was, which we had last month...My 16 year old invited some of her friends both times. Staff is extremely helpful and places safety first, requiring every player to watch a safety video before play, and attended to our needs during the entire 3 hours of our parties. They also gave my son a great deal on a pistol. They do provide full protective helmets with goggles, so your face is protected, but I recommend wearing a hoodie to protect the back of your neck, and gloves are a must to protect your hands. Wear loose clothing to avoid welts from close range hits, which are against the rules. I'd say half of us left with a couple of bb marks on our hands or legs but certainly nothing to whine about.
