It is a great a place, the airsoft atmosphere is great, the players and staff team are very helpful towards players. The extraordinary staff team helps the players, good with getting games going, and all of the game modes are fun. The food is amazing especially the burger and pizza. They helped me find my AirPods that left behind, letting me go on the field to retrace my steps. I eventually found them at the front desk. Overall it is one of the best airsoft places. read more

I was on the field and we were getting spawned camped, and everybody told the referee to do something about it and like the referee didn't do anything about it that's not even the worst part people were not calling their shots and they were doing full auto. The refs didn't do anything about that and we told him about that. He just didn't care and he ignored it probably one of the worst times I've been there. Completely unprofessional business, publicly humiliated myself and girlfriend. Battlegroundz hosted an open to the public event (vendor market) coordinated by an outside person and allowed for that person to utilize the business to publicly humiliate us. The person coordinating the event had a personal issue with our presence there (a non-violent, non-disruptive issue at that) and told Battlegroundz to have us removed. We were approached by two Battlegroundz security in a very public manner who informed us that our presence was not wanted and we needed to leave. We asked why and they responded "due to issues at the venue in the past". Neither of us had been to the venue before, which we informed, to which they responded "don't shoot the messenger" and again prompted us to leave. We left without issue but were followed with more humiliation as the two security followed us closely behind to ensure we left, despite us not giving any sign that we were going to resist or even just allowing us to leave with some dignity while they visually watched rather than walking us to the door as if we had done some sort of action that warranted the response. If the business wanted to honor the request of the person coordinating the event, it could have been handled in a much different way, avoidant of any sort of humiliation or public shaming. I called Battlegroundz to speak to management about how it was handled, they continued to state the coordinator of the event, who is not an employee of the business, did not want our presence, to which I reminded that the way they handled this reflects on their business, no matter what that person desired. They refused to offer any sort of understanding of how that made us feel or acknowledgment of how it could be handled differently. If your operating a business you need to actually operate it like a business. Treat people respectfully, especially those who are treating your business respectfully. There was no signs that this was a "private event", doors of the business were wide open and inviting, so to be disrespected and humiliated for showing up to your business due to someone you are affiliated with completely baffles me. read more

Great field, good food area, laser tag is fun. They keep it all clean. A couple complaints. One guy leaf blows while we are sitting in staging area and it's gross cause dirt goes in the air. They don't play enough game theme modes. They need more. Some other players get out of control but the refs kick them out immediately. One player threatened me for hitting him and then full autoed me. Then cried that he was getting kicked out and I wasn't. It's because you switched your gun to full auto in front of the ref. The refs enforce the rules here which I like and is why I will be back and recommend this field. read more

I bought a groupon and read all of the fine print only to be told I had to make a reservation 24 hrs in advance to use it. They claimed it was their groupon policy yet that wasn't listed anywhere with groupon. Made a reservation for 4 kids for 1 pm anyway, got there and was told if we waited a session ("about 15 min" according to the kid at the supplies desk) the kids could play alone and not part of another group. It was over an hr before they started to play and then the kids were grouped with a bunch of adults! Even if we didn't wait it would have been 30 min after our reservation time before they started they paint ball game. read more

Four of us came here yesterday on a rainy cold day. It was busy but not packed. We purchased the pop junior package, this included unlimited laser tag, dart wars, and splat wars for $20 for four hours. There were at least 2 attendants in each attraction locations. This was helpful when there were smaller children. They offered assistance and guidance. There was no more than a 10 minute wait for each game. They have tons of laser tag vests and can accommodate up to at least 25 players and four different teams. I thought it was quite a bargain. I had way more fun than anticipated. read more

I went there with a friend having never been before. We got our ammo and went to the back to get our safety vests and goggles. There were people in full tactical looking gear with confederate flag patches and take German police vests. The guy behind the counter warned us that one of the refs was being disrespectful to guests when I pressed him he said he was getting into people's faces and swearing at them. We decided that the whole place was giving us a very bad feeling and decided not to participate. We asked for a refund and the manager said no. After we explained why he said he couldn't work there credit card machine to give a refund if he wanted to because it was too new to him. I was going to write them personally, but they don't have an email address. The manager gave us credit to the arcade, but we are interested in going back to that place. read more

The staff was very rude. We went for my little brothers birthday and they made us wait twice to play Gel Blasters. We waited 30 minutes just for them to make us wait again for a birthday party yet we had already been in line waiting. They gave us all of our gear and told us to put it on then told us to take it off cause we had to wait. I personally would not recommend anyone goes there for now, they have hired 2 new staff members who I have not seen once in my 8 months of going here who were completely and utterly disrespectful towards me and the group I came with. I wish I had their names but I am for sure making sure they are not working when I go. I came with a group of 3 and hadn't been on a team with 1 of my friends the whole session we have been there (4 games) I asked to be on his team and ref 1 said "that's too bad" and ref #2 said "if you ask to be on his team you aren't going to be put on his team" so in response I said "well I haven't been asking and I haven't been put on his team so that doesn't make sense" and in response ref #2 said "I don't recall asking" in the most cocky and arrogant way imaginable and they both began laughing and being snobby towards me, the game is starting I shrug it off, we get into the game, a few minutes in a ref goes to red spawn to help a new player with his gun issue, as he was leaving spawn he didn't announce "ref leaving spawn" or even held his hand up, as this happened my friend thought he was a player and shot 3 bbs at him (only 2 actually hitting the ref) and even apologized after he realized it wasn't a player AND when the ref came close to him. The ref then told my friend "I'm not mad about it, you're all good" but then proceeded to tell management (or the head refs) that my friend shot him 6 times. ONTOP of that the other ref (#2) then proceeded to lie and say my friend shoulder checked him when we have the whole game on footage and that never happened. They also did not have balanced teams at all which made it a unfun experience for most players. When we first started and the refs weren't working at the time there were around 20 players. I kid you not the game after their shifts started the players dwindled down to 9 and this was at 7 pm the session started at 5 and ends at 10 and I've never seen so many people leave in such a short amount of time. So as I first stated I do not recommend going to BattlegroundZ until those refs are fired or aren't working. TL:DR. New refs made the teams unbalanced and had a power trip and got us kicked out for no reason. read more

Despite being short a staff member or two, my 10 and 13 yr old boys had a blast at our first time at Battlegroundz! One attendant handled the desk, phone, laser tag, wrist bands, and more with efficiency, enthusiasm, courtesy, and admirable calmness while supervising the kids. The second attendant ran the dodgeball and nerf rooms for lots of high energy/happy kids. I'd give 5 stars, except that while the website had stated that the summer season had begun on the 19th, there were not enough staff members present to open all the kid-friendly rooms, including Splatball, which is what my kids had been most excited about. However, the two attendants who were there handled the issue professionally, and I witnessed joyful children who were encouraged to be team players with their own groups and while making friends with others. Extremely disappointed by their business. Got their $35 bundle for 2 hours even though I knew I'd stay for only 1. Was hoping to get 4-5 games in that hour and instead we got 2 games in because they are so understaffed. My first game was at 3:10, second started at 3:45. Asked them for like a chance to just pay for those two games and have gift certificate or something for next time and they weren't understanding or cared at all. Greedy to keep my $35 per person but I would have went back here a lot more often if this first time experience with them wasn't absolutely garbage. Also. Their bows aren't even set up correctly. You're supposed to have 1 finger above and 2 below and corresponding cushions or whatever for your fingers. Some bows had 2 top 1 bottom and when I mentioned it, they just said yeah some bows are weird. read more

A great place to entertain teenagers. What kind of ruined our fun was a broken lazer tag vest another patron was wearing. The vest's front sensors were busted so he was a difficult target. What sucked too was he knew and completely took advantage of it. We recognized the issue during game play and let the staff member know afterwards that it was broken. The staff member didn't seem too concerned. Paintball is very clean, the balls don't burst. I did not play but was a spectator while my husband and nephew played. I saw multiple people go to the ref with jammed guns. It looked like it ruined the flow of the game. My understanding is that better maintenance would prevent that issue. For the amount you pay ($15 for 3 rounds of lazer tag per person, $20 for 3 rounds of paint ball per person) you would think they would make enough to maintain their equipment. read more

The number 1 thing that has been destroyed is really amazing customer service since Covid hit. Businesses struggle to find top quality employees specially those paying minimum wage. You've seen longer lines at fast food joints where you wait 25-30 minutes for a cold burger and soggy fires and you're missing several items. Well BattlegroundZ seems to have top quality customer service. Today was my second time taking my son there. There was a manger and a worker bee there manning the business. Both of these gentlemen were beyond knowledgeable with Air soft equipment. I'm prior service in combat arms. I know my way around weapons and tactics. This was only my second time trying out Air Soft so of course I had all the wrong gear. I brought with me some goggles for snowboarding for myself and 10 year old son. The employee behind the counter spotted us before we lost an eye ball. This gentleman really saved the day. There was no judgement or making fun of us for being total noobs. He gave us a brief safety class on the proper gear. I haven't purchased gear and weapons yet for my son and I yet but I plan to in the next week or so. After hanging out with the manger with glasses and I think the guys name is Joshua.. im planning to drop $3000. These guys are in the right field and I so wish they both could get a commission off my shopping spree. I wouldn't spend nearly that much if it weren't for these two. Also I've been hearing all about this other place Extreme in North Kingston. I really could care less about trying that. BattlegroundZ has it all. Their staff and how amazing their customer service is, makes me so motivated to come back. My son and I tried out the gel orb tag thing which is perfect for 7 year olds and up. Doesn't really hurt much getting hit and my son at 10 is now hooked, as am I. This will definitely be the spot for his next Bday party. Their air soft course is amazing too! There's plenty of structural things you enter or hide behind along with Some cars. We had like 50 players and it was sooo well done I can't wait to get my gear and go back. Their rental costs are beyond fair and reasonable too. They give you a M4 Carbine, plenty of rounds, a vest and face mask. It only cost my son and I with rentals like $100 bucks for 3 rounds. The entire environment was amazing. Everyone there was so damn cool and welcoming. People gave us free magazines. As someone who has seen his share of real combat this place is a perfect outlet for veterans. It's really so much better than paint ball. I'm so excited to go back... it's so nice to finally find my hobby and place a 41 year old can go let off steam and exercise. read more

I definitely would NOT recommend this place. I was considering coming here to play airsoft and so I figured I would check out their "pro shop". I ended up purchasing a battery and charger. After realizing I had purchased the wrong ones, And needing a different type which BattlegroundZ didn't carry, I went back the next day and spoke with the same manager who sold me the merchandise the previous day. Rather than providing the customary service that most establishments offer and allowing me to return the products, I was instead met with "all sales are final" and he refused anything other than store credit. After looking at the value of the products as I now had to resort to selling on ebay, I realized they charged me $87 for products that sell BRAND NEW for a whopping $42. These people are clearly shady and I would def think twice before giving them your money. read more

Got kicked out for taking my protective mask off when everybody had no gun and I was about to leave the arena a couple steps away from the door, staff yelled at us like we were dogs and when I was kicked out I was not told at first the reason why, they just told me to give my stuff to them and payed $40 to play 4 matches of paintball, when I went to see if I could get some money back they said it was not refundable and didn't give me warnings before I was kicked out. Expectation, thy name is disappointment. I had a lot of high hopes for a place that does laser tag and arcades. However, the DDR machine was very non-responsive, which was incredibly disappointing since I was rusty after not rocking out to flashing arrows and the E rating just rubs additional salt in the wound. When I took my friends to the laser tag, I was expecting fancy equipments, lifebars, actual laserguns that look like futuristic weapons. Instead, our weapons looked like price-scanners and our uniforms were kind of disappointing; the actual arena was small and not too many elevations to snipe your opponents or camp out to target their base. Sigh, while we ended up having a lot of fun, I still wish there could be more. read more

This review is for Laser Tag offered at Battlegroundz. I took a group here for my 31st birthday - seeking to recapture my youth (one in which i never really played laser tag). Having driven by this building many times, i suspected that it was a converted school, and that proved to be the case as we checked out the interior. While waiting several folks checked out the arcade. Our group was mixed in with kids aging from 7 to 12, and on the whole they turned out to be much better at laser tag than the 'adults'. But everyone had a great time - overall it's an outstanding place to spend an afternoon. We played 3 games and the employees mixed up the teams and formats to keep everything interesting. Pro tip - the laser tag area is actually two 'rooms' separated but a fairly small passageway (a great place to snip other players) - several players didn't realize this until the second or third game. read more

We dropped in here with a crowd of six yesterday for a bachelor party. Our original venue for indoor paintball in Nashua went out of business a week before the event, and so this was a last minute choice for us. Everything wound up working out for the better. We dropped in around 3:30 on a Thursday, and pretty much had the run of the place. $20 each got us five games (10 to 15 minutes apiece) with different objectives, officiated by one of the employees on hand. The arena was laid out pretty creatively, with two large rooms, and two or three go betweens with a lot of corners, crevices, and doorways. Bear in mind, we were originally headed for what essentially amounted to an open warehouse with a few inflatable obstacles in place. As a crowd comprised of first person shooter fans, we were quite pleased with this setup vs a round robin shoot to kill melee. Rental equipment seemed solid. $20 (the same $20 you pay for the five games) got you a gun, a padded vest, and a mask, as well as one hopper full of ammo per game (I think we had two runouts the entire time). Drinks were cheap, and needed after some intense gameplay. Bring some good friends, a little bit of money, and some clothes to sweat in, and I think you'll have a good time. Took a group of teenage girls for laser tag. The staff could not have been more accommodating. We arrived too late on a Friday night for the multi-game special (6 games for $13), but given the size of our group and that they were Girl Scouts, the staff graciously gave us the deal anyway. The girls really liked the laser tag area. The adults liked the fact that there was only one way in and one way out of the gaming area and we could sit back and wait for the girls to return. The location, in an old elementary school, feels edgy and urban in a good way. Since Attleboro is a bit more urban than many of its neighbors, the clientele was diverse, which was nice. I was a little worried when we arrived that the clientele might get a little rough as it got later, but that was not the case at all. Although young adults started arriving around 9:00, there was no rude behavior. We felt very safe the entire time we were there. My only complaint would be-- improve the snack bar. There were signs posted about "no outside food," but apparently you can order in pizza. We didn't know that and the girls had to make do with soda and ice cream. I suppose I should have checked first, but every place now seems to serve food, so I just assumed there would at least be pizza. Great overall experience. read more
