They know their stuff and give you lots of options and explain the difference between all of them. They were great and got me exactly what I wanted and it was done in just a couple hours. They also was able to add heated seats, I do love my heated seats. They installed everything in a very professional manner and took me out to my car and showed me how everything worked so I would know exactly and not set it off accidently. I have a disability and I could not get the three harness plugs off, they were well protected and had been in there seven years. I contacted a lot of businesses and all gave me different reasons why they could not do it. I contacted Max Speed and Sound, and they got me in the next morning, got me fixed up in about an hour. I sent the car back in and had them route it along the rear view mirror unit. Duh! They then brought the car back out and I realized I needed to do a more thorough review of their work. I got in the back of the Yukon and could see a large 1/2 hand size grease/dirt stain on the header. I then also noticed grease/dirt on the driver side A pillar just above the air bag area. I then went back into the store and told them at the desk I wasn't happy. They came out looked at it and agreed. They took it back into the shop and 15 minutes later it came back out cleaned. For the quality of the work I could have taken it over to Best Buy and had them do it. And for a lot less than the $200+ they charged me. Big mistake thinking they would do a more 'professional' job.

After a lot of research on the best place to take the car to for a full system upgrade while retaining the factory Ford Sync head unit all fingers seemed to be pointed at Independence Audio being the folks I could trust the vehicle with. There are a lot of electronics in these new vehicles these days, I wanted it done properly because it is a vehicle I have been doing a lot of mods to and plan on keeping for the long haul. I live almost 2 hours away down in the Ozarks but was willing to travel for quality and piece of mind. They were booked out a little while if course but what reputable place isn't, I didn't mind waiting. I dropped the car off for a few days and they replaced all the speakers, subwoofer and factory amp with JL Audio all the way around. Couldn't be happier with how clean the install was and the sound quality. You pop my hood or look inside the interior of the car you can't even tell these folks were in there other than the bass knob installed neatly in the console by my shifter. Pop the trunk and the subwoofer and amplifier are tucked neatly out of the way with room for cargo and access to the spare tire and jack. 100% worth every penny. Chris Stroud was my rep and was very smooth and informative to work with from the first phone call to my back and forth with questions and kept me updated through the entire process. Never gave me the feeling I was bothering them. My installer is a wizard and absolutely killed it!! Very professional, highly recommended!! A+++of

Paid for vehicle detail. Had to get home and fixes most of it. Were supposed to condition leather and they wiped down the front and left the rest amoral type splatter dots all over things inside and outside had water spots, part of tires and trim were wiped and part not, running boards not even touched and chrome grill not really even cleaned with stuck on bugs still and like they didn't touch it. It was late on a Friday, they were closing and I needed to get somewhere or would have made them fix it. Honestly should not have to even have as obvious as this stuff was.

I asked beforehand if they had issues with installing on Chevy's and they assured me they don't. My vehicle is under manufacturer warranty and had no issues prior. Well........ I'm back less than a week later to try to get it either fixed or removed and they want to install another one? Doesn't make much sense to me. Also the guys that actually work on the cars seem nice but the other staff are not friendly and don't greet or even acknowledge you as a customer. The owner was very rude and casual about the issue they created. I would not recommend this business at all. Very cold and uninviting environment and does not seem to value your business.
