My friend took the 15 minute class and said it was super informative and helpful. The boat has blue tooth speakers and plenty of space to put your stuff down. Our boat only came with 4 life vests so you may want to bring your own for the rest of the group of needed. Definitely dock at the sandbar for a bit to enjoy the shallow water and soft sand! The 4 hours flew by and we had a blast! My only feedback would be to put more signs showing were to park and where to check in as this was not as clear.

Fun songs, dad jokes told better, and I love to her say "Keep paddlin." Lori "Loves to SURF" . This is the best time in the Hudson. We spent several minutes in "Fluffy Box" and she even got the raft turned around!!! We also made it into Bus Stop and got in some good surf there as well. But wait - there's more! We went down Jiffy Pop Backwards!!!!! Bestest Ginger snaps and other super healthy lunch options too, washed down with yummy hibiscus pink tea. So - if you want the small company vibe that cares about you as a participant and partner, Square Eddy is the way to go.

In the short amount of time we spent with the owners, we got to know them and their friends very well. Linc was our guide and he was full of knowledge and information. He was also a tremendous guide as far as rafting is concerned. The lunch we all shared was homemade and delicious. The cookies we had were incredible. The fresh fruit was a nice touch too. In total there were 4 rafts and approximately 20 people. We didn't need to wait around for anyone and the entire operation felt smooth and well-planned. What's more is, I was "that lady" who brought a waterproof phone protector with a neck strap to take pictures with my family and friends. I was also "that lady" who took the neck strap off to avoid tan lines...needless to say, my phone went into the Hudson River without me realizing it! Ethan and his crew were so kind during my personal meltdown, mostly due to me kicking myself for being so careless. They had a group of 80 after us, but assured me they would all look out for it as they had an idea where I dropped it. We called every half hour in the hopes one of the other crews may have discovered the phone, and at 4:50, my husband's phone rang with the amazing news that the phone was found safely! All 3 of our guides looked and I cannot express how grateful I am to them all!! Personal tragedy aside, our entire group said the lazy river was the best part of our trip, and we have already recommended AAC to friends who are traveling to Lake George in the coming weeks! We purchased a 3-yr-old 27' boat (on a trailer) from a dealer in Gulf Shores, Al and selected…read moreJoseph to pull it from there to our home in San Diego, CA. The day after our sea trial we met Joseph for the hand-off and it was clear from the beginning that he was a pro. What we didn't know (since you couldn't tell from a quick visual inspection) was that the previous owner didn't take very good care of the trailer (faithful fresh water rinse after being in salt water). Within the fist 400 miles Joe had to replace 3 tires after the brakes overheated and blew the already dry rotten tires. In route, Joe kept me apprised, found replacement tires, changed them himself and even pulled the calipers on the front axel to keep them from overheating again. Every time we spoke he had a positive "no worries" attitude and kept on coming. We have a tricky maneuver to back the boat in it's new garage but Joe once again made it look easy. You just can't go wrong using Joseph to transport your precious cargo. And to top it off, he is a "believer". Praise God we made a new friend.

The shop is inside another shop called Boats by George so it's easy to miss. This was a very positive experience all the way around. Great shop, well staffed, excellent choice of boards, all new or in great shape. This sandy bay is perfect for paddle boarding as it's sheltered and an all-around beautiful place to paddle. He was extremely grumpy and snappy when I asked him if we would could paddle board at the boat entrance across the street. He was honestly miserable and it kind of put a damper on the experience. Other than that the girl that helped us was very nice and she gave us a quick run down on what to do because I had never been paddle boarding before. I'd probably go back to paddle at patty's again.
