The customer service is impeccable! Very knowledgeable staff. They taught me so much about Beta fish. I found this modern, sleek, glass tank, proper nutrition, and plants for a great price. This is THE PLACE for all aquatic needs!

So far I've bought fish from here 3 times. Today I bought a yellow goby. The guy who always helps me is very Helpful and kind, so far I've had no problems with anything. For the record I do quarantine my fish before they go in main tank.

    Full and happy tank!!!!

We love love love Heidi and staff here at extreme marine and their fish selection is really good and stocked up with healthy fish. Heidi also does our maintenance on our aquarium and keeps it looking immaculate... We highly recommend this place along with their knowledgeable staff who love to answer questions and don't make you feel like an idiot when asking being new to the saltwater game coming from a 6 yr lay-off Stop by and show this business some love and keep them busy..

Dying cardinalfish immediately when arriving home (after acclimating ofcourse)

Been coming here for nearly 15 years Staff has always been great and knowledgeable. Great selection fish and corals. Pricing is a bit high, they use to be more competitive when Tats and Dotty were in business. They have a $10 minimum charge of debit/credit cards. I purchased 2 Bangaii cardinalfish for $38 each. It was past 5:00 when I made my purchase. The clerk scooped up the first two fish that he could catch and put them in a bag. (My biggest mistake was to not check the fish before leaving) I felt rushed because I was there after hours. when I got home, 10 minutes later, I noticed one of the fish swimming weird. I immediately recorded it. I went to the store as soon as I could and showed Scott(owner) other fish is doing perfectly fine. His response was"I don't know what happens between here and the customers home" He didn't take responsibility for having his staff sell me a half dead fish. So I was basically screwed. I'll take my business elsewhere from now on.

This is the only local non-megastore with great service and if you are a serious hobbyist I highly recommend it. I just added two more tanks to my setup from Craigslist, a tiny Beta tank for fun, and a breeding tank for some of my love crazy tetras. And I spent all my money at EM to get the setup ready. Please support local business so we can keep our passion for fish going. I am a freshwater/planted tank person, so I like the selection they have of products that support my little ecosystem.

My poor fishy got ich from a fish that I bought from here

I used to love this fish store. I bought quite a lot of fish from there. Just last week I bought an $80 royal pleco. Although now I'm never going back. I have a 75 gallon tank and a 20 gallon tank. The 75 gallon one just has one Oscar at the moment he's very small. I wanted to get more oscars around the same size of the one I have, so I asked my friend to get me one yesterday (May 14, 2020). Well he came back with one that was quite bigger than the one I have originally. So I called back asking if I could exchange it or get a refund or store credit anything. Because I didn't want to place him in the tank, for fear he'd get aggressive with my Oscar. They said no I couldn't get a refund or store credit. Defeated I placed him in my tank and kept an eye out for any sign of aggression. Almost immediately the bigger Oscar tried to attack my goomba (that's my oscars name) I had to actually get a divider to be able to keep both oscars in there, I was planning on going to the store to ask again for an exchange or something. Although this morning (May 15th) I woke up to the Oscar being dead :/. I could tell he wasn't doing well all last night. I called again since I know they have a policy where they give you a refund if the fish dies within a day. They said no to just throw the fish away. I spent $30 on this fish, I don't think it's fair that I didn't even get store credit. I think this was very unprofessional on their part, and it cause a fish it's life. Not going back there UPDATE: my original Oscar got ich because of the other Oscar I got from here

His costumer service has exceeded my expectations; in and out his shop his customer service does not end. When he says, "text me if you have questions." he means it. I was very hesitant about starting corals since I am still fairly new to the hobby and many people recommended not to do coral due to amount of attention to detail that comes with in. After his reassurance, guidance and help I decided to push forward. Prior to purchasing my first corals he informed to do a major water change to get rid of the "bad" water and to replace it with some established water which he kindly to offered. I am extremely happy and thankful for his generous support. 100% would highly recommend! TIP: Please call or text him prior to arriving to confirm availability.

He has a nice little setup that has one of the most amazing collection of corals I've seen in a compact space. If you're an sps guy like me, then this is the place to go to. He also has a nice variety of lps and softies. All of the corals are in great health and are thriving. I bought with confidence! Jason also has amazing prices on his selection of livestock and dry goods so it really is hard to complain about anything.
