    14 " Hanoi Fever
    Kody P.

Location is good! Indoors seating but also many tables outside to eat outdoors. Service is okay. Tried 14" Hanoi Fever in my visit here, and it was good; nothing amazing or terrible. Pizza is on the thinner side compared to your typical pizza hut or domino's-styled pizza. It's easy for the crust to be burnt or dry/hard when the pizza is thin, but this was not the case. Hanoi Fever in particular wasn't necessarily flavorful which was something I was looking for: bland. I ended up throwing on a lot of tobasco, cheese, and pepper flakes to add in more flavor and spice; attached image was taken prior to the addition of condiments. Jalepeños in the image are not spicy. I also tried a slice of Kickin' Chicken during my visit here, and it was also quite bland. Again, the pizza here isn't bad, but for those coming in with expectations, not all may be met.

GREAT pizza! The Everest was amazing! The wings are good too but not as yummy as the pizza. I'll definitely stop by here again.

Nice little pizza parlor, there are a ton of different options of pizzas, they got beer!!! The staff were pleasant, no attitude considering the area, meaning everything on top of the hill up there seems to be a bit pricey. The restaurant was clean, went there on a Monday for lunch, it had very few people inside

Pandoras Box pizza made incorrectly (should not have sauce)
    Elaine W.

Terrible customer service! I ordered delivery of the Pandora's Box pizza, which is not supposed to have any sauce at all. I know this because I've had it before and the menu also says it does not have sauce. It came slathered with a very strong tasting tomato sauce. I called the store and the employee treated me like I was stupid, told me *I* ordered the wrong food, refused to fix it, and told me to re-order through Grub Hub if I wanted the correct food.

I've only been once so far but I definitely would go back. My husband is a very picky eater, and only likes 2 pizza places here in Charlottesville and he said he would definitely go back. We ate out in the courtyard which I enjoy cuz the kids ran around. We basically got the supreme pizza. The cashier was very helpful. I will say if you're a wing person don't order here.

Got a personal sized yard sale pizza and it was delicious! Not entirely unique for a pizza and for the price but filling and fast service!

The best sandwich around. The manager Stephen was awesome and made us want to come back. Highly recommend!

The worst pizza I have ever had. The crust was cheap. The sauce was gross. The cheese had no flavor.

Great pizza! New York style with more flavor. And they deliver BEER! Had a pepperoni and mushroom and even my 3 year old ate the mushrooms

Husband and I went here for dinner during our first night in Charlottesville. The pizza had great…read moretextures- thin crust on the bottom but bready at the edge, and the right amount of cheese and spicy sausage topping. We each got a pizza and were able to finish both since we were starving. We loved the pizza scissors! Our server was prompt, and we felt lucky to be seated right away on a Wednesday night. Their connecting bar was having a concert outside, with what felt like hundreds of people in attendance. We also learned that we could park in the industrial warehouse lot next door since it was after 5 PM. We'll be back!

SERVICE We came in on a rainy evening and were told the…read morewait might be about 45 minutes...and no space to wait indoors so we sat outside in the covered patio and they came by to let us order drinks as we waited. Thankfully, got the drink and were called in early about 15 minutes into the wait. That little surprise made things start off on a good note. Once inside, we sat at the bar since there weren't tables available and we were HUNGRY and cold! Even with the weather and a busy crowd, everything felt smooth and relaxed. AMBIANCE The place was small and cozy with a warm vibe that instantly made us forget the rain outside! The cool shallot-shaped lamps over the bar gave off soft light, making the whole space feel super calm and inviting. Sitting at the bar felt right choice for us for our first time -- close enough to the energy of the restaurant and people watching and seeing the pizzas get made but still comfortable! There's a soft buzz but cozy enough to chat and just feel at home. FOOD We ordered the Abruzzo pizza with beef and pork meatballs, fiore di latte, San Marzano tomato, basil, and pecorino. It was hearty and rich but still balanced. We also wanted to try the Prosciutto pizza, which was not the favorite but still good. The San Marzano tomato sauce for the Abruzzo was the star of the show. We were sad we didn't order another pizza with the tomato sauce to switch it up but oh well, another time right?! Loved the floppiness, the tomato sauce flavor, and the crust! Have to love the scissor-plate idea -- very clever and so easy. And size of these personal small-sized pizzas perfect for 2 people so we could have room for dessert and not have leftovers! We finished with the Zeppole "donuts" which were fried ricotta donuts tossed in cinnamon sugar with a hint of lemon (which I LOVED the lemon here and cinnamon sugar worked perfectly!). They were light, warm, crispy and just what you want at the end of a meal. The food was delicious, though definitely on the pricier side ($16-$18 each for the small pizzas, $9 for dessert. Still, everything felt thoughtful and worth it for the quality!

The art park has some places you could eat outdoors, though some are marked off for other businesses. For a 100% takeout, it wasn't the smoothest experience. They ran out of some things, they ran a bit over the projected order time, and they forgot my beverage, which thankfully I realized before I'd gotten very far. The flavor delivered as I would have hoped, with pure tomato tang, fresh basil, and a delectable charred crust on the core pizza I got. Adding a vegetable sandwich was a good decision in terms of taste, but either the preserved peppers they use or some other ingredient was so salty it took me a while to recover from even eating half of it. I do give them credit for offering sparkling water at a reasonable price. And of note, the budino dessert they offer, while described as pudding, is something that I learned is actually vegetarian (albeit with dairy and eggs), and delivered more excellent flavor. Overall, the amount I got for the money was not great, and while there were ample quality ingredients, I would sooner go back to eating in.

The food is identical to the original and is quite convenient to order online. All that being said the pizza is not really your traditional pizza. It's kind of in a realm of its own and does not compare to anything else in the area. I consider it to be "fancy" pizza and comes with a hefty price tag. The pizza itself is quite good, the zeppole was very good, and the meatballs were exquisite. I would eat this again but not on any sort of a regular basis. It's just not my cup of tea.

Wait time from store to store is usually pretty short, but waiting for actual food can be 2 minutes to 15 depending on who you go to. I got a chicken salad from the chicken place and it was great. My daughter got fettuccini alfredo and declared it rich, but bland. All that said, you can't miss with the ice cream location. So, regardless of what you ordered as the main dish, you can leave with a smile and a waffle cone in hand.
