I really wanted to like this place. I've given it three tries. The first time my pizza was made wrong. Second time it was made with correct toppings, but it had way too much cheese. This time I selected lite cheese and it literally came with no cheese. The wings were good my first order, but this order they were swimming in sauce. They are not edible. What a terrific place for a delicious meal. My wife and I have been twice and everything has been great. The Big Wednesday calzone is excellent! Would recommend the management look at serving the tomato sauce warmed up but the flavor of the calzone is fantastic. The spinach salad was an excellent start to the meal. The Wham, Bam Thank You Mammoth pizza was superb. They take time to roast red peppers and caramelize onions so the pizza flavor is great. read more

Great location and the food is decent at best. The customer service is by far the worst aspect of this place. The "extremely" negligent people supposed to be working the bar/counter have turned their backs and even walked right past customers without any acknowledgement of presence. I can't tell if it's understaffed or just very poorly staffed. I've tried to give this spot the benefit of the doubt, but my last visit will be just that. read more

Paid $45 for two 14" pizzas delivery. The pizzas themselves were sub-par. I don't think we'll be having it again... Disappointing because we loved seeing more restaurants opening up in the shopping center. There are plenty of better pizza delivery chains in CVille where you can get twice the pizza for half the price. read more

This extreme pizza is new to Charlottesville. We have eaten at the one in D.C. The Pizza is good, lots of different kinds to check out. We had to laugh as the toppings were in such an abundance that we actually made a slice of pizza with the extra toppings (yard sale/railroad)! The atmosphere is open and well lit. They do not offer a military discount in C-Ville location. The prices are reasonable and the staff is very friendly and efficient. They even cleared the dirty plates away while we chatted. They do serve many beers on tap too. They have a patio area available that will allow you to eat outside if you so wish. It's a great place to pop in and have a quick dinner. Great location! Was early for our evening movie next door and decided to take a chance. I'm glad we did, the service was excellent and the pizza was beyond amazing! We did a custom pizza as well as one off the menu(dragged through the garden) both came out at the same time and beyond perfection! And don't get me started on the pizza crust itself. Beer list had options as well as in Tap was a wide selection with local breweries. Jacob was very knowledgeable on the beer pairing for our pizza!! We will be coming back here! read more

I'm a big fan of Extreme Pizza in Pentagon City, and very happy that they now have a franchise in Charlottesville. Great pizza and craft beer selection that doesn't disappoint. In fact, my 8 y/o son loves the Paia Pie (Canadian Bacon, Pineapple, and Mandarin Oranges)--his new favorite of which he already advertised to his grandmother. Located right next to Alamo Draft House, I anticipate that a future stop at Extreme Pizza before or after a movie will be in order. Came here because I heard they had great vegan pizza options and I was definitely not disappointed! I got their vegan pizza and my mom got their version of the supreme pizza and we were both super happy. Their salads are really delicious as well (albeit not vegan). And they come with plenty of salad dressing. Drinks have free refills and if you're in the mood for something alcoholic they have that too (the watermelon rosemary hard cider they have is phenomenal -- wish I could find it in stores). Overall, my mom and I enjoyed our time, we came during World Cup season and were able to watch the game, eat, and drink. We've been back twice already and I'm pretty sure it'll be our go to pizza place. Service is fine (nothing special here but it's easy to order, food comes out quick, tables and such are always clean, and cashier is always nice), prices are good, food is great. Signs you're not allowed to give 0 Stars you get one. Where do I begin. Well I've walked past the extreme Pizza restaurant many of times. But I finally decided to go in and give it a try. I'm walking in I see two people sitting at the counter and I thought okay their customers. Know their employees with their heads buried in their cell phones. The female gets up looks at me and says hello is this going to be dine-in or carry-out. I say to her dying in this is my first time eating here. she hands me a menu and she says oh well what you decide what you want just come back up. And then she sits back at the counter with her head back in her cell phone. till I go sit at the far end of the restaurant then when I sit down at the first table it's all sticky with food on it. I slide over to the next table same thing. I walked down across the restaurant floor there's food all over the place. I look up at the counter both employees got their heads buried in their cell phones. I get up I got to walk out towards the front door if a male gets up and says oh are you ready to order. I look and I say oh no I don't think so it's a little bit too dirty in here for me. And she just simply says oh as I walk out the door. it is only after I'm seated in my car looking at the restaurant that the two employees get up and start cleaning. And of course by then it's too late. extreme Pizza doesn't have a corporate telephone number for you to call you can only send them a message. Well I get a quick reply from the franchise owner. She's not too happy about what he's hearing. he keeps on apologizing and he says that he's headed to the restaurant he's begging me please come back into my restaurant. But I'm sorry again too late you don't treat customers like that and expect them to come back. Especially brand new customers you don't ignore them. read more

This was one of the best gluten free pizza crusts I have had! My husband had the calzone and it was yummy too. The selection of wine and beer was good as well. It is new, clean, and tastefully decorated. We look forward to coming back and trying more items from the menu! read more
