By chance, and our good fortune, We randomly pulled into the nearest gas station to address the problem. Lucky for us, we pulled into the station in which B&B operates it's auto repair business. We was promptly helped by Lisa who is B&B's manager and "director of public relations". She immediately checked all the tires and found that there were actually two damaged tires that had to be replaced. One tire was ballooned and if not replaced, a blow out, as well as a potentially serious accident, was a very real possibility in our near future. The other tire was damaged but was temporarily repaired and was drivable at low speeds. She and Bobby, the owner, worked out a plan so that we could get to Mtk for the weekend and stop by on Monday to have two new tires mounted on our way back to Manhattan. My significant other and I are very grateful for Bobby and Lisa saving our weekend vacation and possibly our lives, as well! They are great folks who made a trip to the auto repair shop a pleasant experience and at a very fair price, as well!!

So I went to B&B today for a simple NYS inspection on my Range Rivet which is $37 and he talked me…read moreinto changing my oil which probably needed changing. When I went back to get my car, my bill was $769. He charged me 350 for two hours of labor. Now understand that the $37 is a state mandate charge and there's no labor charged above that which means he charged me $350 in labor to change my oil and put a new filter in. The $200 he charged me for the oil and the filter was about right. Of course I have no guarantee. He did use new oil or put it in. Did I mention that he changed the wiper blades without consulting me and I just had them changed a month or so ago by Range Rover themselves so that was another hundred dollars overcharge. So a simple task that should've cost maybe $425 total he charged me $769. Never called me to ask if I wanted new wiper blades so just went ahead and did it and they were brand new blades. Anyway, I've alerted my credit card company and I guarantee you he won't be getting the whole 769. The gas operation is separate so feel free to get gas there, but Bobby ? don't let him touch your car

AVOID AUTO SERVICE!!…read more Butchered my car ! Spilled brake fluid all over my pretty paint job on my 1968 Super Sport !! The gaslight response I get is "just wash it off" and "you just need it detailed ", total gaslighting, more like repainted ! Nor should anyone have to get their car detailed from your sloppy work. Brake fluid kills paint FYI Literally got brake fluid all over my driver door, my fender, my hood! Who does a brake job and doesn't account for that or spray, no fender cover or anything! Nobody should have to trade their car's paint for brakes... oh an they screwed that job as well - I've been leaking brake fluid for a week since via my master cylinder which was fine before I came in, never had issues until they pulled it out & tested it via a Phillips head screwdriver smashing non stop, after I said it was not a good idea, still proceeded on ... until put a hole in the connection ! Costing me $365 bucks in unnecessary parts money , time, energy to get a new master - then re installed at a competent establishment = more labor money. I was driving around for almost a week with no fluid in my master reservoir , could've crashed easy. To add icing and a cherry on the cake, Mobil chipped the corner of my hood / cowl down to the metal A total strikeout - Ruined paint job, broke my master cylinder and gaslighting all within a calendar day. Larry the man who oversaw it all gave me the high hand an was dismissive of me - won't even so much as reimburse me for his damaging , non effective work, has zero humility and no accountability. So disgraceful and negligent. Guy snarls at me, makes ugly comments, and will use his poor health against you. That being said I highly suggest you never come here or leave your car here unattended , especially not overnight if you value your car from my experience. I DO NOT RECOMMEND

The place has been pricey in the past, but under the new management, they have been more competitive with the other local mechanic shops. They also have a couple new mechanics who are very knowledgeable and courteous. I have been coming here for many years and have seen them go through their ups and downs, but the new team has taken the bar to a new height! They are deserving of a second chance, trust me, you won't be disappointed!!
