If I can't get decaf from the self serve area, I might as well order from the screen and get a latte. They do have a special for $2 iced coffees any size, screen ordered only. They also have 2 atm machines with no surcharge. One was down today, but was told there was another. Pretty cool since we didn't know they had two. I recommend downloading the app. You don't have to reload on it anymore, just be sure to scan it before paying to keep earning rewards. Who doesn't like free things? Employee interactions are usually subpar, but then again you really don't go to Wawa for the social interaction.

So my stress level went into the red zone when my car went from 31 to 19 miles until empty. I had been looking for a 7-Eleven because I had rewards points but at that point any station would do. The gas station is quite conveniently located on the NW corner of the intersections of Kempsville & Centerville. It was an easy "in & out" if traveling south on Kempsville Road. The gas pump area was clean & up to date. I didn't go inside because I was already late for dinner with friends. The cost of gasoline was about 10 cents higher than the 7-Elevens located in the NW area of Kempsville where I should have stopped while running errands a few days earlier. Andddd.... My rewards discount had expired the prior day, But at that moment in time I would have paid any price. After I filled up with gas I felt my Blood Pressure decrease dramatically. :) Thank you 7-Eleven for being exactly where I needed you to be.

But I was waiting for the text which offered a discount. Believe it or not the text came when I was only a couple of miles up the road. I pulled into the next neighborhood, stopped & accepted the discount. This 7-Eleven was in the perfect place at the right time. It's located on the southeast corner of Kempsville and Indian River Roads. I was able to pull right in from my Kempsville Road path home and exit the same way. There's also an entrance on Indian River Road. The gas pump area was clean & well cared for. I can't speak to the store as my stop was only for gas. The best part was getting 27 cents off the pump price. In addition to my rewards discount there was also a 7 cents Super Bowl discount. How cool is that? I left with a full tank of gas before the upcoming storm. And I tucked away the 7-Eleven into my memory bank for future stops when I'm in this part of town.

I just need a few snacks to get me through my shift, so I came here. I ended up buying churro KitKats, a yummy strawberry cheesecake, some Motrin and gas for my Jeep. Plus a free Icee with the app! And considering the amount of foot traffic in the store, it was a quick trip for me!
