He told me the cost would be $456.52 But after 6 to 7 hours or so later added $215.61 to my bill saying that he received the wrong part and the actual part cost more. After receiving my car back my ac was working but not to full capacity and from 30 minutes of driving my car, the check engine light came back on. I took it back to the shop and was told to put c foam in my tank and go from there. Afterwards, I took my vehicle back to advance auto and read the same exact thing as before FUEL PUMP. The total amount of of the job was 690.39 (THATS CLOSE TO 700 DOLLARS !!!!!!!!!!!) for a service on my vehicle that wasn't fixed fully, but more so given a bandage job. Who ever you are reading this, if you value your money or credit card do your self a favor and stay away from this place.

I dropped my vehicle off with H&H last week to have it diagnosed. They charged me $80 for the diagnostic and gave me a quote for the repairs. I was told that if I decided to have the work done with them, I could bring the diagnostic receipt back and they would apply that $80 toward the repair bill. Before making a decision, I did what any responsible customer would do: I got a second opinion and another quote. After comparing everything, we actually chose H&H. I called the next day to schedule the repair. That's when the problems started. I was told they don't make appointments, but that I could drop my vehicle off on Tuesdays. I specifically asked, "If I drop it off Tuesday, will it be completed Tuesday?" I was told yes -- it would be a same-day repair. That was important because I had doctors' appointments every other day that week. Tuesday was the ONE day that worked for me. So I dropped my vehicle off Monday night, expecting it to be repaired Tuesday. Around 2 PM Tuesday, I received a call telling me they hadn't even ordered the part. Apparently, according to them, they don't order parts until the vehicle is physically sitting in their lot. Excuse me? If a customer has already had the vehicle diagnosed, received a quote, agreed to the repair, and specifically called ahead to arrange the drop-off, why wouldn't the necessary part be ordered ahead of time? Even more importantly, why tell a customer it will be a same-day repair when you haven't even ordered the part? The older gentleman behind the counter then told me he would order the part and that it would arrive Thursday. I explained that Thursday wouldn't work because my husband was having surgery. He told me to bring the vehicle back Monday and said that if I didn't show up, they would simply send the part back. Fine. Except when my husband called afterward, he was given a completely different explanation: we were told the part had been sold to another job. At this point, we're frustrated -- and rightfully so. We have four children who ride in this vehicle, including an infant. This isn't some spare car that can sit around indefinitely while a business figures out what they're doing. We made arrangements based on the information H&H gave us. Fast-forward to Monday morning. My husband dropped the vehicle off so the repair could FINALLY be completed. Then H&H called and told us they weren't going to do the repair at all. Why? Because they didn't like how dissatisfied we had been throughout this entire ordeal and didn't like my husband's "attitude" when he came into the shop. Let's be very clear: he did not curse at anyone. He did not threaten anyone. He did not disrespect anyone. He explained what had happened and expressed his frustration. When he left, they told him, "Have a nice day," and he responded, "Yeah, we will see." Apparently, expressing frustration after being given conflicting information, having our repair delayed, being told one thing and then hearing another, and having our vehicle sitting there without the part being ordered was enough for H&H to decide they no longer wanted our business. That's their choice. But here's the problem: A good business doesn't punish a customer for being upset about a problem the business created. They had multiple opportunities to fix this situation. They could have simply acknowledged the mistake, communicated clearly, completed the repair correctly, and perhaps offered a small discount or some other gesture for the inconvenience. Instead, they chose to turn the situation around on the customer. We weren't upset for no reason. We were upset because we were repeatedly given information that turned out not to be accurate, our time was wasted, and we were left scrambling to figure out transportation while having four children -- including an infant -- depending on that vehicle. The most disappointing part is that we had already gotten a second opinion and still CHOSE H&H. We gave them our business despite having another option. And this is how they chose to treat us. Three separate times, we were let down -- and instead of taking accountability and making it right, H&H decided the problem was that we were unhappy about it. That's not customer service. That's not accountability. And that's not a business I can recommend to anyone. If you choose to use H&H, I strongly recommend getting everything in writing, confirming exactly when parts will be ordered, and confirming exactly when your vehicle will actually be repaired. Because based on our experience, what you're told when you drop the vehicle off may not be what happens.

I saw signs saying that they were getting some new features, so I'm looking forward to trying them again in the future! This mini Nex is actually pretty nice. I've been getting gas here for years and have also come over a few times for lunch at subway in a pinch. It does get pretty busy during the lunch rush due to all the people who work nearby but otherwise it's pretty easy to get in and out of. It's located right near the primary hangars near the stoplight at buildings V-82 and V-64. So it's centrally located. Recently, I ran in to use the restroom and saw some things like sandwiches and salads to go and hot dogs. All looked appetizing to me and an easier grab and go item for lunch if the lines at subway are super long. This is a great spot if you're close to it for what you need if it's gas and snacks. Note: they sell car washes with gas purchase and if you do choose one, you save $.20 cents per gallon. However the car wash is located at the larger gas station by the actual NEX off Admiral Taussig Blvd so keep your receipt.

Unfortunately, after the repair was completed, I discovered multiple bolts and nuts were only hand-tightened and had not been torqued to the required specifications. Considering this involves critical suspension and subframe components, this was a serious safety concern. Because I no longer had confidence in the quality of the work performed, I chose to take the vehicle to another shop and pay to have the repair inspected and corrected properly rather than return it to the facility that performed the original work. Mistakes happen, but leaving safety-related components loose after a recall repair is unacceptable. A basic quality-control inspection should have caught this before the vehicle was released. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and improves its workmanship and inspection process before someone gets hurt.
