This place is incredibly frustrating when it comes to scheduling appointments. This review is for laser hair removal purchased through Groupon. 6 sessions paid in advance I am on my 3rd session and have not seen much improvement + my under arms started producing body odor after starting my treatments here. Make sure to book ALL your appointments in advance. Laser hair removal requires reoccurring visits every month. Unfortunately, I have gone three months without treatment and have been rescheduled twice now (+one rescheduled because of me). PLUS they were 25 min late to the treatment they rescheduled me for The place is clean and workers are nice. I just wish scheduling was improved and more results in terms of treatments. I have been reading reviews and I saw someone with the exact same symptoms I had when I got Botox. The migraine was horrible, something I had never experienced before, and my eyes were sore; they wouldn't stop watering. I had already gotten Botox injections and hadn't felt any reaction, but because they wanted to pay less per unit, it got worse because I couldn't work for 4 days, which made it more expensive. I went to talk to the "nurses" at Buena Park because, curiously, the one who gave me the injections canceled the appointment 10 minutes before because she had an emergency. The person who attended me told me that she didn't know what procedure they had done on me, that my body had reacted badly to the medication, but I don't think that's what it was and I will never go back!!!!! read more

disappointed. i booked an appointment for botox with a promotional price. booking required a $25 deposit. the nurse injecting was friendly and professional. among other areas, i requested a few units to "lift" the eyebrows. after the appointment, the receptionist explained i could use the $25 deposit toward my services that day or i could leave my deposit to secure the promotional price for my next botox appointment if i booked for 3 months from now. i chose to book in 3 months. a few days after injections, i noticed my eyebrows looking uneven. one was definitely more lifted than the other. i understand this is common and called to request a touch up appointment after the 2 week healing period. the receptionist explained it would would be full price per unit (not the promotional price i "secured" with my deposit). most medspas offer FREE touchups, but eye candy wants to charge me EXTRA for one? i tried to reason with the receptionist to at least honor my promotional price for the touch up but she wouldn't budge. i ended up canceling all future appointments and requesting my $25 deposit back (which i haven't seen in my account yet). this doesn't necessarily reflect on the nurse injector, more so on the lack of customer service. read more

Got my lash extensions done for the first time ever here and I gotta say I'm in love with how they look on me! There is no sign of eye irritation for me and they stayed on pretty good still by the 2nd week. I went with the classic full set and had Alice work on me. She was very gentle with her hands and did an amazing job! She was very accommodating with the style that I wanted. My appointment was like 1.5 hours long but the bed you lay on has a massage feature that you could end up napping through the entire thing. Overall, the service was awesome! My doc told me this is a very rapid fraud reoccurrence with people to make big money. I found this place on Instagram and was definitely fooled by doctored images as real results. I have gotten multiple treatments of laser hair removal and it's not very effective at all. Sev lasers work way better. Just love how close this place is compared to Sev, but these lasers don't work very well at all in my opinion. Also I was counting my sessions and I had one more but they said no, both times. I tried to argue but hard to prove and gave up. I do feel like they cut short how many sessions you have left. Make sure to count and have proof! Botox review Very nice and personable. Great, clean facility. I went for Botox and have had Botox before however this time around it was actually a little painful and I've never had a painful Botox experience. Not sure if the lady who injected had a "different touch" but it was definitely a little tougher than every other time I've gone. I'll be back when they have great deals again (paid $195 for 32 units) but hope I get someone else to inject or that maybe the RN has had a bit more experience because 2 days later I still have a very tender spot above my left brow, even a small bump. Rude and unhygienic Nurse Somaly! I went for Sculptra and PDO threads. She put Lidocaine on and said it'll be 20 minutes, even set a timer on her phone. She then told me that she needs to go to STARBUCKS to exchange her drink but would brb. After about 30 mins I can hear her talking with other clients down the hall or in another room. She never even pushed in to check on me at the 20 mins . She FINALLY returned to check on me after 40 MINUTES while sipping on her Starbucks. Only to say "Oh, I'll be starting in a bit, let me go find the threads". She later returns and says she couldn't find the threads. ( She should have had them already as it was now 54 minutes into my appt). She sips then puts her drink down on the table across from me and immediately grabs sterile gloves. I asked her "Do you mind washing your hands before starting". She looked at me with absolute disgust! She replied "Im only taking off the Lidocaine" ( Regardless, she had been outdoors, to Starbucks, drinking her coffee AND meeting with other clients since I last saw her). She refused and began blaming me for overreacting . She said" I think you're just nervous". I explained that yes I was very nervous and she is not helping with her unprofessionalism and poor hygiene. She refused to acknowledge it or wash her hands. She actually told me, "We don't just keep washing our hands ALL day". That's was it for me. I ended up getting a refund and left. I'm so glad I did because I believe that she would have tried to do something to hurt me based on how rude and oppositional she was being. I asked the manager to contact me to report this but she never did. This place is a prime example of "you get what you pay for!". I come in for the consult and they tell me that they don't charge those prices and that it was gonna be $9.50 a unit. First of all that is past the time recommended and second of all they have NO availability. Literally a waste of time and money. When I called to schedule initially I asked if I would be able to come in Saturdays or Sundays and they said YES YES we are open and will take you in as late as 5pm. I got my eyelashes done here for the very first time. I chose the baby doll classic full set ($79, i believe). Unfortunately, I didn't get the name of the girl that did my eyelashes but I will definitely ask once I make my next appointment cause she did a really good job!! To be honest, the whole process is pretty long, about 1 hour and a half when you get a full set. It started to hurt my back where I had to adjust my legs a lot since i have back problems even though the bed thingy is pretty comfortable. It was also pretty tiring to have your eyes closed for almost two hours (ironically) haha. Besides all my personal problems, overall, i had a wonderful experience here. Ive been getting a lot of compliments on my lashes and it's definitely pretty affordable to get your lashes here and they do a such a good job. I am a very high maintenance patient and I've expressed what I like and what I don't like and she completely validates my concerns. She makes me feel safe and she is extremely professional. She is the only nurse that has been gentle with me and every time I get my Botox it does not hurt. she is extremely skilled in her craft and she knows what she's doing. In fact, your explanation of the lash cycle does not apply to my experience at your eyelash/brow business as 5-10 of my lashes were falling out each day after my appointment. I did submit a claim with the BBB requesting for my money back as I did not intend to pay for an eyelash service that lasted me less than 5 days. Additionally, instead of offering an explanation to me about the natural lash cycle in response to my negative review maybe you should warn your clients beforehand or charge a better suited rate (for what the service is worth) so they know what they are paying for. read more
