I went to Eyecandy salons to Ellana Ohaver For a color and cut. First of all I was totally impressed with her shop. My first impression was amazing. Her shop is decorated so so cute and is so comfortable. It wasn't like sitting in a regular beauty shop I didn't even realize the time going by like how you normally can feel sitting in the chair.... she made me feel that comfortable ...now the amazing thing was my hair! She cut 3 inches off and colored it for a very affordable price, and the finished product was outstanding! I am older, and Have a lot of experience with beauty shops, and this has been the most outstanding review I could ever do! My hair turned out the BEST color that it's ever been and the cut is absolutely beautiful! She was so easy to talk to and so eager to please. She definitely pleased me!!! She got me in quickly and her prices are so affordable it's unbelievable! If you're looking for someone to color and/or cut this would definitely be the person to go to! I feel so blessed honestly to have her as my beautician. She's so beautiful inside and out!!! I hope people read this because she does need the recognition she deserves! I just had to write a review of this salon!! I've been to multiple salons in the Buffalo area and I've only left disappointed as no one understood my hair type or listened to my concerns. BUT THEN I went to Eye Candy Salon and they sat me down, discussed what my hair needed, what I wanted, and they're always honest! They want all their clients to have healthy gorgeous hair. I personally go to Robin but I've talked to others in the shop and everyone is so sweet and very professional! This salon truly deserves all the recognition so I hope you go here next! I went here for the first time on 2.27.14. I needed some serious help do to a bad haircut the weeks ago at another salon. Christina is my miracle worker. She was honest on what needed to be done to make the corrections. She also made me comfortable and when I left I actually hugged her because I was so happy with what she did. Christina is AMAZING. She is the only person who has EVER cut my hair well. I have naturally curly hair and she always gave me a cut that looked great curly or straight. I went from long hair to medium-length with bangs to short hair and then started growing it out again and she ALWAYS did an amazing job and gave me exactly what I wanted. I have moved away and had my hair butchered trying to find someone who will come close to being as good as Christina. I wish I could fly back to Buffalo every time I needed a hair cut! Everyone in the salon was always super friendly and the prices were very reasonable. I would recommend this salon in a heartbeat! read more
