I noticed one of the nosepads on my Oakley sunglasses missing literally about 5 minutes prior to passing by here, so I figured I'd just drop by to get it fixed (and I did not even look this place up beforehand). There were two guys working and greeted me with perfect English before I was about to say hi in Korean. The man who greeted me (pretty sure he was the owner) stopped what he was doing and immediately took my sunglasses and replaced the missing nosepad AND the other old one within like 2 minutes (I didn't even ask for the latter nor was expecting it). + I'm pretty sure he did some minor adjustments to fix few angles. Meanwhile, they greeted some regulars whom they knew by name that came in while I was waiting, but the owner himself didn't take his eyes off my glasses the whole time outside of giving those other customers the same smile he greeted me with. I was surprised how focused he was even though it was a minor repair. He topped it off with cleaning my sunglasses in one of their machines (which alone looked like something they could charge for since the other employee was working on another sunglasses with it). I already had my wallet out and was ready to pay whatever, but the owner said "all finished! and it's on the house" and waived my wallet away. I kinda did a double take before asking if he was serious. I mean he refused payment, so the least I can do is give him this review and help his business somehow. I love this place. I've been coming here since 2018, and while their selection is not huge, it is well curated. The main star of the show, though are their lenses, exams, and support. They do a good job with progressive lenses, especially, giving you the right balance of distance depending on your needs, and have helped me fix an older frame that I bought there, for free, twice. Super kind, very reasonable prices for the lenses as well. In fact, even out of network, you're out of pocket price will likely be similar to places that accept your insurance directly. Even if they may be out of network with my vision insurance, it's still much cheaper to come here and claim out of network benefits. Johnny is amazing! I'm an optician and I can tell you from first hand experience how amazing the prices are but also the service and quality. I buy my wife a lot of frames, and I always come here to put the prescription in them today. It was done in less than 15 minutes and again their prices are amazing $60 for plastic with anti-reflective coating while everywhere else it's 80 to 100 they have deals for frame and lenses for $100. You can't beat that single vision I'm not too sure what the bifocal or the progressive price is but absolutely amazing and they have really great quality frames like Lindbergh and Tom Ford I saw vintage frames as well. I am so impressed with this place. For an entire morning, I tried calling several places to get a same-day appointment. I know that's a lot to ask, but I happen to get a last-minute day off from work, so I crossed my fingers and tried calling several eye doctors! No luck with 6 different places. Finally, as I was walking around Korea town, I saw this place. I just walked in and asked if they had any available appointments and they kindly said "It is only walk-ins here!" I was sooooo happy. I came in and filled out one sheet of paper. I asked them their cash prices and they were very upfront about it all. I only waited about 10 minutes and was already in to see the eye doctor. I asked for a contact lens prescription in addition to my eye glass prescription. It was such an easy, fast process. I picked my glasses. I picked the cheapest ones they provided. They then told me that i could return same-day in a few hours to pick up my new glasses. I was in shock. I came back at 4pm and they had my glasses ready!! They adjusted it to my face and made sure I was satisfied. I only spent $125. That includes the glasses with prescription, contact lens prescription, and I had a small removal of a tiny eye lash that had been poking my eye for months. I didn't even realize that it was that one lash that had been bothering me. I had always thought it was my make up, but the doc was able to see the little lash poking my eye every time I blinked. So awesome! Everyone was so fantastic. I highly recommend this place to all. read more

So I told my husband that I would come here the next time I buy a new pair of glasses. But last week my husband's glasses fell apart, maybe because of normal wear and tear. They do not need an appointment for eye examination and that is a huge plus!! I needed to get my eyes examined every week for at least a month because I just stopped wearing Ortho-K lenses at night and my vision changes literally every day. Tried booking eye exam with the ophthalmology office I usually visit and the wait is at least 3 weeks! That means I would not have good vision for 3 weeks and just think about all the things I do on a daily basis that need good vision... Came here and got my eyes exam done. Doctor was quick and professional; she knew exactly what I was going through and had prior experience with other patients who also wore Ortho-K lenses. She also offered me trial lenses on my second visit, so my "transition" period between Ortho-K lenses and regular glasses/contact lenses could be smoother. Thank you! read more
