So here is my experience. I first went for the cheap strip lashes because i didn't want to spend the money and i wanted to test the waters. Being that i just needed fullness i *thought* strips were for me. WELL LET ME TELL YOU, you get what you pay for. If you go for cheap, you will get cheap, ones that don't last and someone who is not in it for you! I went to Jessica based on a recommendation and I'm so happy i did. She removed my mess of what someone did (i had major gaps and it thrashed my lashes ). She took the extra time to explain what she was doing, give me options and even recommended the best fit based on my eye shape. So, i would HIGHLY RECOMMEND Jessica! Absolutely LOVE my lashes!!!! I've been to probably 4 different places and I have not found the type of lash extensions I want. I wanted full, flirty, and long lashes that didn't look like someone put little plastic fans on my eyes. Every spot I had been to was either too thin, too clumpy, too few... and some lash artists had told me it was because my lashes were too thin and spaced separately. So here I am thinking it's my fault... the last place I visited I was charged $160 (not including tip - 20%) so damn near $200. I was then told my 2 week fill would be $75 each time. Now I'm THAT girl - meaning I get my pedicure/manicure budgeted, my waxing, my eyebrows, etc so I wasn't looking to add ANOTHER doggon bill to maintain. So after weeks of having those lashes, I wasn't really happy. Sure they looked long because they are lash extensions but I wasn't a fan and then they started to fall off and when they fell off, I noticed that they fell off like in clumps. I made the decision I didn't want to go back. So I searched yelp and found Jessica here! I shot her a text, she was upfront about pricing, she didn't cause a stink about me coming from a different shop and even said if she could save what I had, she would and charge me only for a fill (but could offer no guarantees cuz she needed to see them). Now I knew I would likely have to get a full set - no problem - but I know some places charge you an extra for coming from another spot etc etc., she didn't say that. Ya know what I mean? Like damn my lashes got jacked up from the other spot I didn't know and now I gotta find another place and get charged for the other lady's mistakes? Lol so anyways, here I am, the spot is inside Phenix salon suites and it's a cute little shop. The place looked girly and clean & had three beds. Jessica asked me what I was looking for, I showed her some photos of what I liked (check their Instagram out!) and she knew what to do. While she got started, she explained how my lashes looked fragile like I was tugging and pulling at them. I only pulled the ones that had looked like they were falling off and in my vision looking crazy as hell. And when I told her when some would fall in clumps she said that was because they (the other spot) didn't do a good job. I was like I knew it! Then I told her that I been to 4 other spots, been charged an arm and a leg, never happy, and that I thought my lashes were not suitable for extensions. She was like NO, I've done lashes on thinner and worse and they look good. As the process was going, I could feel her working pretty fast - she also told me how long it would take which I appreciate. Sometimes getting a full set feels like you're there for hours on end and knowing when you would be finished is nice. The last spot I was at, I think I was there for 3-4 hours and my back was killing me. Here, I was there for an 1.5 hr I think. When I looked in the mirror - OMFGGGGGG I was so happy! Finally! Lashes how I wanted! Lashes how I see on the other pretty ladies! I had full, thick, flirty, feminine, sexy lashes! I was soooo stoked! Sure enough she finished a full set in 1.5 hr and told me that 2-3 weeks, my lashes will get stronger again and she can make them even fuller. Holy balls, Fuller? I thought they were FULL already! Ok you guys get the point im sure but I'm super happy. I will be calling on Jessica, this is my spot, her prices are reasonable and I like the upfront honestly, efficiency, and beautiful work. Breanna is amazing! went to her for my first time getting lash extensions and they turned out perfect. She really takes her time on your lashes and is completely pain free. I followed Evelyn from her previous location where she had been my lash artist for over a year(since nov 2016)... I now drive 25 miles extra just to come see her at her new location because she's that amazing! My lashes always look so full, so thick, so bold, yet still maintain a naturally "blessed" appearance. I get compliments CONSTANTLY, wherever I go from women and men alike. The quality is superb, they stay on, and look amazing for 2-3 weeks at least. I don't even feel them and i can shower, wash my face and sleep comfortably and regularly with them on. They DO not pull out your natural lashes out unless you are picking and plucking yourself. I can roll out of bed and feel glamorous without applying much makeup if any at all. I do the volume lashes, and I HIGHLY recommend going that route... it's just so beautiful and full and rich looking and Evelyn is a TRUE professional and takes SO much pride in her work.
