I have been a patient of Dr. Linder since I moved to Antioch in 2016, and in all these years I have never had a single bad experience. She has seen me through every stage and change in my vision and every eye issue I've had along the way. When I first started seeing her, I was nearsighted. Over time I also became farsighted and eventually needed bifocals, and she managed that whole transition with care and attention. Later, I developed a detached vitreous, and she guided me through that with calm, thorough care and reassurance. I also have idiopathic intracranial hypertension (increased intracranial pressure), which means that sometimes I need to be seen urgently. Every single time that has happened, she has made time for me. That alone says a lot about the kind of doctor she is. Her office itself is great -- it's always very clean and well kept, there is plenty of parking, and the staff is consistently friendly, helpful, and professional. You never feel stressed walking in there, and you never feel like you're just another number. I'm a nursing instructor, and at a recent visit, I told Dr. Linder that I was feeling intimidated about teaching the anatomy of the eye because, honestly, it's a complex topic if you're not in that specialty. Without hesitation, she offered to meet with me, look over my PowerPoint, and help me fact-check it. What really amazed me is that she did this on her own time, on one of her days off, and with incredible patience. She would make an excellent teacher. The way she explains things and the analogies she uses make complicated concepts actually make sense. I walked away from that meeting not only feeling more confident about my lecture, but genuinely more interested in the eye itself, which is not something I ever thought I'd say. As a nurse, I pay attention to certain things in healthcare providers. Dr. Linder clearly loves her specialty and isn't just going through the motions or counting down to retirement. She's fully present and engaged in her work. She takes the time to explain what's going on, discuss prevention, and make sure you understand what's happening with your own body. She also genuinely cares about her patients as people, not just diagnoses. She's also very down to earth. She's not stiff or overly "buttoned up." She's easy to talk to, warm, and approachable, and she makes it easy to ask questions without feeling rushed or dismissed. I can honestly say Dr. Linder is the kind of physician you hope to find and keep for life. I'm incredibly grateful for her care and truly blown away by her dedication to both her patients and her field. I recommend her without hesitation. read more

Found this place 2 years ago, and I have been pleasantly satisfied with the service I get. I have even referred other people to this location. I moved out of town by yet I still come here. We have been going to Dr Linder for over 25yrs. That says enough. But to make this an informative review I first will start with her staff. They are very friendly and efficient. As for Dr Linder, she has the most up to date and technically advance equipment. A huge eye glass frame showroom that carries an assortment of designer labels. They have extended office hours on Thursdays as well as Saturday appointments. read more

Have been a patient here for many years . The Dr we initially saw moved on and they have poor customer service. They were impatient with my children at last exam. The glasses were not properly made and they will not correct it without charging even after myltiple attempts to speak with someone and even providing the Dr with verification of the issues from another specialist with the glasses made incorrectly. ​After a phone call and email I was ghosted and my family of 6 will now be seeing a new more reliable provider. read more

Eye to eye has been our optometrist for over ten years. Their staff is friendly, the optometrists are excellent, and the opticians are the best. What is really next level is their use of texting to contact the office, make appointments, pay bills, get status of deliveries, and anything else! They might be slammed with people so just send a text. When things slow down, they get back to you and problem solved. I truly wish everything could be this simple. I had an eye prescription from my doctor to get glasses, and this place was closest to my house and I saw that they had great reviews. I went in as a walk-in and they kindly helped me and booked me in that day to get fitted. The staff is extremely nice and helpful. The clinic looks so comforting and clean. Only downside is the prices for frames. It was absolutely ridiculous how much they charge for frames, they mainly try to sell you designer frames. read more

The doctor is great there. But they have problems with there billing. It's funny because when I went in they were having a meeting in the eye area about it. Then my experience after was them giving three different bills going higher and higher. They didn't take the time to look up the insurance correctly. They just added the difference on my card without asking and made it look like part of the bill. There staff the does the exam is great. Front desk people disappointed. I was referred by Dr. Sakata for cataract surgery and I was really happy with him but I'm very unhappy with the optical department . After my cataract surgery I went there for new reading glasses and they charged me over $700 for what I later found out I could have purchased online for 1/3 the cost . When I went to pick up the glasses they were the prescription before my surgery so I couldn't use them. At that point I was so fed up that I told them to just cancel my order but they refused and said they would only give me back half of my $700. I feel they're a rip off and I would never recommend anyone going there. On top of all this they never told me Medicare pays for a pair of glasses after cataract surgery. It feels like they're just in it for the money. I want to be clear that I like both Dr Sakata and Dr Linder but some of the staff not so much read more

From start to finish, Eye to Eye Optometry Group is a great experience. Dr. Linder takes a lot of time to make sure your exam is complete and correct and that you get the glasses or lenses just right for you. The equipment they have is all state of the art. Dr. Linder discovered a previous wrong diagnosis of my wife's eyes and could show us on some amazing photos how earlier exams from another office missed it. All "Covid" protocols are followed so that you have a safe environment for your visit. Worst experience ever. Was not told childrens glasses takes 4-5 MONTHS just to come back. even when I called a week in advance to confirm she'd leave with glasses the same week. I expected two weeks tops, but 4 months?? left and went to another optometrist, glasses will be ready in 5 days!! Receptionist was rude and irritated, very unprofessional and unhelpful. I booked online and showed for my appointment and they said I requested an appointment but it wasn't booked because they didn't call or email me to confirm. If the appointment date and time is here why no email or call. Why act like you don't know who I am when I get there. Big waste of time. Ever since i got my glasses here, my life has been easier. They have a big office with a helpful staff. This was a scary topic for me, because i didn't expect my vision to decline at 24 years of age. So i made the appointment, and went through an easy process. Found out i have astigmatism, which maybe in the future i'll fix surgically. Pricing was as low as costco. I am happy, and will continue to use them for my future eye health needs. Conveniently they have a glasses store connected to them with their own dedicated staff. I left work 2hrs early only to get slammed by traffic. Doctor said he can only do half of his job today and the other half another day because i was going to be 15min late. It never takes a long time to get back to Antioch from work, but today it did. Called another doctor and right away got me in the same day with no crappy service. Avoid these people at all costs! Dr. Linder was gracious enough to modify a loaner pair while I wait for the arrival of my new glasses. Wow!! Way beyond what I expected. Let me start by saying the dr is very nice and when I was actually able to reach him directly my questions were answered right away. We took my 3 year old in for an appointment around the 4th of July after a referral from her dr and a fail eye exam in the pediatrician office. I called twice and left voice mails to schedule an appointment. After the second message I received a call back to schedule an appointment. We showed up for our appointment about 15 mintues early and we were seen after about 20 mins. We started with a quick eye test in a small room toward to front of the office and asked to return to the waiting room. About 5 minutes later we were called back into an actual room. The dr was great with my daughter. He had a few toys to help guide her to do what he needed her to and had a balloon video to distracted her as well. We found out she did infact need glasses for reading and preschool. We go back into the wait room and wait about an hour or more before we are called to look at glasses. We were told they had never seen insurance like ours so they had to call to verify. We picked out glasses and signed all of our paperwork. We were in office for a total of 2 hours and 5 minutes. Ive never had glasses so I dont have a comparison but I think that a long time to except a 3 year old to sit still quietly. Fast forward 2 weeks later the glasses are ready and we go in for pick up. This is where my real issue with this office starts. I asked to speak with the Dr to clarify the use of the glasses. I wasnt sure if she needed to wear them while watching tv or not. A simple question that would take no time for the dr to answer. I'm INFORMED by the woman at the billing desk that my daughter needs to wear them all the time. I explained what the Dr said at our initial visit and her response was a simple No She needs to wear them all the time. Another woman walks over at this time and they talk among eachother about my daughter having such a strong prescription that she definitely needs to wear them at all time. I was under the impression from our initial visit that her prescription was a minor one. I asked to have the dr clarify and was ignored. After a few minutes of going back and forth I asked to speak with the dr so that I can clarify the usage because at this point I am uncomfortable with her wearing them at all since I am being told mixed directions. One of the women went into the back and returned a few minutes later to tell me my daughter needs to wear the glasses at all times. At this point I'm extremely frustrated because I am unable to speak with the Dr directly and the front desk staff is being extremely pushy on when my daughter needs to wear her glasses. I called another optometrist to get a second opinion. I was able to speak with the Dr directly right away. He offered to go over what he could with me on the phone and if I felt I still needed to come in and get a second opinion he would be happy to see my daughter. Long story short during our conversation I told him my daughter prescription strength and was told its most like for reading. I called this office back to try and speak with the dr again. They were closed for lunch so I left a message. I waited until 30 mins before closing and as I figured I had not yet receive a call back. I called the office once again and the reception said she was there when I was in earlier and that my daughter needs to wear them all the time. At this point I'm just getting PO because no-one will let me speak with the Dr and I have no direct way to get in contact with him. Eventually the receptionist told me the dr was with a patient but she would have him give me a call. He called about 15 minutes later and surprise she needs them for READING not 24/7. The dr did not apologize for the tough time getting in conact with him or for the wrong information given by the front desk but he did clarify my question which is all I wanted in the first place. I would suggest the front staff not answer for the Dr when a patient needs clarification and if a patient needs to speak with the Dr, let them. Next year when my daughter needs an eye exam it, sadly it won't be here. The other Optometry office that I spoke with was extremely nice and when the front desk wasn't sure how to answer my question, they consulted the Dr. I'd rather you ask questions than misinform a customer. read more

I am so happy I called Eye to Eye Optometry Group & scheduled an appointment. I left a message on their voicemail one evening and actually got a call back first thing the next morning. My daughter and I went in and had an excellent experience. We both were seen by Dr. Linder. We LOVE her! She is thee sweetest Optometrist we have ever met. More importantly, the accuracy of my new glasses are amazing! I am 50+ yrs old and have been wearing glasses for 40yrs. My RX is PERFECT! The lab did a great job and the staff was helpful. My eye exam was good, but the ordering of my glasses was horrible. I had a voucher from VSP. It left me with a 72.00 balance which I paid. Then the next day I canceled and asked for a refund since I could not have protective coating or glare coating added even if I paid for it..some type of rule for the voucher...but my classmate who had the same VSP voucher at a different optometrist was able to. This was Nov 7 2018, today is Dec 13 2018, and still no refund. When I called they said the doctor sends out refunds end of month....well that should have been last month! Not happy. A friend recommended Dr. Linder to us since we weren't satisfied with our previous one. I'm so glad we came here on 10/29/16. Dr. Linder was so Awesome & the person who worked the front desk was so welcoming & she also adjusted my glasses for me. I didn't even ask her to. With my previous Optometry my glasses were giving me a headache & contacts from them were not comfortable. During my exam I told Dr. Linder I wish i could wear contacts for a Halloween party that I was DJing that night. She gave me some samples for that night. So, I tried them & they were 99% perfect. She told me that seeing close will be a little hard since they weren't exactly my prescription but, it was perfect. I highly recommend this place & I can't wait to get new glasses! read more

I like Dr. Linder's personality okay (she's friendly and easy going) but I'm not sure my refractions have been all that great. At night, I have a lot of glare/halos coming off lights that makes it difficult to judge distances. When I purchased my glasses here, I was surprised that they did no fitting. I was handed my glasses; told to try them on; looked straight in the face and nothing else. My experience, with an optometrist I saw for many years, is that he would fit the ear pieces so that my glasses were not sliding down my nose or falling off when I bent over. Another time I had the prescription updated in a favorite pair and they have fallen apart on me twice, when they never did before, and I've worn them for at least ten years. When I took them in for repair less than a year after the lenses were updated, the optician would have charged me to fix them if I hadn't protested. Not to mention that they wouldn't sit straight on my face after he "fixed" them. I have found Eye to Eye rather frustrating to do business with and am looking for an optometrist that feels more service oriented. read more
