Cut my daughter and left her with not only scars but uneven eyebrows. The first time she went a young girl did them quite better than this most recent time but STILL cut my daughter. Second time and older lady did them, she left her with more than 9 cuts all around her eyebrows and as soon as she applied a gel after she was finished my daughter felt a BURNING sensation that lasted up to twenty minutes turns out she had cuts all around her poor eyes. Been going here for 10+ years. Always get the same thing which is just a cleanup because I want my eyebrows to grow thicker. When I brought it up, the owner who was doing my eyebrows kept complaining that I need to get shaping done and saying I need to come no less than once a month. Which is difficult with the price alone and it should not be her business how often I can go get them done. So I was very specific that regardless of the situation, I just want a cleanup. The whole time I was explaining to her I am on medicine for alopecia so I get more hair growth. She refused to acknowledge and spent the entire time complaining that my eyebrows were messy and it's too much work for her. Verbatim. Very rude. At the end, she left my eyebrows messy and still proceeded to try to charge $20!!! Which is insane because it used to be less than $10. Even though the price of everything went up, she is already greedy with $15+ for a cleanup. When I complained about the price, she pulled out her secret menu behind the register that says "$20 + for shaping". I was very specific that I did NOT want shaping and just a cleanup. Safe to say she's lost my business after 10 years of loyalty. I hope everyone else doesn't get scammed the way she tried to scam me. read more

Underrated and affordable threading salon! The owner is my favorite brow tech to get. The place has grown and they now have 4 chairs and several other brow techs. The place isn't super glamorous, but they do a good job. I love supporting local businesses and this is no exception. Fridays are super busy and you will most likely have to wait. If I could put 0 stars I would. This place is horrible. First of all the lady was rude and was judging me on how grown out my eyebrows were and making comments about how long it had been since I got them done , second of all her breath smelt absolutely HORRIBLE, and third of all while she was threading my eyebrows she yanked out my nose piercing with the thread and she said she gave me a "discount " apparently because of how bad my eyebrows were grown out and she told me to come back in exactly 3 weeks so next time my eyebrows aren't so grown out. My daughter has been going here for awhile now and just like the previous reviewer wrote, she took out a small patch and then denied that she did so!My daughter demanded a refund but the lady refused. I decided to step in and call myself and threatened to write a bad review and only then did she agree to a refund. However, when my daughter went back to get the refund, she tried to give her store CREDIT!! Now, why would she ever want to go back to a place that screwed up her eyebrows?? She eventually gave her $10 cash of the $17.25 that was originally paid. I had to call again and demand the remaining $7.25, because at this point it is the principle of it all. I feel like a simple apology by the employee, or an acknowledgement of the error would have remedied this situation and they would not have lost us as future customers. read more

Ive been going to this place for years, I've never had any problems with this place. However there's a new younger petite girl that when she did my eyebrows she took a small patch out of my eyebrow and never told me, she tried covering it up, now I have to draw on one of eyebrows that I would always keep natural. Make sure if you get the newer person check your eyebrows after, or I recommend just letting the owner do your eyebrows or the other girls that have been there longer. In my experience, I thought it was good. I went in the morning their was one person ahead of me. The lady seem friendly. I had done treading before, but it's been along time. So, it wasn't so bad when she did my upper eyebrows; it's when she got to the lower eyebrows . It hurts! She told me "since you haven't done treading in a very long time - it's like your first time, like a baby; it will hurt for you". I rated a 4 star, because she could of waited for a second and continue the treading. I had to move one of my leg ( like I was having a seizure lol) so she can stop for a bit. I just tried this place out, based on the reviews. I was not enjoying my previous threading place. They did a fine job. Just always felt like I was a burden for coming in. But this place was very nice. The young girl helped me. I didn't catch her name. But she did a great job. I did a full face, and it was perfect. And she made my eyebrows look the best they ever have. I wish I could like this place a little more than I do because it's so cheap and the work she does is great but.... I felt so uncomfortable there. I'm very sensitive around my eyes area and so I would tear up when she threaded my brows,well she told me "why are you crying?? You cry baby" I was shocked lol I kinda just laughed it off. I've had a five star experience here during every visit. I'm not very particular about threading versus waxing, it's a matter of how well the shape comes out. Threading is uncomfortable but they do a good job here so the discomfort is minimal. I like my eyebrows cleaned up but not shaped too much because they can appear too thin. This is usually difficult for brow ladies to understand but here it's never been a problem. I experienced irritation the first time I did my lip (never on my brows) and no irritation since. They take appointments (and honor them!) when necessary and I really appreciate that as I'm usually on a schedule. However, when I've visited with no appointment it's never been a long wait. The place is very cute with hot pink walls and huge mirrors. Your threading is done in public, like most threading shops. Most of the customers seem to be regulars, which speaks well of the business. read more

First yelp review and of course it's a rant. If you want to be ignored and scolded for not coming in regularly and you like thin brows, this is the place. I'm still not sure why I continue to come here when I've received bad customer service multiple times. I used to go in consistently until I started noticing that they make my brows much thinner than I would like, but God forbid you request/say anything to her cause she will surely make you feel dumb. That's why I would take a break and allow my brows to grow and get full again, only to come in and be told "everybody busy but you always do this. Only take 5 minutes" AND then charge me more because you took longer on me. Clearly this place is doesn't care about customer satisfaction. no thanks. I'm done with her. Came here is 10 mins before they opened on a Thursday and there were 2 people before us and by the time I was in the chair there were 3 people waiting. This seemed like THE place to go for brows in Santa Maria. It's in a central location, in a small strip mall on Broadway. I would say the service was great. Fast and simple. But I would say she did my brows thinner than normal. If I come back in the future I would really really emphasize that I want just a clean up. Definitely worth the 10 bucks to get my brows threaded though. read more
