I came in with too-long bangs and hair that just desperately needed a change! Rosie washed and cut my hair along with a balayage. After showing an example picture of what I wanted, she took inspiration from it but adjusted tone/color/length so it would work with my skin tone and face shape best! I walked out looking amazing! Only thing problematic could be the lack of mask by another stylist. This was not an issue for me as Rosie had a mask on whole time with the windows open & there was only that other stylist and client in the building. :) Overall, great experience! read more

I came here some time ago and did not leave a review because I wasn't on yelp. But I finally made an account and want to let you all know that the owner Kourtney who apparently has 15 years of experience or more doesn't know how to do a simple layered cut, which is what I requested. Instead she gave me something more like a mullet. My jaw dropped -- she refused to give me a refund. I certainly expected more from the owner in terms of knowledge/ expertise and service. Instead, she f***ed-up my hair and provided awful service. I don't know about the other hair stylists, they seemed nice, but I would NEVER recommend this place. read more

Best salon in Santa Maria by far! The shop is always clean & all of the stylists are friendly & courteous. Stephanie (all of our family goes to her) is very knowledgeable & skilled. My hair stylist used to be at Posh, but has moved - and am I glad! There is an operator at Posh that is very, very vocal about her political views, and you couldn't help but hear her because of the close quarters. I would often feel offended and/or angry to the point where I was almost thinking of finding another stylist, so that I wouldn't have to go to Posh and listen to this woman. read more

This place is such a gem! Stephanie was both friendly & hospitable and she did an AMAZING job on my hair.She was very flexible with schedule times and even brushed off the fact that I was late (sorry!) I showed up with a vague idea & a few different pictures as to what I wanted but it was like she read my mind & I absolutely love how my hair turned out. The salon is clean, quiet & the other staff were just as friendly. They do offer coffee & other beverages & really make you feel comfortable. I was looking to have my hair cut, colored and styled but didn't have time to search for many salons. I saw good reviews for Posh, and I would like to add another. Stephanie helped me right away, put me on her schedule in the same week, was very friendly and open-minded, helped me find the exact style and color I was looking for, and best of all was very patient with me. I came back multiple times and only went to Posh for the duration I was in Santa Maria. I love this studio. It's in the best location in town, and the stylists are super friendly and knowledgeable. I get my hair done with Kourtney. Her attitude is amazing, and I love her style. She's professional and easy to talk to. A lot of other hair studios in town can be too gossipy and bashing not only of the clients, but each other. I have never had that experience in this studio. The environment is inviting and real. They're not trying to push products like a lot of other studios, because they understand that it's about real people. Kourtney recently did my hair and my bridesmaids hair for my wedding. She had great communication the weeks leading up to the wedding and the day of to ensure that everything was perfect. It appears to be open. Today, 6 June, I met these nice ladies at a local school where girls donated hair to a charity. The Posh crew cut the hair for free. They described the salon's location and were very clear the business is open. I just called the number listed and got a recordiging announcing the business name and asking callers to leave a name and number. I plan on visiting Posh very soon for a haircut!. read more

Love getting my hair done here. It may look like a little hole in the wall from the street, but don't let that fool you. It is a beautiful little salon, and the staff there is great. They seem to be very flexible with appointments and will work to get you an appointment in a pinch. My hair stylist is Korin and she is AMAZING. She is a perfectionist and really takes her time to do the best job possible - a trait that anyone getting their hair done would love. read more
