Love ! Very cute nail salon in Arroyo Grande. Extremely professional, clean and adorable vibe with lots of plants. Excellent choice for hard gel. I called and left a message to book an appointment. Got a call back later that same day and received a confirmation text. I love that they don't try to answer the phone while working on clients. It makes it a way better more personal experience. Bummed they won't even answer their phone. Outgoing message states to visit their website to book where you will find that their pedicures are a good $20 more than the average service at any other nail salon in town. They've got some crazy artwork which is impressive but all I wanted was a lousy pedicure, I'm not gonna jump through hoops and play receptionist to get it - what do you think this is, Walmart? I'll leave this place for the Tourista's ‍ PS: While Brooke couldn't find the time to pick the telephone up and answer it like a regular, professional business does, I see she did find the time and energy to write a backhanded comment which again, it's not very professional. We can go tit for tat silly girl, but I guarantee you, you're gonna end up on the losing end of this. All you have to do is provide (your supposed) excellent services with a little bit of customer service and you'll do just fine. I live in Long Beach and I'm so sad I cant be a regular here. I called the day of to ask about openings and whoever I spoke to on the phone was friendly and accommodating! I had a gel manicure and pedicure with Terah & I could not be more happy with the result. She took her time and asked lots of questions about how I wanted them done. From our brief conversation, I can tell she is an amazing and hard working person. She has an incredible talent. I love how my nails came out and she gave me really useful advice for how to grow them out and explained the differences between different types of polish and how they can protect or damage your nails. She is extremely knowledgeable. I had accidentally picked a mood changing polish for my pedicure and she took so much care to find a color that matched that I was happy with. She is a professional through and through. On top of that, personally I hate when nail salons are too bright and sanitary smelling but the energy in this salon was really cozy and unrushed. The TV was playing at the perfect volume. They have a little Christmas tree lit. Everyone there seemed happy & in a good mood. It was a nice place to spend an hour. Many nail salons where I live rush through customers and take on more than they can handle so they always have a long line waiting but not Private Beach. They really take their time and do a quality service. I saw other reviews complaining about the prices, but I think they are completely fair. This is the best nail salon I have ever been to-- customer service, the vibes, and the way my nails looked when I left. You are paying for a top service. It's 100% worth it. read more

LOVED my experience here!! I came in on a Saturday with a group of 3 other girls. We all had manicures, and three of us had pedicures. Walking in it was a fun, trendy and inviting atmosphere. I had two different ladies working on me. The woman doing my pedicure was great! She listened to what I wanted and gave me time to pick it my colors, as I am pretty indecisive. She was gentle and efficient, even buffing out flaws afterwards. The woman who did my manicure was great as well! I think they may have been a mother-daughter duo. She gave me advice with what color I should get, to coordinate with my dress (I was attending a wedding the next day). I in love with the ombré glitter on my hands. I have been a regular customer for about a year now. Prior to that I was blessed the know the children of the ladies who own this shop, as their teacher. Some of the sweetest young ladies I have ever met. This was a direct testament to the wonderful and kind nature of their mothers. The entire staff at Private Beach are welcoming and always ready to lend an ear. Always extremely accommodating and allow clients to be their most authentic selves. Best nail salon on the Central Coast I've been going to Brooke at Private Beach consistently for the last 8 months and just had my wedding nails done here alongside my bridal party--always flawless. The atmosphere feels like you're apart of the family and they truly love what the do. I get hard gel which keeps my nails SO strong and I can grow them out easily. The salon is VERY clean and I never feel uncomfortable like I have felt in some walk-in salons. Both Brooke and Kim have done my manicures, Casey and Alyssa do my pedicures and they knock it out of the park every time. They listen to exactly what I want and there's no just crossing your fingers hoping they do something at least similar. The nail techs did have on masks although some didn't have them up over their nose or had them off all together while eating or drinking. I find it very professional of the nail technicians to not answer incoming phone calls while they are doing my nails. it ensures them that they are able to get me out of the salon on time while doing amazing professional work on my nails. I have called in the past, and by no later than a day, they get back to me after leaving a voicemail. I also book through them online as I find it more efficient and I can compare the time and dates that work best for me. You can also view your upcoming nail appts. Not only do they do amazing nail work, but they use new nail files, buffers, clean towels and sanitized nail supplies on each and every one of their customers. A lot of the nail salons in town do not. For the time that they spend on pedicures and nails, their prices are very good. read more
