Hard to find in a mall but very glad I did! The place is very clean and elegant. The chairs are very comfortable and the decor makes the room fit together. I went there with a friend and there was only one lady there doing eyebrows. It's an open space that has about 5 chairs and a place to lounge if you are waiting. The women my hair was very hands on in showing you where to place your hand and making sure that it's "tight enough" for her to do threading. It was a bit painful and cost $12 to get your eyebrows done. My eyebrows turned out great and can't wait to go back again! read more

Eyebrow Designer 21 has two locations in the Christiana Mall: they have the physical store which is rather new and the kiosk outside of Lush Cosmetics. I prefer the kiosk however they are the same company. I actually cannot get my eyebrows done anywhere else in Delaware. They shape my eyebrows so nicely and I am always amazed how much better my face looks after getting out of the chair. The employees are kind enough for the short interaction you have with them and although the prices are very expensive, I believe it's worth it. When I traveled elsewhere in the mall to get my eyebrows done I always leave disappointed and regretting not coming back to Eyebrow Designer 21. I've grown to like this place so much it's difficult for me to get my eyebrows done when I'm back home in NY and like them as much as I like them when I leave this hair removal kiosk. read more

Not sure why the reviews are sooo bad, but I had a great experience. I was in town for the weekend and desperately needed my brows done. I stumbled across this spot while in the mall, and Rabii got me out the way. It's been a minute since I've done threading, so my eyes sweated a little bit, lol. Look, I try not to be that crazy person who leaves an awful review because they're pissed off but I really care about my eyebrows and if you do too here is advice from someone who cares so much about theirs: do not go here. They will ruin your eyebrows. The first time they cleaned my (perfectly shaped, fuzzy middle) brows just fine, but managed to put a hole in my friend's eyebrows. I've gone to this location many times to get my eyebrows threaded and usually I'm very happy. Unfortunately my most recent visit led to the destruction of my eyebrows. The woman who helped me off the bat was short and not friendly. I asked her to clean my eyebrows and not change the shape. She thinned out my eyebrows to about half the thickness they were at, and made them horribly uneven. At the end of my treatment I wasn't offered any calming lotion for the burning pain of getting half of my eye brows ripped out. It was the exact same result for my friend who went with me. I'm surprised I still have eyebrows after my last visit. I specifically told the young lady not to thin my eyebrows out but she decided to do so anyways. This was also the most painful threading experience I've ever had. She was literally hacking away and cutting my eyebrows in a haphazard way that I was scared to open my eyes and see what she did. I went -for the first time- with my wife this morning to have a full facial threading for her. We were served by Rabi, an Indian young lady. My wife wasn't happy because of several reasons: 1- The shop in a kiosk, small shop in the mall hallway. 2- The threading was in rush and not accurate. We told her, please be slowly. She was like "Are you telling me how I do my job!" 3- Small hairs still in my wife's face. Rabi was saying "I can't remove it with this thread!" 4- The lady has a harsh attitude and didn't like us commenting on her work. She was like "I'm the expert, what do you want!" I definitely recommend Rabi. I've had one other woman do my brows there, and my only request each time is to clean up my brows and keep the shape. I hate thin brows and I'm always paranoid they're going to remove too much. The one other lady I had (not sure of her name) went a little to thin for my liking. The second time I had Rabi, and I made sure to ask for her schedule so I would know when to come. She's friendly and does a really good job. Now, I go there almost every 2 weeks. The worse ever. I had my eyebrows threaded and when she was finished she asked me if they were ok. Unfortunately I didn't have my glasses with me and I really wasn't able to see all the hair she left on my brows until I got home. I honestly can't believe that she could think my eyebrows were done correctly. She left so much hair on my brows and I'm not talking small light colored hairs either, they were long black hairs. I'm so upset with the service I got here this evening. I'm still so filled with guilt over my impulse decision to stop. Typically I reach out to a small business with my opinion before writing unfavorable reviews. I don't feel that kind of respect is warranted. The woman who serviced me was cold and spoke under her breath. I had to ask for clarification on most everything she said. My eyebrows were once thick with a nice natural arch. Now they are half as thick with barely any arch. I only needed a touch up. After I left here I walked to Sephora to see what kind of repair makeup or products were available. I didn't get the name of the lady who did my eyebrows but I was pretty disappointed in her work. My brows are very thinned out and the shape is just really out of wack. Very inconsistent work. One woman does an amazing job. I have tried this place a number of times with different people and they are mostly terrible except for her. I wish I knew her name. Today the employee was sitting there with her baby which seemed a little unprofessional and she completely ruined my eyebrows. I've been working hard at the direction of the woman I actually like to have my eyebrows be a little thicker and to have them grow out and she completely messed that process up for me. One of my eyebrows has a dent in it. And I know eyebrows don't typically match perfectly but mine are completely different now. Awful!! I would not recommend this place for eyebrow threading. It is not worth the price. I was left with a burning sensation in my eyebrows and the areas surrounding them. I was surprised to be handed over a facial tissue to clean up on my own after the lady was done threading. She did not apply a soothing aloe gel or moisturizer to prevent burning after threading which is a norm except at this place. Avoid at all costs. The girl who did my eyebrows was talking with her co-worker during the threading process with the thread in her mouth, and made one of my eyebrows completely crooked. When I pointed it out to her , she said she did it on purpose since whoever had done my eyebrows earlier had messed it up . WRONG - I had well shaped eyebrows before and now I have two dissimilar ugly ones that are so noticeable that people point it out. On top of that they charge you 12$ for a terrible job. We have had threading done at other places and we were very pleased with the results. My daughter and I were at the mall and decided to get our brows done. The woman rushed through the job and both of us had several hairs remaining. I asked her to redo mine brows and she barely did it the second time. It was not worth it. Poor customer service. STAY AWAY THEY RUINED MY EYEBROWS! not only did they ruin my thick eyebrows but she purposely made them thin and when I left I had a gash through one of them, oh and it gets better after I called her out on it she argued with me on how it was not her fault (so did someone else miraculously take hold of the thread when she was not looking)? I would definitely NOT recommend this place!! It took me three times for me to realize they just can't get it right. The first time I went there was an older lady that arched my eyebrows who made me look like I was surprised all the time and it took months for my eyebrows to go back. The second time I went spoke to Rabi because her brows were pretty nice and I told her about my experience with the other lady who she said no longer worked there, so I let Rabi do my eyebrows, I told her how I like them and she told me that I don't want them arched, I just wanted them cleaned up, so we agree on that, when she was done I tell her I feel she took to much off as I told her I like them thick, she told me to remind her next time not take off so much from the bottom, so yesterday I go again after allowing them six months to grow back. I go to Rabi again first we talked about what I wanted I literally showed where I did not want her to take off and again I told her I like them thick and again she did my eyebrows the exact same way she did them last time and I was furious as we just discussed exactly what I wanted, she tells me that if she had of done what I wanted then they wouldn't have much shape to them and would only be a straight line and that everyone wants their eyebrows the way she did mine. She totally disregarded what I request based on her opinion of what everyone else wants. I learned my lesson to stay away from that place.
