The only drawback was that it was a bit painful & I've been getting my face threaded for over 20 years but this made me feel like a newbie. I'm giving them 1 star because WHEN they are open, they do a good job HOWEVER, the past 5 times I've been here, I've waited for them to open at the time they say they do. Waited 20-30 minutes before I give up and leave since no one opened the shop. Now they say they're closed at 4pm, texted them at 330pm and they said they're closed now? I like to support local Ripon businesses but obviously can't when they're not open the times they say they are. I know things come up, but not 5 times straight. I will be going back to one I used to go to in Manteca because... they're ACTUALLY open. read more

I recently moved to Ripon and I wanted to find a new place to get my eyebrows threaded since my old place is now too far from me. I found this place on Yelp and decided to give them a call. I was told that to get my eyebrows threaded it would cost $10 and upper lip would cost $5 which I thought was a fair price. The place was very clean, spacious, and orderly and the woman who did my eyebrows was welcoming and kind. I asked for a clean up, but she ended up taking a lot more off the bottom of my brows and thinning them out and giving them more of an arched shape. In the moment, I told myself it wasn't that big of a deal, it was probably just what she considered to be a clean up. I've had my eyebrows done several times and I know that it hurts, but she used a lot of pressure, so much so that I saw little specks of blood between my brows when I got back home and really examined my brows, something I had never experienced before. A couple days after the threading I started breaking out heavily under my brows, between my brows, and above my upper lip. I hadn't worn any makeup that day or the day following because I have a fear that makeup will clog my pores and cause breakouts, but I got breakouts anyway. She didn't have any witch hazel toner to offer which usually helps with any irritation from threading. When she finished threading my eyebrows she grabbed a little pair of scissors to trim them, but didn't use a comb to help guide her. Once I got back home and I got a better look at my eyebrows I saw that she hadn't trimmed the front of my brows evenly. The front of my eyebrow on the left side was shorter than the front of my eyebrow on the right side. Although she was very kind and the location is really convenient, I won't be going back because of how much trouble I had with my eyebrows the days/weeks following the threading. They looked okay from afar and she did make the bottom of them very clean and precise, but overall they didn't come out the way I wanted them to. read more

So I usually go get my brows waxed but this time I let them grow out for a few months a decided to get them threaded and when I walked in and set down I said I jut want a small clean up and I want them thick so please don't make them thin. When I got to the car I looked in the mirror and saw two completely different eyebrows. I don't leave reviews ever so you have to understand how frustrated I am to make one. One in thiner and long and the other is thicker and short. Filling them in doesn't even help. So just make sure you really tell them what you want and look in the mirror before leaving. read more
