Me and my eyebrows love this place! I discovered Eyebrow Threading in the Target Plaza on a work lunch break/Target shopping trip. I'd usually get my brows threaded at another place way on the opposite side of town. However, my brows were looking quite tragic and I had no time to go to my usual place that day or the next due to their business hours and my scheduling conflicts. So out of desperation, I walked right in and was greeted with friendly customer service and they had me in a chair right away. When my brows were done, all I could say was "Wow!" I almost felt bad for cheating on my usual place, but the ladies here did a splendid job and I was very pleased with the outcome. Not to mention, they charge less than what I'd expected. I've been coming here for almost 2 years, and Rajbir is the very best in Rancho! If you are squeamish or have sensitive skin, this is a great salon. She's always quick, but does an excellent job, and she won't let me go if there's even a hair out of place. I've never waited more than 10 minutes in line, and that only happened once. Usually, I'm in and out in less than that much time. I've been here three or four times now and yes, the 5 stars rating is accurate. She shapes them perfectly, listens to you if you tell her you don't want them too thin, and it's very nearly painless. As in, I can tell my pain receptors are going off, but it doesn't even feel like pain cause it's so negligible. The space is also clean and cute, with some sparkly jewelry for sale if that's your thing. There's a $0.25 charge if you use your card, and they accept cash tips. I went here once and will never go back. The experience wasn't personable at all. I asked to have my eyebrows cleaned up and the lady was fast and aggressive and when she showed me my eyebrows in the mirror I was speechless. I rushed to pay and get out and not panic in front of everyone. My eyebrows were pencil thin and one was noticeably higher than the other! This was a horrible experience. The best eyebrow threading place in Sacramento is actually 20 mins out of the way in Rancho Cordova. I have been burned by the unprofessionalism and inconsistent results of many (did I say many? I meant ALL) of the other threading establishments in Sac so I really don't mind. Rajbir is awesome and shapes my eyebrows consistently well time after time. I thought my eyebrows were super uneven naturally but she said that someone had been shaping them that way and making it look worse. Now the patches are slowly growing back and my brows are looking better by the day. So happy I found her! I came from Utah and it was my close friend who does my eyebrow waxing. I was a little worried how expensive it will be here in California. But I was wrong it is $1 cheaper though. I like the fact that the lady who does threading in this shop did both waxing and threading to me yesterday to make sure my eyebrows will look nice and clean for $9. Not too impressed. I originally wanted to see Raj since all of the comments said she was the best (but she was out this day). I asked an older Indian lady who worked there to clean and shape my eyebrows. Ultimately, I had to go home and tweeze them more because the weren't very clean cut. The place was so cold and unwelcoming. I asked if they take walk-ins, she had no clue what I was saying. Then I tried a little harder to communicate with them, now at this point I'm a little nervous getting in the chair hoping my brows will be okay. One of the most painful threading I've ever gotten! She did cut me very mildly, she didn't even stop to make sure I was okay or ease up the pain, and there is no after care treatment. Tried this place for the first time this afternoon, and was impressed. The price was very affordable, my eyebrows came out perfect but what I really liked about this place, what will keep me coming back was that she actually TALKED to me about my eyebrows as she was threading. She spoke about how my eyebrows were a little uneven (I have a small scar on my eyebrow), a little short (due to my over plucking) and how with her help she can remedy it. She also spoke about their natural shape and how they are supposed to look, not how we usually try and make them look by plucking. I've gotten my eyebrows done at many places over the years but I really appreciated how she spoke about them and not just did them. Pretty sloppy work in my opinion. Went in with them shaded in because I told her I wanted to keep the shape I shaded in. She insisted on removing the shading so she can "see" and I shouldn't have let her because she apparently "saw" a different shape entirely, taking more off and leaving holes. It's located in the Target shopping center in Rancho right next to Michael's. The shop is nice and clean. I walked in without an appointment and it didn't take long at all. Paru was the girl who helped me and she did a great job. They also give you a stamp card that leads up to free eyebrow threading. I'll be coming here more often! read more
