Since the move from West Covina to Azusa, this location has really gone downhill. The optometrists themselves are great. Dr. Morris is wonderful and Dr. Bun is awesome, but the office staff has been difficult to work with. I originally ordered a pair of sunglasses and was told they would arrive in two to three weeks. A few days later, I got a call saying it would actually take four months. I switched to a different pair just to get them sooner. When the glasses finally came in, the prescription was off. After waiting weeks, I went in to pick them up again, only to be told the new lenses do not fit my frames and I would have to come back again. This whole process has been frustrating and disappointing. Unfortunately, I will not be returning in the future. read more

Great office staff! My husband, son and myself all came in and got excellent care here. Prices are a bit high but I love my frames and contacts. The missing star was for the children's selection of glasses. While they do have children's frames the selection is small and I had to go to another optometrist to purchase frames that he liked. 4/15/23 Dr. Bun is so kind, friendly, and professional optometrist who considered my needs and kept her promise for one and a half weeks for getting my new contact lenses. She re-exam my vision for this new pair. So caring she is I love my new lenses but she still did one adjustment for a perfect vision with the best contact lenses for me. Wow! Weird, unfriendly and crazy experience. Made appointment for 3pm. Got tied up at work. Called to advise I wasn't able to make it and could I go now. She says we close in 30 min. All I need is to look at your selection of glasses it won't take but 10-15 min. We're closing up already..? Really? 30 min before your closing up. I rescheduled appointment. When I got there I felt like I was in the twilight zone. Unfriendly, cold greeting. Then the girls that stands up to take me two steps to see glasses immediately takes me to cheapest glasses and says these are the cheapest glasses we have....??? What the heck. Back to rave about these amazing people again! Dr Bun, Dafne and Gracie are amazing and helpful as usual. With my Covid brain, I lost one year of my life and couldn't figure out what happened since I come here every year. Took lots of very patient verification from Dr Bun, Dafne and Gracie to double check my records and insurance info to figure out how I lost the year. (Long story) But today I rushed in at 4:35pm to complete the order of my glasses when the office was closed at 4:30pm today. Dafne patiently waited for me and spent the time with me to complete the order for me. Her mannerism and professionalism was so appreciated. There was no indication of any impatience or annoyance at all when she had to work over closing time on a Friday afternoon. She accommodated me and gave me the best service still. I went in to tightening my sunglasses and people were so nice and helpful. I waited for 5 mins and it was done. I wanted to pay but they insisted not to charge. I will definitely come back next time. I have been a patient of Dr. Bun and her staff for about 4 years now. I have only had positive experiences at this office. Dr. Bun and her staff are very knowledgeable in what they do and take the time to explain everything you are not informed about. I have been fitted for both contact lenses and prescription glasses at this office. The optician staff here is wonderful. They take the time to help you pick out the frame that most suits you and are very honest about what the look; prices are decent too. I suffer from dry eyes but once Dr. Bun switched my contact lens brand to dailies, I no longer have that problem. There are a variety of contact lenses offered here and Dr. Bun will offer samples to determine what brand fits better for your eyes. I am glad I was able to find a brand that was both comfortable and affordable. Overall, I am satisfied and happy with the care I have received here. I have been going to this office for years. I recently had very cloudy vision and Dr Bun examined my eyes and determined that I had cataracts in both eyes. She was so thorough in explaining to me how this condition could be corrected. I was very scared but she was so reassuring. I was referred to this office so I made an appointment. It's located across from Edward's Cinema in a big building that is shared with several other companies. There's a lot of available parking. Their office is on the first floor next to the Wells Fargo ATM Machines just up a few steps. It's very convenient because they have an entry in the front of the building adjacent to the Wells Fargo ATM Machine and there's also an entry inside the building. I was greeted immediately by the Front Desk Girls as soon as I walked in. It is always nice to feel welcome so Brownie Points for them! The office is very nice and clean. I was seen by Dr. Thear Bun. She is so sweet and extremely helpful. She went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable with the glasses I was potentially trying to get. Picking out new glasses is overwhelming and sooo time consuming and she was really patient with me. I think I tried on every available frames there! LOL I hate to feel rushed and that I'm taking too long to pick out what I want but she let me go through all of their selections. She was working at a desk nearby so when I had questions, she was able to help me right away. I love LOVE my new GLASSES!!! They have so many selections of High End and affordable glasses there. They even mentioned if I saw a specific frame I liked somewhere else, they could order it for me if they carry that brand in their office. She also helped me pick the most comfortable contact lenses and I am absolutely happy with them! Everything was ready in one week. Amazing! I called in for an appointment and they were able to fit me in the next day! I had my eye exam with Dr. Bun. Dr. Bun is very friendly, professional, knowledgeable and thorough. She took time to explain step-by-step what she was doing. I never felt like she was trying rush through to take the next patient. Dr. Bun answered all my questions and concerns. He answered all of my questions, was incredibly personable, and really seemed to care about getting my prescription perfect for me. Went back later to pick out frames. I believe the associate who helped me was named Erik. Also very personable, gave me good feedback on which frames looked good on me. Even honored a $25 off yelp deal on the balance remaining on my frames and lenses after insurance. I don't believe I've ever had such an efficient and satisfying experience at the eye doctor. Dr. Bun and the staff are great! Everyone was kind, professional, and patient. I started off with a good impression since Grace (I think) was very nice about scheduling an appointment for me and explaining how my healthcare factored in etc. The assistant (can't remember his name) that checked over everything for me before the actual exam was really courteous and explained everything he was going to do with each machine etc. As for the exam, talk about thorough. Dr. Bun checked absolutely EVERYTHING, not just vision tests but the overall health of the eye. She noticed I did have a little issue with dry eyes and even offered me a little sample of what she prefers for eye drops! Overall, color me impressed. 5 stars for the best optometry office I've ever visited. The staff was friendly, thorough, professional and their pandemic safety measures are top notch. I was very impressed of how patient Gracie was on the phone with me and explaining all the pricing and intake procedures. When I arrived for my appointment I was very warmly greeted by Katie. I was not scheduled with any other patients, and every staff member maintained 6 foot distance when appropriate. Dr. Bun was succinct, factual and did NOT try to upsell me on anything I didn't need. She explained everything I would be charged for and didn't get frustrated when I didn't understand. Later when I asked for a copy of my prescription, it was easy they conveniently emailed it to me. In the past i have dealt with other optometry offices withholding me from having my prescription. I will definitely be picking up my contacts from them for years to come and getting any exams I need. I've been happy with the doctors they can be very respectful but not the case for Katy who might be the office manager i do drawings of children and had asked one of the drs if she wanted one and I didn't hear from her. So I called to get her email and Katy answered and asked me in an accusatory question what I'd need the email for. now I'm a gay woman and she knows that it made me feel like she felt I was going to do something inappropriate talking to the dr. Well I let that go. I am currently having issues with my eyes and I felt mixed up about what course I should do first. At first Katy was helpful, then she started to talk down to me in a demeaning tone that was unnecessary. it was downright hateful. My partner and I have been with them a long time but we're moving on. She is not helping this business by talking to people that way so we've decided to take our business elsewhere.
