Horrible. They cancelled my daughters appointment 4 times now, my appointment twice, and my mother twice. They keep making appointments with zero intentions of them actually happening. Excuse after excuse. Went here last year to get my daughter her contacts for the year. The year is up and you need an exam in order to order another year's worth. After the 4th cancellation I asked how am I supposed to order before she heads off to college again if you keep cancelling her appointment? Lady said we can give you 1 week trial worth. LOL. Then what? Joke of a place. We went up the road to the place in Cape Carteret and they got her in that day so she can get her new prescription before going back to school. I would rate ZERO STARS IF POSSIBLE!! Their warranty policy is basically highway robbery. They don't honor the policy whatsoever and end up charging full price to replace. This has happened to my son and we ended up eating the $362 cost. The same situation just happened to mother in law. This is unfair practice and the employees seem very unfamiliar with warranty policy. The company is great at putting you in a bad position leaving no options. They deserve a zero star review. Don't waste your time or money with this business. I ordered lenses on 3/14 and paid in full at that time. They kept assuring me that they were shipped and on the way. 5/18 they arrived but were the wrong lenses. Right ones arrived a week later. Received a bill in July for services on 5/18. Have called repeatedly for explanation of new bill with the assurance that someone will call me. No one has called. They are a scam. Read other reviews on different platforms and similar situation. They charge high amount for frames and lenses, take 2-3 month, finally arrive with something wrong, charge custom for their mistake, and refuse to return any calls or emails. read more

My husband went here 8/10/2020 and ordered a pair of prescription sunglasses. Total cost was almost $600, paid in full at that time with cash. Dr said she would have glasses in 3-4 days. The next day staff called and said they were wrong it would take 28 days. 2 days before Labor Day we called and were told another 2 weeks. Well today 9/29/2020, they called and said glasses were ready for pick up. They were the wrong glasses, wrong lenses, and the wrong prescription. After 2 months of patiently waiting this is what he got. Dr said to take that pair and they would get me a new pair ordered. They don't even fit are you serious? Finally he asked for a refund, and the Dr said fine she would put in a request and refund would be mailed in about 3 weeks. I don't even know what to say at this point. I am pretty sure that we are going to have to take these people to small claims court just to get our money back. Unbelievably awful experience In response to the comment left by the company on 9/30/20202: "We are sorry this process takes longer than you prefer" is an inappropriate response. I don't believe ANY customer would find waiting 3 weeks acceptable to receive a refund, when you paid cash at the date of service. Furthermore, when initially requesting the refund in the office that day, the doctor told us that she didn't have that kind of cash on hand, which implies that if she did, she would have refunded then and there. There is NO reason that the office cannot go to their bank, get out the 558.00 refund in cash, and then have corporate send them the check. Why is it that this transaction needs to drag on almost 3 months. I want people to know what kind of business this is, and the completely absurd refund policy your company has, when they are 100% in the wrong. Not even an apology in your response in reference to the ridiculous wait time for the glasses to even arrive, and the fact that the order was wrong in every way. read more

I came here to get fitted for contacts. I came out of pocket to pay for everything upfront and they insisted on pre-ordering the contacts for me even though they said that I would not have to pay for them unless I came to pick them up. They gave me a trial pair of contacts to go home with for the week and as a competitive shooter I realized that these contacts we're not going to be good enough for what I needed. I did not go to pick up the other pack of contacts since they were not going to work for me but I was charged for the many ways. I had to call in and get refunded for what I was charged on the pack of contacts and I asked for my prescription. I was told that they do not give out the prescription there. It was an absolute waste of money for me. I just received a call back months later from these guys asking if I wanted to buy the contacts that they had ordered originally. They tried to tell me that I was at fault for not coming in to finish the prescription process to be able to obtain my prescription. But they were nice enough to offer for me to come back in and re-pay everything to have another fitting and an exam to do it all over again. Got a love that customer service! read more

I'd rate zero stars if I could. Made an appointment to get an eye exam so I could renew my license that expires in 30 days. The guy on the phone scheduled me with a doctor who doesn't take my insurance, and then never notified me of this mistake. After driving 30 minutes with my infant, I arrive to find out "sorry we can't get you in until October". Do not waste your time with this location. Unprofessional, and the rudest front desk receptionist. Customer service is non existent here. read more

Used to be a wonderful place however our experience in the past year has been awful. We have ordered our son's nose piece for his glasses 3 separate times and six months later have yet to receive it. Additionally, we ordered out other son replacement lenses and several months, phone calls and in person visits later, finally received the "we have them, but now have to set up an appointment to cut them" phone call two days ago. I have called only to let the lab's phone ring for almost two minutes without an answer. I have left a voicemail with their reception desk during business hours and never received a phone call back. Being longtime customers, we have recommended them countless times over the years, but will no longer recommend them. It's a shame because they used to be fabulous. I'm not sure what has changed, but I hope they address it. read more

The eye care center was GREAT! I was in town for my wedding and my dad's sun glasses broke. We called the eyecarecenter and Briana was so nice and helpful on the phone. They fixed my dad's glasses right away and wouldn't accept payment! Everyone was polite and friendly and I would definitely recommend them! read more
