The customer service here is remarkable. The staff is all friendly and welcoming. I was greeted and asked if I needed assistance. I think regular eyeglasses with prescription is kind of a steal, but prescription sunglasses are kind of a scam, in my opinion. I bought with my heart and not my wallet this time. Raymond would have loved to have sold me what he had on display (of course who wouldn't), but when I wasn't finding exactly what I was looking for he reached out to his SoCal Lindberg representative and found he had a frame sample of the right shape and size, and another frame of the right color. They also did the research to determine the color of one could be had on the shape of the other. Tammy is always extremely helpful when it comes to selecting the right glasses for him. She is knowledgeable and understands how to recommend frames that are practical for an active child. Most recently, my son's teacher noticed he was struggling to see the board in class. During his eye exam, we learned that his nearsightedness had worsened significantly. We asked whether it might be possible to replace his lenses quickly so he could return to school the next day able to see clearly. Although they had a number of customers ahead of us, Cesar and Tammy worked hard to accommodate us. Cesar, the the lens technician and an instrumental part of the team, was especially kind and reassuring throughout the process. He said he would make sure it was done, and he followed through. Because of his effort, my son was able to go back to school the next day and fully participate in his classes.

Anyway, when I received the glasses, they didn't darken, so I went back in. Without hesitation they apologized profusely (the sign of a good business is admitting mistakes) and within a few days they called with the fixed lenses. Problem solved. Tammy and Dan (Dan the man is always at the BH store) are great at picking the right glasses for your face. You WILL come out a happy camper!

I see the same frames over and over again online but Eyelab has a huge variety of whatever style you may be looking for. I brought in a 12 year old pair of Bvlgari glasses that are my favorite. They have very unique arms and they don't make them anymore. I was afraid they couldn't be fixed after all the abuse I put them through, but Eyelab took care of them in about 5 minutes. The price they quoted me for progressive lenses was extremely reasonable, even without insurance. Give them a try and you'll be impressed!

Okay, no big deal and easy. Picked them up and asked to get them adjusted. That's when it went awry. I figured they'd be experienced and be able to adjust my glasses as I had to have an appointment for pick up. Nope. Save yourself the trouble and get them adjusted elsewhere. They gave it a very valiant effort but execution left a lot to be desired. They didn't break my new glasses but they were not balanced or straight after adjusting. Great taste in frames.

They've been holding sample contacts hostage for weeks because I rescheduled an appointment. I can't come in and just collect my samples and get an updated prescription. I have to see the doctor, and then come back for another appointment, and if I dare to reschedule it - $50 charge. I had to call in every day to see whether they can squeeze me in, and when I cancelled an appointment because my dog is not feeling well, and the vet suggested to come in ASAP at the same time, of course my dog comes in first. They wanted to collect this $50, or they wouldn't give me an appointment. All I need is this damned prescription because I already paid $290 for an exam, but never again. So I paid $50, but... They lost my business. Update, after this review was posted, they called me to inform me that they will not be releasing my prescription, which I was waiting months for. Petty move but not surprising. I will get the refund for my exam and $50 fee though so I can start all over again elsewhere. What a joke, avoid them at all cost.
