I've shopped with Paris Optique since the early 90's when they were located in Los Feliz and found their frames top notch. European frames which means made to last. They make the lenses on sight. No two week wait. My frames are now classics. I still receive compliments on them twenty years later. Haig and Sevan are great guys with great glasses.

WP took my existing prescription w/o the cost of another eye exam with them, there's a wide range of stylish reasonably priced frames, and the glasses were packaged safely in a hard-sided case and shipped direct to me in about 2 wks. Once received, I got a follow-up text letting me know I could come in for any adjustments. Parking is metered on the street but there is also a large free public parking lot across the street. If you want to be greeted or have someone readily available this store might not be for you. I'm sure if we asked the 1 guy that is working in the counter he would probably help but we were just looking. We were there yesterday after 6pm. I tried on some eyeglasses and definitely made for Asian fit which I love. I don't need reading glasses yet so I wear my contacts but if I will in the future I know where to look. We didn't get anything in this visit. Price is comparable to some high end brands you would get from Costco Optical. They do have some $90 frames.

The staff is genuinely friendly and knowledgeable, taking time to help you find the perfect fit and look. I tried on multiple luxury brands and they were patient throughout. Here's why I'm deducting stars: They advertise that they "work with all insurance providers," but this is deceptive. What they actually do is give everyone a flat 20% discount if you mention having vision insurance - they don't actually process insurance claims or work with insurance companies directly. This is NOT the same as accepting insurance. I drove 40 miles specifically to use my VSP insurance here after calling ahead. When I called, they told me to come in person to discuss insurance options, which led me to believe they accepted it. The reality? A Mykita frame with top-tier Zeiss progressive lenses would cost me $1,300+ after their "discount." The exact same setup through an actual VSP provider would cost me around $600 using my insurance benefits. That's a $700 difference! I wish they were upfront about this instead of using misleading tactics to get customers in the door. When you call asking about insurance, they should clearly state: "We don't accept insurance directly, but we offer 20% off and can provide receipts for out-of-network reimbursement." That would be honest. **Bottom line:** Absolutely visit if you want to see and try amazing frames and don't mind paying full premium prices. The selection and service for frame selection are excellent. But do NOT make a special trip thinking you can use your vision insurance here - you can't. Their "insurance discount" is just marketing speak for a regular discount everyone gets. **Tip for shoppers:** Try frames here, note the model numbers, then order through an actual insurance provider if you want to use your benefits.

Okay, no big deal and easy. Picked them up and asked to get them adjusted. That's when it went awry. I figured they'd be experienced and be able to adjust my glasses as I had to have an appointment for pick up. Nope. Save yourself the trouble and get them adjusted elsewhere. They gave it a very valiant effort but execution left a lot to be desired. They didn't break my new glasses but they were not balanced or straight after adjusting. Great taste in frames.
