I've waited so long to write this review. I've been going to Babe Cave Hawaii for over a year now and had such amazing results. Everyone there is amazing, friendly, and welcoming. I first started coming here for my lashes with Candace and it was my first time EVER having lash extensions. I was super nervous and didn't know anything about lashes or what I wanted. She walked me through the procedures, made me felt comfortable, and explained the difference of length, thickness, and curls of the lashes. She asked me what sort lashes I wanted and the results were amazing. I have never felt so pretty before and the fall out within 2-3 weeks are very minimal. Since then she has been my go-to girl for lashes. Let me tell you, Emmy has saved my skin. Ever since seeing her once a month, my skin has never stopped glowing. The redness has greatly minimized and my skin is super hydrated. When my skin is feeling the worst and I start having small breakouts, after one session with Emmy my skin starts to improve drastically. She worked with me through my pregnancy hormonal changes and up until now postpartum. She is extremely helpful when it comes to my skin concerns and answers any questions I have about skin products and procedures. My skin has never looked and felt better. I recently got my nails done from Nicole! Shoutout to Babe Cave Hawaii :) I've been doing my nails for almost 10 years now and the gel type that Nicole used was hands down one of the best quality I've experienced. Ariana is what I want to call a hidden gem! She is absolutely AMAZING at what she does and she is way too modest about it! My first impression is that she was very polite and soft spoken & everything about her made me feel immediately comfortable. Once we got into the room, she wasted no time getting started, not only did she take the time to address my overall skin concerns but she was able to explain to me exactly the skin type I had. She is very professional and I can tell how much pride she takes in what she does just from my short conversations with her. She made the overall experience very fun, educational & relaxing. B/c I was in such a wonderful state of relaxation that it felt like a beautiful spell had been cast by her hands of magic! Also, her transitions from one movement to the next felt so good that I was not jolted awake every time she put a new cold cream on my face, which to me is so much better. Tbh, the massage and overall experience left me feel refreshed and like a new person. I immediately had to tell my husband about it! It was so great I booked him an appointment as soon as I got home! As someone who was scared of doing my lashes (since I have contacts), I can say that Candace won me over as a long term client because of her high detail, luxury-level experience coupled with ACTUAL LONG LASTING RESULTS. I was finally able to go see Skye at her new spot in Babe Cave Hawaii about three weeks ago. We spent the morning retouching my color and retoning my 20 inch hair extensions. My hair is pretty long the and extensions have added more volume and some length to my natural hair. I work in veterinary medicine and spent my work days wrangling dogs and cats. Not one extension has been lost! I've gotten so use to having the extensions I've forgotten they're there. She uses beaded hair extensions which are comfortable and easy to get use to there no hassle or damage to my natural hair. The color is perfect and I couldn't be happier with my results. The inside of the beauty studio is clean and classy. Given all the challenges that the beauty industry has faced with covid they have gone above and beyond with sanitation protocols without taking away the experience of being in a beauty studio. After going YEARS without cutting my hair, I finally decided to go all in with a new look. I've been following Skye, my stylist, on Instagram for awhile. I sent her a DM and was able to schedule something within the next two weeks. The location is easy to find and there's parking! Upon arrival they have you sanitize and answer COVID-19 screening questions. It's a really cute shop! Very clean and organized. The length of my hair was below my butt and I haven't dyed it in years, so she was working with virgin hair. We cut TEN inches off! (The before picture was taken after she cut it) I also wanted to change up the color, so she did a foilyage with a money piece that replicated a reference photo I sent to her beforehand. I didn't want to go drastic with the color, just wanted to dip my toes in to the world of colored hair haha. The color and cut turned out PERFECT. I have been going to Candace for quite some time now. I started with Candace back in October 2017. I initially had the "Lil Drama Set". I wanted full, naturally long lashes, and being my first time getting lashes, she went through the steps, she educated me on the length, the shape (cat eye effect), aftercare, and she gave me exactly what I wanted! Candace also has in-shop products to help maintain your lash extensions, which of course I bought, and I also recommend buying to keep up lash hygiene and get the best results for your lashes because it is an investments. Moving forward, I got two more fills for my Lil Drama Set, then became interested in the "Au Naturale Set" on her Instagram page she did on a person once. The Au Naturale Set is basically that, for someone that wants a subtle set of lash extensions. I had two more fills of the Au Naturale Set, then wanted a little more full. So then I upgraded to the Classic Set, which was actually the PERFECT set for me. It wasn't too full, and it wasn't too subtle. I loved the length Candace chose for me, and for my eyes. It was perfect, she knew exactly what to do. Although I had to remove my lashes, I decided on getting a lash lift, and still did a great job. She lifted my straight short lashes. **To caveat, Candace uses products that smell good, that's a plus for me** In other words, Candace is a such a sweet person, and very easy to talk to! We always have something to talk about at every appointment, we have truly funny and interesting conversations. She's recommended so many things to me, she's a very knowledgeable person.
