Took my daughter into Eyemart Express not once but twice now that she has not received glasses same day. The first time we were told a machine broke (so we canceled this order since the only reason we did the deal that day was so she would have glasses same day until we could get insurance released), the second time we were told they closed the lab down early (kept this order pending since they were the glasses she loved), go to pick up the next day after calling because we do not live in Rocky Mount, we are thirty minutes from there and they said they would be ready in two hours so we go four hours later and the glasses are still not ready. When asked when they would be ready, they said I don't know we only have one lab tech. I am highly disappointed in Eyemart Express and would not refer anyone else to Eyemart Express in Rocky Mount, NC. read more

Dr Genge is very pleasant and skilled. Very successfully cataract surgery a few years back. Administration not so good. Billing clerk in Rocky Mount requested pay-up-front and overcharged me for a visit in July. "No longer there". Receptionist in Wilson confirmed my account showed a credit. This was a July visit and I am still waiting for the refund. Was told the check had been issued but I don't think it was sent. Wilson Billing Manager Cindy Hinnant ignores my follow up requests to the Wilson office. Peculiar. read more

This place was packed, there were at least 15 people in there . There was two workers Lyndsey Chucka and a young man the was training. He was scheduled until 5:00 , he left at 5:12 . Leaving Lyndsey all alone! She handled it with calmness and politeness. I'm sad that there was no one to help her. However she was amazing . They definitely need more dependable workers like Lyndsey! read more

Lifesaver! Broke my glasses and found out from my usual eye center I would not be able to have them replaced for over a month! I cannot see without my glasses! Called around and got an appointment immediately with the optometrist connected to Eyemart Express in Rocky Mount. After my eye exam, I walked next door with my prescription, picked out a frame and had no line bifocal transitions eyeglasses in 47 minutes! Outstanding service from Marcus, strong Covid safety measures in place and professional folks in the business. Couldn't ask for a better experience! Will never return to my long time vision service (30+ years) ever again! In 2021, no one who needs their glasses should have to wait over a month for a replacement pair! read more

Still five star, they go above and beyond for their customers. The staff is very helpful, I had an issue with my glasses they changed my lenses for me and understood my problems. First time using this eye company and the last. Receptionist don't know how to greet you on the phone and just hang up the phone without a good bye or have a nice day. Didn't see anyone wiping down the eye machines so I grabbed a tissue and wiped it down because the next thing you know someone will have an eye infection. Slow, slow service. STILL waiting to hear from someone about the medical information requested after being told it would be provided in about four days - today is day 9! Disappointing. read more
